I resigned from my work in Manila for my mental health. I was subject to bullying and slander at work with my stands on social issues. I was able to settle with my workmates. I needed to go on therapy out of the trauma. And,my mom offered to cover for my tuition if I go to law school. It is my childhood dream. My alma matter offers 20%discount to alumni. ☺This discussion will be very helpful to me.
Ito po yung sobra kong pinagpepray ko. Nakapasa na po ako sa PUP and conditionally admitted na po ako sa PLM and then this Pandemic happened. Bigla po akong nagrethink and Ive been very sensitive sa voice ni Lord. Last week, I took the decision na hindi muna magtuloy sa Law school po because I got a word from the Lord na I don't need to rush instead I need to trust. In addition, my mental health wasn't good and isa ako sa mga no work no oay so financially I wasn't ready pati sa mga internect costs pa. These signs were clear enough na the Lord was really telling me not to push through. Although nasasayangan ako, nasasayangan ang iba, I took this as a challenge to prepare myself more sa path na ito (ie. discipline) Clearly I wasn't really ready. I thank God for your life sir! This comforted me. Very timely talaga!

At pambili po ng libro. Lahat po iyon ay wala. Kaya sa tingin ko ay ipagpapaliban ko na muna ang pag-enroll, at sa susunod na taon na lang ako magpapatuloy. Nawa ay tama po ang magiging desisyon ko. Blessing po yung video ninyo. I guess I need to have that resolve to be more eager in pursuing studying law by building my study habit and passion for it. Lastly, salamat po sa prayers. My father just passed away last month and that prayer really struck my heart. He passed away ng malayo po kami sa kanya due to quarantine and that left a scar in my heart. This topic is very timely, Atty. I'm also thinking if i should enrol this semester because for the past 3 months or so it was really hard to study and learn in online classes. Procrastination level is 101% haha. There's no pressure to study since ctrl f and mr. Google is always there to help 😂 The "kaba" level is way different from onsite class. Sa ngayon nga iniisip ko if babalik na sa normal ang classes (hindi na online) nakakatakot ang recits.haha nasanay na kasi sa online class na walang pressure. Pero i know at the end of the day, it's always my responsibility to study. Laban lang tayo. Thanks Atty😇

I just took the entrance exam for law school and unfortunately i failed. But before i took it, I have been asking God for a sign that if ever this is my time to be a law student mag eenroll ako. So this happens. Maybe hindi pa talaga para sa akin ngayon maging law student and knowing how the pandemic might affect the educational system. And i can still use my spare time to read the overview of the laws and cases. I know in His perfect time, everything will be settled. Thank you so much for all your videos Atty!!! Nothing simultaneously excites and scares me more than going into law school, pero a month ago when I found out that I qualified for the law school I was aiming for and could enroll in online classes I didn't feel as happy as I thought I would. That's how I knew that physical classes are where I should be pursuing my dream, ramdam ko lang talaga. Thank you sa video attorney, sobrang informative and eye opening. Its more hard to working student like me, 1. Work from home- online meetings from 9am to 4pm including answering emails and client concerns; 2. Home chores- I am assigned for markets and groceries and other stuff; 3. School from home- another online session, i am more anxious for online recitation. Thank you Atty. I regret enrolling this semester. I am a second year student. Ive been told that 2nd year is the hardest year in law school, but everything's so rushed. Even my professors complain of the amount of learning we have to complete. Imagine finishing property, sales, subjects that require one wholr sem, to be finished in less than a month. Its so hard, but it is what it is. The new normal 😓

Last year ko pa gusto mag enroll sa law school but I was not able to take the PhilSAT. Although normal classroom setup ang na iimagine ko before, nothing's gonna stop me from starting this year amidst the pandemic kasi ito talaga gusto ko gawin sa buhay ko..😄

Agree atty. Been asking this question too. I am an incoming 4th year student and at the same time working. My challenge is that i am sharing a room with 2 other room mates. Baka makadisturbo just in case may recits. Hayst,pero for sure, will enrol pa rin po.

Also, from what I've gathered from law school professors, they plan to focus less on recitations for seniors and more on lectures and writing assignments. For your final year in law school, the training should be geared towards test-taking and writing. 😊❤️🙏🏻

I missed a whole year of law school because of missing units from my undergrad and based from experience the delay did not hinder my learning or success in graduating law school. Law school can and will wait.
The missing units shouldn't have stopped you from coming into law school. You can as a general rule, complete them during your first year in law school. Lex in Motion that time po kasi we were ‘t allow to simultaneously take undergrad units and law school units :( there was a problem with our school back then. The year off was a much needed break din to reorganize myself and my fighting spirit for law school ❤️ minsan kasi akala ng students you have to finish law schools in 4 years by hook or by crook, when in fact law school is not a race but a personal journey.
How come Harvard, Cambridge and other “lesser” law schools are able to offer online law degree courses? Is it difficult for the law faculty to undergo a paradigm shift? Apparently the confusion and befuddling of the issues involved in the mode of delivery of lessons in law school is that we do not understand the virtual learning environment. SO I think we have to resolve the issue whether classroom sessions has become anachronistic to law study?
Sa mga gusto maglawschool habang pandemic ang masasabi ko lang is Law School can wait but your sanity and your financial stability can't. Mahirap magaral pag marami kang iniisip na dagdag bayarin and responsibilidad dahil sa pandemya.

