I can testify to the power of the Most High. I have asked the Father many times for healing for myself and others. I tell doctors about my condition, it's a genetic one, and have consistently got a very surprised look. He has worked miracles for many people that were prayed for. I think he has steered me to this video. Thank You and may God bless you

You nailed it, as Christians we should to be very careful what we allow ourselves to believe when it comes to secular sources of biblical accounts, I believe everything the Bible states, but with that being said, I don't have a full understanding of everything stated in the Bible, many people point to the Bible and say do you really believe a book that says the earth is flat, the problem is nowhere does the Bible say the earth is flat, it does however say the full circle of the earth, is the earth a flat plain as many people speculate, I have no way of knowing, I do know there's videos of phenomenon that is hard to explain if the world isn't flat, like ships that disappear beyond the horizon just to be brought back into frame on cameras with high power zoom lenses, or the city of Chicago being seen from across one of the great lakes, I know the Bible warns us that knowledge will increase and there will be great deception in the world when we near the return of Jesus, I also know NASA is one of if not the first agency to report that the Earth was a globe, here's the problem I have with NASA, the simple fact it was headed by Nazi scientists seeking to dominate the world, some point to pictures from NASA as proof that the earth is a globe, yet NASA to my knowledge has never shown a real picture, they show a computer generated image created by a digital artist, we most certainly have more knowledge available today than at any other point in history, but we also have more disinformation to sort through than any other point in history, my advice much like yours, we should be careful what we allow ourselves to believe even though we may see it with our eyes or hear it with our ears.

The trials I’ve been through were the times I experienced God the most, and there were answered prayers in certain trials, and other trials God didn’t answer my prayers the way I wanted, but I experienced God and my faith and love still grew more through those times of non answered prayer, but it’s about learning to love God as unconditionally as God loves us. I also remind myself that just because I don’t understand why God allows something I don’t like or understand, but I realize and believe that God knows better, has a bigger plan and knowing the character of God is loving and worthy to be trusted. It is awfully hard and painful going through many trials in our life, but they are opportunities of trusting God and experiencing God the most during the hardest times, which I think is because we surrender and seek God with more focused spiritually than other day to day times, when we are not as focused on seeking Gods presence. I have been reminded that when painful things happen, it is not Gods punishment, but rather Gods preparation for something to come.

And that's not what I understand from the scriptures. I understand from the scriptures that the opposite of faith is offense. When Jesus was dealing with the Pharisees and interacting with them, they did not believe him, they took offense at him.

I was surprised by hints of egocentrism from him. Some people don’t have a spouse or children but that doesn’t mean they can’t reel from grief over the loss of a parent, sibling or best friend. My mom passed away a few years ago and it left an indelible mark on me such that I am forever changed. There is simply no replacement for her. No second mom. Perhaps the woman to whom he referred was incredibly close to her Aunt. Just a tad surprised his heart is not more open to others’ experiences.

-Only Christianity can explain the reality we are living, for example:
1- If God exists, why He doesn't speak to us face to face like we do? The only logical answer is original sin.
2- If God is life, why do we have to die? The only logical answer is original sin.
3- If God is perfect and His creation is good, why are we such a mess of human race? The only logical answer is original sin through our freewill.
Only original sin make sense and only Christianity believes it and expalins it perfectly.
Love creates and preserve, hates kills and destroy, and the only way to can claim a God of love is through Jesus Christ and the purpose of our existence.

