Hey there!
This is an old vid and was blocked but is now visible! So happy you can all finally see it.
This has to be up there with most emotionally powerful performances I've ever seen.
Mind. Blown.
Worth bearing in mind that Devin was suffering from flu for this performance. Mind-blowing.
I recently subscribed within the week, and am happy I did! It is always an exciting feeling when it’s possible to share these musical moments with somewhat like-minded folks. I struggle to hold it together during this song each time as well! Cheers! 🤘🏻
0:01 awesome humour Andrew -my kind & I can totally relate too!
I was going to say, I was sure I've saw you react to him before - glad you got this one back!
Amazing! Love Strapping Young Lad as well.
True story… Devin had the flu that night… and apologized after the show for sounding bad… … he doesn’t like his own voice…. His voice is absolutely Godly…
That's madness
@@AndrewRooneyDrums you can hear it a bit at 7:42
@@009Edson I thought he was recovering from being sick and didn’t actually have the flu that night. I don’t think his vocals would have been nearly this good if he was in the midst of full-on infection 😂.
@@cpjds1correct, I heard he was recovering from laryngitis. Crazy if true.
Drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen killed it on this whole tour!
HELL YES
Really nice guy too Ryan is, briefly had chance to speak to him and he's very down to earth !
He’s an awesome guy, super nice and positive.
@@AndrewRooneyDrums If you check out his RUclips channel he has some incredible videos under "Live Feed Fridays" it's basically his own drum focused camera along with remixes of the songs to bring the drums front and center. Highly recommend "Higher" when he was drumming for Devin.
I was at this gig! It was *mint*
My brother and I were in the accessible seating area (I've a lower leg disability), sat in front of the media reviewers. We were rocking out hard ourselves (as can be seen on the bluray in Heatwave), and cos we were the only ones behind the media folk, we had people applauding our seated headbanging and just having a good time.
The next day, waiting for our train home, we had 4 people come and go "you and your sister were really good to watch just enjoying the moment and not giving a fuck about those dour twats in front of you!"
I also had the pleasure of working with Dev at one my last ever festivals before I broke myself by jumping off the stage to get some cables for monitors... (Don't jump off stages kids)
Hands down one of the nicest people I've met in a decade of being a live sound engineer and stage manager, like he was bringing cups of tea and coffee to the stagehands and monitor engineers, and just chatting about shit with folk.
@Richard Harrold normal festival stage height to grass - I leapt off to get some cables for the vox monitors and landed badly - my left toes touched the back of my shoulder and I cracked 2 vertebrae (L2 and L3)
Then during a routine operation to fix some of the damage to my knee, the surgeon sliced through a large nerve bundle, leaving me with a permanent excruciating disability and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (Type II)
I've done that jump hundreds, probably thousands of times as a touring sound engineer, just landed awfully and bad luck with a surgeon
@Richard Harrold currently in the process of suing the bastard - CRPS is an absolute nightmare to diagnose, and this surgeon gaslit me for 7 years into thinking this was normal.
I have phantom limb pain in a limb I still own - CRPS basically changes how the brain views a limb that had had a nerve injury. It changes the proprioception of the entire side of the body the injury is on. So my big toe (which I've not felt since) has been itchy. And about 40mm to the right of my physical toe.
I'm currently trying to get an amputation, because it means I will be less disabled.
WHICH IS MAD
@Richard Harrold already got the phantom limb pain, and without the existing bits of foot that I can feel, the pain should decrease as my brain is trying to work out what's going on with a foot that is missing 2/3rds of its sensation
The things Devin can do with his voice are just jaw-dropping.
I saw him in a coffee shop in Heathrow back in 2014 when I was on a business trip…he saw me staring at him and the look on his face was like, “PLEASE don’t come over and ask for an autograph” lol. I just left him alone.
Nice! I’m sure he’s great to the fans though
@@AndrewRooneyDrums
No doubt! He looked exhausted and I’m sure he was in the middle of a tour.
@@AndrewRooneyDrums yea he is i'v gotten to talk to him 5 times, and the last time he sat down for nearly 2 hours to talk with fans after doing a hour long set with a blown out knee.
