My mom's childhood dream is to become a CPA Lawyer. She started studying law at the age of 55 and finished at the age of 60. To those out there having second thoughts, may this inspire you to pursue your dreams kahit may doubts kayo. It's never to late to start on anything. Kesa naman magising kayo isang araw thinking of what ifs and regretting that you didn't try at all. Good luck to our future lawyers!

Thank you so much for the kind words, bro. As I've mentioned before, law school is not a sprint. It's a marathon. The finish line is somewhere in Padre Faura, where you will stand with your family and take your oath as a defender of the Constitution, the champion of justice and a beacon of light, in our dark, dark times. Haters will hate, that is their job but know in your heart that God sees your struggles. He knows your pain and while He wants to give you the easy way out, He also knows that where you are right now, has all the lessons, the tools, the people and the resources He wants you to use, to bring you the best version of your law school dreams. Trust the process, trust the Lord and everything else will follow.
Hello po. So how’s law school? I’m 34 now and I’m thinking of finally pursuing my long time dream after binge watching Atty Lex’s channel. Hope it all works out for me too.

I am 29. Turning 30 early next year. For 5+ years I've held back my dream of entering law school due to financial constraints. But now after having landed a job that can support my studies and does not demand too much of my time (but requires a lot of responsibility and oversight), I have decided to take the leap of faith. Your videoes are a very welcome encouragement especially during these trying times. Thank you and God bless good sir.
Thank you, kapatid. I made my grand return to law school once I’ve built passive and active income for myself, my family and much, much later for my own family. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your law school dreams. 😊❤️🙏🏻
39 is too young. I heard po na the oldest law student to become a lawyer is 88 years old. I forgot the source but I'm certain that it comes from a Law-related FB page. Skl 😁

I was 28 when I entered second semester in law school. I am 29 now. Still at freshman year, but fighting and learning! I start with the strats and must-do's. I am still developing, but I look forward to be the best that I can be. Some discourage me because of my age pero kevs lang. Bahala sila oy! Hehe
Thank you for sharing, kapatid. Thank you for being here. The best time to go to law school is the time you actually enroll. There are not right or wrong answers here. Thank you for sharing, bro. Thank you for being here, and watching this episode. Nothing is ever certain, once you take the first step on your law school journey - EXCEPT that you're there for a reason, and that you're never alone. God bless you, bro. We are all here for you. ❤️🙏🏼😊
I come across this video just now. I am happy that I did. This confirms my decision of pursuing my dream of becoming a lawyer 2 years ago. I am now on my 3rd year in law school and still continue to enjoy the day to day learning process. I am now 59 years old and a retiree. I retired at the age of 55 and after two years of retirement during pandemic I got bored and remembered my once upon a time dream of becoming a lawyer. It dawn on me that nothing is too late and that there is no deadline in achieving ones dream. So, I decided to enroll in law school. Everything that you said Atty. were all true. I am blessed by your wisdom and kind words for older people like me who wished to pursue their long time dreams. Thank you so much for affirming and motivating me to continue with my law school journey. May the good Lord bless me and all law students out there to hurdle the challenges in law school and finally become future lawyers. I am also doing intermittent fasting now and it is indeed helpful in maintaining a good and healthy condition necessary for a law student like me. May God continue to bless your program always. 👍❤🙏
Sir, I have been searching for google about this matter. And, I am thankful I have arrived to your channel and felt relief hearing your words on this. This is so inspiring to hear. Just turned 50 this August. I am just trying to do something worthwhile after working decades as an Engineer. Most professions retire at the age of 60 to 65, but lawyers do not as long as they are still alive and kicking. My concern is that what if I live beyond 65, I worry more about being broke than just a dust in the wind. LOL Might as well take my chance of becoming a Lawyer and secure a lifetime profession.
Salamat, sis. Next episode is all about our bachelor's degrees, and how our pre-laws can affect our performances in law school, plus pro tips on what we can do to adjust. :)
Salamat din, kapatid. I hope it gives you the impetus to move forward and stop treating law school as just a dream but as a tangible, measurable and doable life goal. God bless you, kapatid. I’m praying for you. 😊❤️🙏🏻
I'm turning 29 this Feb.25 and a graduating student in college this year. Hopefully this year maka enroll ako sa law school. Salamat Atty. Lex, na inspired ako sa episode nato. God bless you more.

Maraming maraming salamat. There is a reason kung bakit ngayon pa lang ako maglalaw school. Good luck sa lahat ng future attorneys!
Hi, kapatid. I’m very happy you’ve found Lex in Motion. No one is ever too late to go to law school. The best age is the age you actually go for it. 😊❤️💯
I am 32, single, working student, breadwinner... I am now on my final year na po.
@Juntasan Shunsa Hindi kasi ako nagfufull load ever since when I was in first year.
Thank you sir for sharing your stories with us. This will bring encouragement and inspirations to all the students including me who is trying to find my inspiration to continue my journey. Looking for more videos to upload🤗❤

Thank you Atty. Lex for this video, I'm really thinking if I will enroll next year in the law school because I'm already 41 y/o, I want to try to enter because this is my father's dream when he was young he want to become a lawyer or to have a daughter lawyer. I was also inspired by our professor Judge Belulia who kept on telling us that the only bridge to cross your dream is to try the 1st step and continue moving until the end.