I think a lot of people in the comments missed the first 3 messages, about doubt. Or else they just refuse to hear it. Lots of bitterness or anger and revulsion for God.
There’s a point where you can’t figure out things like the universe and God intellectually. It’s just the nature of the universe and your relative size and importance and ability that these things can only have so much evidence and support from the sciences or philosophy.
Eventually you must use your faith ability, you have to choose God. If you won’t, that isn’t Gods fault. He is faithful to always give more chances, but you’ve got to be willing.
God cares about humans, He is good and kind, and it is extremely arrogant of us to think we know enough to decide if what God does or doesn’t do is moral. Where do you think your moral standard comes from?
You can’t say to a creator God that you know better than Him about what should have happened to you, He should done this or that etc. And you don’t know all the forces and things going on in the universe. Don’t be angry at God, He has never hurt you for any reason not ever wanted to, God is actually super nice.
It comes to this. God is real, the evidence is everywhere, believe or don’t it is your choice.
God manifest Himself as A human in the person of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, because mankind had chosen evil over good, in their hearts they have chosen sin and darkness over truth and God Going all the way back to Adam and Eve.
To remedy the sin problem, Jesus died to fulfill the legal requirements of the universe, punishment for Sin(intentional violation of what you know to be right) so that any who would choose God would have a path back to Him.
Thru Jesus, who is a manifest part of God commonly called The Son.
It’s free, but you must admit first that God is real and Jesus lives and died for you, you must admit that you have sinned against God and be willing to start turning from you sin and towards Jesus. I did it just recently, I’m not like some super spiritual dude. I’m a regular guy. But God actually cared about me specifically and He kept nagging me in my heart, He kept giving me little clues and generally just came after me spiritually.
If you read this far then you already believe this and are just fact checking me, or else you don’t and God is “knocking on the door to your heart” like He did for me, Because He actually gives a damn about you.
Don’t let bad Christians or worldly injustice keep you from opening up to God, He genuinely cares about you, and Jesus is the only path to meaningful existence. There are fake Christians and bad Christians but that doesn’t discount the truth of Jesus.
Many many people will choose hell over God. God didn’t send them there as punishment, but He is everything good in this universe, there is nothing good apart from Him.
We don’t know a lot about hell, but the basic presumption I have made is that spirits cannot be uncreated, or else God simply doesn’t destroy spirits because it is against His nature.
Regardless, scripture seems to indicate that whichever you choose heaven or hell, you will have some form of existence eternally. Don’t choose darkness friend, God is merciful, everlastingly so, there’s always Hope for salvation. But sadly millions will not choose God.
If you need more convincing then keep looking for answers, He will see that you get them.
But when the answers come, enough of them, you’ll know when, it’s time to jump. You have to choose to believe, just like you choose to believe anything else that you can’t see or touch.
Anyway maybe God will use this absurdly long comment on RUclips to help someone,
Jesus is King, and He is on His way back to this earth 🌍

When you say God genuinely cares about you, what particular person are you directing your message to? The chosen of God were the Hebrew/Israelites. Therefore if you are not of this band of brothers then God is not concerned about any other group of people. And even less so if you are a slave.