Kakaenrol ko lng sa Bicol College during this pandemic. According to the school, actual pa rin yung klase, not online, but the proper hygiene, social distancing, and wearing of facemask will be oberved during the class.
Indeed! It's a tough question to answer. Here I am, encouraging future lawyers, but this is the state of law schools in this pandemic. This is where I stand on the issue. 😊❤️🙏🏻
As for me I learn more by self-studying than in school. I guess there are pros and cons on everything. Ikanga, adjusting to the new normal. No vaccine yet hence we must all make sure to prioritize health (and our lives first). Yes, online classes are difficult - but it is the lesser evil as of now. Idk if mixed face2face and online is really conducive esp those without access to transportation and those students who live far away from their schools. Or perhaps sending modules would help since net access is not stable for everyone.

Lastly, salamat po sa prayers. My father just passed away last month and that prayer really struck my heart. He passed away ng malayo po kami sa kanya due to quarantine and that left a scar in my heart. Guilt, regrets, and loss were there. This topic is very timely, Atty. I'm also thinking if i should enrol this semester because for the past 3 months or so it was really hard to study and learn in online classes. Procrastination level is 101% haha. There's no pressure to study since ctrl f and mr. Google is always there to help 😂 The "kaba" level is way different from onsite class. Sa ngayon nga iniisip ko if babalik na sa normal ang classes (hindi na online) nakakatakot ang recits.haha nasanay na kasi sa online class na walang pressure. Pero i know at the end of the day, it's always my responsibility to study. Laban lang tayo. Thanks Atty😇

I just took the entrance exam for law school and unfortunately i failed. But before i took it, I have been asking God for a sign that if ever this is my time to be a law student mag eenroll ako. So this happens. Maybe hindi pa talaga para sa akin ngayon maging law student and knowing how the pandemic might affect the educational system. And i can still use my spare time to read the overview of the laws and cases. I know in His perfect time, everything will be settled. Thank you so much for all your videos Atty!!! Nothing simultaneously excites and scares me more than going into law school, pero a month ago when I found out that I qualified for the law school I was aiming for and could enroll in online classes I didn't feel as happy as I thought I would. That's how I knew that physical classes are where I should be pursuing my dream, ramdam ko lang talaga.

Its more hard to working student like me, 1. Work from home- online meetings from 9am to 4pm including answering emails and client concerns; 2. Home chores- I am assigned for markets and groceries and other stuff; 3. School from home- another online session, i am more anxious for online recitation.

I regret enrolling this semester. I am a second year student. Ive been told that 2nd year is the hardest year in law school, but everything's so rushed. Even my professors complain of the amount of learning we have to complete. Imagine finishing property, sales, subjects that require one wholr sem, to be finished in less than a month. Its so hard, but it is what it is. The new normal 😓

Agree atty. Been asking this question too. I am an incoming 4th year student and at the same time working. My challenge is that i am sharing a room with 2 other room mates. Baka makadisturbo just in case may recits. Hayst,pero for sure, will enrol pa rin po.
Konting kembot na lang, kapatid. Palagan mo na yan. Also, from what I've gathered from law school professors, they plan to focus less on recitations for seniors and more on lectures and writing assignments.

I missed a whole year of law school because of missing units from my undergrad and based from experience the delay did not hinder my learning or success in graduating law school. Law school can and will wait.
The missing units shouldn't have stopped you from coming into law school. You can as a general rule, complete them during your first year in law school.

Lex in Motion that time po kasi we were ‘t allow to simultaneously take undergrad units and law school units :( there was a problem with our school back then. The year off was a much needed break din to reorganize myself and my fighting spirit for law school ❤️ minsan kasi akala ng students you have to finish law schools in 4 years by hook or by crook, when in fact law school is not a race but a personal journey.

How come Harvard, Cambridge and other “lesser” law schools are able to offer online law degree courses? Is it difficult for the law faculty to undergo a paradigm shift? Apparently the confusion and befuddling of the issues involved in the mode of delivery of lessons in law school is that we do not understand the virtual learning environment. SO I think we have to resolve the issue whether classroom sessions has become anachronistic to law study?

Kakaenrol ko lng sa Bicol College during this pandemic. According to the school, actual pa rin yung klase, not online, but the proper hygiene, social distancing, and wearing of facemask will be oberved during the class.

As for me I learn more by self-studying than in school. I guess there are pros and cons on everything. Ikanga, adjusting to the new normal. No vaccine yet hence we must all make sure to prioritize health (and our lives first). Yes, online classes are difficult - but it is the lesser evil as of now. Idk if mixed face2face and online is really conducive esp those without access to transportation and those students who live far away from their schools. Or perhaps sending modules would help since net access is not stable for everyone.

Lex in Motion just an update he told us to upload a video while taking the exam and we raised our concern about how many times we redo his practice exam because of unstable internet connection and yet he wants us to upload a 3hours straight video for reliably and some of us uses phones bc of no other means and he told us "theres a will theres a way".