I stopped law school in 1997 on my third year and never got back ever since. All my friends and batchmates have already reached a certain level in their career in law and jurisprudence. Never got to go back and a lot has changed. Would look into that possibility in the future. At that time, I was in my early twenties, now you know what age I am right now.

Hi, kapatid. The law provides a minimum age for taking the bar - it's 21 years old but not a maximum. It's highly unlikely for you to be too young for the bar exam; and if for whatever reason you were accelerated in elementary, finished college and law school before the age of 21, then perhaps you can use that time to really, REALLY prepare for the bar exam.
😅 I'm actually 22 po. I am qualified to enroll this upcoming sem for law school and currently wrecking my brains out and contemplating if it's the right time to enter law school. What I meant about "too young" is "Am I intellectually-ready and emotionally-ready for law school?". I was not talking about technicalities. Sorry, i am asking out of desperation to find an answer. I am asking for advice lang po. Hehehe
Hi, sis. It's alright to be filled with doubts, especially as we are weeks away from the start of classes in some of the law school in Manila. In this week's episode - the topic is your pre-law and adjustments in law school but a good portion of the episode is about the emotional maturity, and readiness into committing the next four or five years of your life to law school. I hope to answer your questions then. :)
Anna Jubairah Dimaocor hi Anna, I was 24 when I took the bar and passed it. In my opinion, age does not matter in studying law so there’s no such thing as being too young or old. Nasa intellectual predisposition mo na siguro kung ready ka na or hindi mag sacrifice ng time and effort. As for me, my only goal in life back then is to be a lawyer so my mindset was why waste time in doing other things which would not further my goal of becoming one.
Happy to help, kapatid. I want to be part of your law school journey, however way I can. If you ever feel like sharing, kapatid, know that I am only one PM away. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Arellano Law ka boss? I can relate to your experiences.I am a working law student from Calapan City. Monday to friday work ako sa City Government namin the Friday PM luwas na Manila for law school ng Saturday and Sunday.... On topic, wala sa age yan, our class valedictorian is around 50 years old na noong grad kami
I am older because I am already 65 a retired government employee. I am tired of being busy on how to become wealthy but it's not coming. I just wanted to learn while getting older. Is learning laws still fit my age? Hoping for your reply/advices.
@4:10 is kinda like me po. 😔 kinda lang po kasi i'm far from middle management. Purely clerical pa din ginagawa ko and for years have been passed over for promotion kahit na i think i have a little above average brains than most of my colleagues at work 😔 i am becoming interested in taking up law school but i don't think i can meet one of the requirements to enter law school, i.e., a recommendation letter from my bosses. What should i do?
Hello, kapatid. Welcome sa Lex in Motion Community. Thank you for sharing, kapatid. A recommendation from your boss isn't one of the requirements for admission in law school. I hope I am making sense. If you ever feel like sharing, kapatid, know that I am only one PM away. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hello Atty. Im in my mid-40s and contemplating on becoming a lawyer. Im an average student with 78% gwa. My age is actually stopping me from enrolling. Can’t memorize that efficiently na e.
hank you for sharing, kapatid. I wish to personally invite you to join The LXM Boot Camp. It’s our program to help determine if you are for law school, if law school is for you, or both. Batch 09 is happening on March 3-12. Register here today: forms.gle/2CnfCS5fQiLAXzaZ8
I'm 33, and really want to proceed to law school. But still in doubt po sir lex 'cause I lack the confidence. Now, I wanna prepare for PhilSat though. Can you suggest po ba sir lex on any reviewer or materials that would help me in my preparation for PhilSat? Though my decision is not fix this time, but I wanna start reviewing for PhilSat because who knows I might get ready tomorrow. 🤔
Feeling ko kayang kaya ko maging Abogado. Kakayanin ko to.
I was wondering, employability wise, does age matter then? I'm turning 28 and am worried about financial stability since I'll have to sacrifice 4-5 yrs of earning and investing.
Hi, sis. Thank you for this question. We would have to qualify the answer. I’ve been a working student since college and my experience, skills and training have led me to an almost comfortable employment in my mid-20s. If I hadn’t been supporting my family, I would’ve saved a lot. I then moved to a job with a substantially larger offer and a bigger role that enabled me to support my family PLUS send myself to law school, but on a tight budget. I’ve learned later on that lawyering is going to be ultimately more fulfilling and slightly better paying compared to a middle-management position that you will invariably have as you hit your 30s.
Salamat, bro. I would like to add that DELAYS happen for a reason. If I hadn't spent all of my life savings almost a decade ago, I wouldn't have taken the path I am on; and perhaps we wouldn't be having this channel, and this conversation.
Thank you for sharing, kapatid. If you ever feel like sharing, kapatid, know that I am only one PM away. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hi sir lex, I was really inspired by this video. I would like to ask a question after law school. Is it hard to land a job at a good law firm say after graduating at 35 years old. I am just weighing my options, if I would go back to school it would be hard for me to go back to my current career path and I would need to pursue a career in law.
Hi, bro. There's always a good market for bar-passers, no matter their age. The hard work doesn't end after the bar. The first five years of practice has nearly killed a lot of people, and the high attrition rate makes new lawyers always in demand. I hope this doesn't discourage you, though.
Hi, sis. Thank you for reaching out and thank you so much for the brand new RUclips account. My mother wanted me to take up a science related course because I excelled in Physics, Algebra and Chemistry but my hearted at that time, wanted more. I worked in a advertising agency at 17 because I needed money for my allowance. My first job was a utility man. I was hired to lift heavy things, and run where I was needed. I worked my way up to audio, editing until I was made a creative director, and much later, partner. The money in an agency comes and goes. You have your fixed salary which isn't much, and then you have the big happy paydays, where my bosses make champagne rain. That's when I realized I wanted more out of life. During the last two weeks before college graduation, I decided I wanted to go to law school. I am a firm believer in the law of large numbers. It means that given enough X, any result is possible. Given enough customers, you will eventually hit your sales targets. Given enough time in a workshop, you will eventually learn how to build a chair. Given more time, you will eventually make excellent chairs. Applied to law school, it is theoretically possible for you to learn the law, top the bar and be an excellent lawyer. Everybody can do that. The problems begin with the time constraints. Others will do it in five years of study; some will do it with 55 years of study. I decided to come to law school, with a small touch of advantage. I just finished Political Science; I had a solid grasp of learning, writing and average speaking skills. I knew then I had the minimum requirements. We didn't have the PHILSAT Exam to tell us we could be lawyers back then - but from where I was sitting, I figured it was worth a shot. The worst that could happen was for me to spend all my savings, fail spectacularly in law school and waste a year of my life. Can I survive that? Of course, I can. I started with nothing at 17. I could do it all over again. The preparation I did was to make the final decision to go to law school. When I make decisions, I typically go all in. No more turning back. That's why I moved to sell my shares in the partnership and to find buyers for everything, and anything that could possibly lure me back to production work. That included my cameras, audio equipment and desktops. I sold everything I owned and got admitted to a law school in the same week. I spent that summer finishing up my contract to train our new hires, hunting for an apartment near the school and saying goodbye to the people who have cared for me for the better part of a decade. Financially, I knew I didn't have much and that I had to eat frugally, often one to two meals only per day. I did everything to stretch my life savings, thinking I could finish law school without working. I essentially lived like a monk, spending my days readings and studying, and my evenings in more study and rest. I stopped because I had to support my family. I dropped out of law school with nothing to my name, except for my textbooks, my notes and my old laptop. I did however, come out with a dream to go back. That is my freshman law school story. A desk and a dream. This week, I'll be discussing all about our bachelor's degrees and how they affect our performance in law school. I'll also be discussing the adjustments you have to make for you succeed in law school. Brand new episodes go live every Friday at 6:00 pm. Ang haba na pala, sis but I'll be doing a video on how to find out if law school is for you. I hope this helps and welcome to Lex in Motion.