    • @harrisonfletcher1254
      @harrisonfletcher1254 4 года назад +3

God cares for all people, He created us after all.
In fact, God gave up His only begotten Son, so that thru Him all men might be saved.
Yes, God chose the Hebrews to be His chosen people,
But the intention was always to send His Son Jesus to save the whole world. And He did that thru the jews. That was what He chose them For.
People always say “Gods chosen people” as if that excludes everyone else, but they never mention what God chose them for.
Wayyy back by the early Hebrew prophets God foretold that He would one day send a savior, a messiah, later He told them it would be thru the line of king David.
There are something like 70 distinct prophecies of the messiah, many of them repeated multiple times by different prophets in different words. Over 400 prophecies about the messiah(many of them are repeats but 70 ish at least that are distinct).
All of those prophecies were fulfilled in the God man Jesus Christ. Even to the date of his resurrection foretold to the day by Daniel.
, God cares for all men and women. He created us, then He paid for us with The most precious thing He had, His own beloved Son. He owns us twice over.
People think this is rhetoric but it’s true, look into the historical nature of Jesus. His existence is the single most documented part of the ancient world.
The men who knew Him personally believed in Him so much that they were hunted, tortured, and killed for Christ’s sake, and still they would not recant their faith in Jesus as the Son and savior of mankind. Horrible deaths and tribulations and persecution from the romans and others, but they would not say a word against Jesus. They believed He was the messiah completely, and they knew Him personally.
If you believe in God, then you’re already halfway there. God has promised that all men who wish to know the truth and seek God, Will get answers.
The trouble is that most do not want a God. They want to be their own gods, they don’t want to have to face a judge of their sins. They love darkness and sin, and so will not turn to the light.
But if you genuinely want to know if God is real, if you’re willing to accept Jesus if He is real, if you will accept the truth whatever it is, then go and seek the answers diligently, and God will speak to your heart, and lead you to the answers you need.
God is not exactly like mankind, He does not always do things the way men would expect or wish Him to. But God is real. This whole universe didn’t just randomly pop into existence, and if you’re being honest with yourself you will admit that. In fact if your were honest you would admit that God has been tugging at your heart about Jesus since you first heard of Him, quietly but insistently.
God loves mankind, He made us in His own image, He even left off being God and became a man, for us. All of us. But you must choose Him. He does not coerce people, or force people or terrify people into following Him. You must choose Him.
No man can come to the Father God except he be born again, thru Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins.
If you will admit that you have done things that you knew in your heart to be wrong, and you believe that Jesus was Gods Son, and you ask Jesus to allow you to pledge yourself to Him as a vassal to a Lord, then you can ask to be forgiven and He will forgive. This is the good news. That the Christ has come to redeem mankind from their sins against a holy and perfect God.
God does care, but He has given the truth to the world and many have rejected Him, even many who call themselves Christian.
If you truly seek answers then open your heart and open a bible, God can and does speak to us thru our spirits, (our hearts, our innermost being). It is often called the witness in the Bible, and it is how humans commune with and hear from God.
It’s not a voice, but is very similar to when your conscience tells you not to do something, or you get a bad feeling in your gut about something you know you shouldn’t do. (I’m not describing it perfectly but that’s the best description I could think of)
It’s not like I’m saying oh ya me and God are best buddies and converse just like anybody else. I’m sure that your relationship with God can progress that far, but it requires training your heart to listen and your mind to be quiet.
If you wish to know the truth, then open a Bible and read, ask God to show you the answers, and then listen to what your heart says.
I promise you, the answer will be Jesus:) God thought you were valuable enough to die for, He seriously cares.

When you say that God, in ancient times, promised to send a saviour you have to wonder why such a notion ever germinated in the mind of this deity? Do we not find that God had already stated that he is the one and only almighty god-that he alone is the saviour of his people. Therefore it is incongruous to say that God would send another in his place.
And where do we find that God gave up his only begotten son? Nowhere do we find God making such a statement. You further state that Daniel
even foretold the date of the the resurrection of Jesus. Now that would be something quite extraordinary to have knowledge of.

What we Humans need to do is come to grips with God's answers as He communicates and on His timeline. I comment only because this condition of Silence seems to be the single greatest undoing of Faith and it doesn't have to be.

One of the most cited examples is a 1988 study by cardiologist Randolph Byrd at San Francisco General Hospital. Byrd took 393 patients in the coronary-care unit and randomly assigned half to be prayed for by born-again Christians. To eliminate the placebo effect, the patients were not told of the experiment. You cannot have a relationship with an unseen being that ‘ moves in mysterious ways ‘. The dialogue you create in your head is autodidactic; it’s something you learn yourself based on what you know about yourself and then extrapolate this to a third party or God. If you keep talking to this invisible being long enough, he will talk back to you ! What you are doing is making excuses to yourself when your requests or wishful thinking is not reciprocated. This is why you have churches like this one, to help you sustain your illusion. What was in your head is now out in the open and being shared. You are not deluded if other people say they experience the same problems. However, what happens privately in your individual heads, does behave like a delusion.

Also Jesus walked away from the crowd that wanted to throw him off the Cliff. I know it’s not much but you forgot that one. That said, I get the suffering part, okay, but it does lead the human part of us to get to the point where we just give up asking. Here you have a Jesus who encourages us to ask, even beg, and then sends the disclaimers thru the followers later. Some disclaimers are in the other things he said, but most of Christianity has developed over the ages into excuses why most of this is not to be expected to work. So we create long talks about how not to gripe like in the psalms. Wears one out. It leads also to the current mind games of pretending for God. Good copy is our responsibility. I’m no longer asking for a smooth life, actually never have, but just going ahead and admit we kind of live in a world of crap shoot response. Guy on the ground by the pool waiting for an angel to stir the water. A ‘who knows’ religious life. Ethic of performance. Okay, not much different than a non-Christian existence. Other than live for later, not now. So much effort to figure out what I did wrong or if it’s for my good to grow. But you haven't listened and understood the true message in the scriptures. There is One Almighty Eternal God who had no beginning. The One and Only, Only Begotten Son of God came to make His Father's name known and Christianity refuses to know and understand the true identity of Almighty God essential to be blessed by the Son of God.
I did see the Son of God. I was spoken to on earth by a messenger who transmitted the Word of the Most High God about the fulfilment of prophesy. That messenger spoke to me and another person. When I took my mother to be spoken to that was when the Son of God spoke to me. Then the messenger came and spoke to my mum.
Oh but this did not happen over 2,000 yrs ago so that claim must be ignored by Christianity even though it is what all scripture reiterates.

God is not liar or a promise-breaker. He is not what you think. What G.H. says here is that most prayer experiments did not produce positive results. Some people think that their prayers have been answered and many think that they were not. The likely reason is that you cannot just get what you want with prayer. When he says God is all around us, what does he mean? So, what is God? We do not know, in the main. If you want to obtain advantages from a god, then I think you are thinking in the wrong way. i am not convinced by this person because he starts off by saying that God exists. But you cannot say that without some sort of evidence. So where is it? You cannot only quote the bible.

There are also times when His answer is so subtle that we cannot pick up on it. For example, perhaps He is watching out over our families if the car that sped out of control hit another vehicle that a family member was scheduled to be alongside of, but for that item they forgot at the last minute they had to return home to retrieve, or simply a strong desire to take an alternate route to work that day. Mr. Habermas, this is a bold topic! I may have to do a video on it myself. I doubted so much that I became an Atheist. More comments to follow after I listen. :)
...An hour and twenty-four minutes later....
Maybe the sincere believers in the audience are sincerely wrong. There just isn’t a god listening to prayers.

Hello Mr. Barker, I do not believe there is a god of any kind. I have read the Bible a few times as well as other holy books. It was actually reading the Bible that convinced me. If you don’t either that isn’t bad.

I actually have no doubt whatsoever there is a God. I wonder why you believe there isn't.

John Barker, that’s fine, sir. The beauty of life is that we all have choices and I hope your faith is fulfilling. I have not been presented with sufficient evidence of a god. Maybe some day somebody will offer many wonderful proofs. I am nearly fifty, I have traveled to several countries, I have seen people and animals needlessly suffer. I have met abused children and adults, I have friends that were sexually abused as children. If I were a god, such things would not be possible. I have a background in Christianity, Mr. Barker, the God of the Bible isn’t that great of a guy if you read about “him”. If “he” truly existed he is not worthy of my praise. I’m perfectly fine with people not sharing my viewpoint on the matter. Do you have a particular religion? If so, how long have you enjoyed your faith? Also, I appreciate the friendly exchange.

Yes sir, I am a Christian, and I also appreciate the friendly exchange. We are certainly free to believe what we want. I'm actually a very evidence oriented individual and this includes my faith. I personally think the evidence is very strong on many fronts. Especially on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Also in my own life I've experienced multiple supernatural events confirming my faith in God. It may sound crazy to you but I'm not talking about emotional experiences. I mean prophetic dreams, visions and miracles of healing.
It is a broken world for sure but it won't be that way forever. Everything will be made new and in the new creation there will be no suffering or death. I'm not gonna lie, it's hard for me to accept the suffering in this world too. In my job in radiology I have seen alot of terrible things. But I know God's word is true so I trust that the worst things cannot compare to the joy to come. I need to get off of here for now but I hope we can have some more dialogue in the future. Maybe discuss some specifics. ✌️