What about if you're already 54?
I was 28 when I entered second semester in law school. I am 29 now. Still at freshman year, but fighting and learning! I start with the strats and must-do's. I am still developing, but I look forward to be the best that I can be. Some discourage me because of my age pero kevs lang. Bahala sila oy! Hehe
Thank you for sharing, kapatid. Thank you for being here. The best time to go to law school is the time you actually enroll. There are not right or wrong answers here. One foot forward, then the other. One after the other. Yan ang buhay sa Law school.
God bless you, kapatid and your law school dreams. 😊💯🙏🏻

Thank you Attorney! This video is so inspiring.

What if it's the other way around? How about the question "Am I too young for law school?"
I will wait for the next episode then. Thank you very much po! ❤
Maraming salamat sir..
Salamat, sis. Thank you for being here. I hope this inspires you that age doesn’t matter in law school. 😊❤️🙏🏻

What should i do?
Hello, kapatid. Welcome sa Lex in Motion Community. Thank you for sharing, kapatid. A recommendation from your boss isn't one of the requirements for admission in law school. Thank you so much, kapatid. I hope the 12 minutes here had added something to your life. :)
INSPIRING STORY PO SIR :D :D !!!
Salamat, bro. I would like to add that DELAYS happen for a reason. If I hadn't spent all of my life savings almost a decade ago, I wouldn't have taken the path I am on; and perhaps we wouldn't be having this channel, and this conversation.
idk bakit umiiyak ako habang pinapanood ko tong episode na to, lalo pagdating ng realization no. 4.. hehe