That's funny! I had the exact same experience with Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree, except I asked for a picture to which he replied 'Noooo!!' LOL
I actually had Ryan on my podcast as well. Hell of a drummer and super nice guy.
Excellent. I’ll have to check that out
For the longest time, one man 'stood out' from the crowd for me as a singer with a unique voice.
And that man was Freddie Mercury. But then one day this man appeared as some sort of phenomenon
on the internet. I put off watching it for a while, but when I finally did I was shocked to hear his various
abilities. This is truly a man that fits that mark. This is top-top notch perfection.
I am so glad to be alive to witness this man's gifts. He is truly blessed.
This song simultaneously makes me awestruck and brings me to tears every time I listen to it, so intense.
Very!
Same!
That moment at 12:10 when you see him lift up to get even more vocal projection is just mindboggling. Was there at the Royal Albert Hall show and I still haven't come to terms with that day. Incredible musician.
Yeah this is next level
Ryan, it's not a known name for most of people, of not that known for most of drummers... But he is one of the top drummers nowadays.
He is very precise, very professional and also very creative.
This music doesn't show what he can do at all... I mean, even listen to him playing this music is easy to understand that he is very good.
He plays really clean, he plays for the music, great dynamics and some details with a very good taste.
BTW, Devin is very demanding regarding drummers.
Just look at the drummers be already played with.
I’m living on a steady diet of Devin Townsend and Steven Wilson. I mean, what the hell else compares?! Andrew - you gotta do: Devin Townsend - Funeral/Bastard/Death of Music (yes all three in one) live at Royal Albert Hall. It’s possibly the best sequence of music ever.
Same, with Opeth and Louis Cole in the mix for me personally
Your life now exists in two parts, before Devy and after Devy
Well said :)
Devin Townsend has worked with so many drummers, including Gene Hoglan (formerly of Death and Fear Factory), 66Samus, and a plethora of other big hitters. Devin is a very special artist, song writer, musician, composer, with such a versatile ability in terms of genre spanning in his music. Fast to slow, hard to soft, chaos unchained, to order unmolested, there is no unexpected path for him, not because his lane is narrow, but because all paths are open to him musically. His vocals are as broad in range as his musical influences, with him being capable of angelic, operatic clarity and demonic, incomprehensible growls, screams and seamless switching between the two. I have seen him live many times, and on every occasion have felt closer to whatever passes for god in this reality at those events, than at any other time in my life. Something about his music just tears my soul open, lays me open like a scalpel, lets the bile out of me. If it weren't for Jesus Christ, I'd worship Dev.
He’s a true artist Peter. Stunned
Don't forget Morgan Ågren :)
Lofty words, but if this track is anything to go by, thoroughly deserved.
You'll get better results with Devin. 😂
Devin is me of the most underrated musical geniuses… dude is overly talented
You definitely should listen the the trio: funeral/bastard/death of music.
You find it all together on the tube. That’s a journey my man
Yup. This is next level stuff
@@DrCrimp-sg5pb All of Ocean Machine is amazing. And Strapping Young Lad's City for something heavier.
I've been watching a bunch of reactions to Devin and it's awesome to see a kiwi watching him.
Keep an eye out because he actually comes here for gigs surprisingly often, I've been in to him since ~2009 and seen him here 3 times, which is surprising for a relatively obscure Canadian.
Your WTH-moment…Priceless.
I named my second son Devin 15 years ago for a reason. No shit. 😂
🙌
This is one of Devin's first songs I ever heard, and I was completely hooked. This almost brings me to tears every time I hear it, and I don't know I'll ever fully understand why.
I hear ya. This is deep
@@AndrewRooneyDrums Devin's performs his song "Kingdom" @ EMGt's studio's, he's on his own but the entire band sound is there. (Wall of Sound)
As a fellow Kiwi & supporter I just want to suggest Devin as I feel you'll like his performance too! Devin perform 'Kingdom', Cheers! Link below:
ruclips.net/video/nubJjB95VdY/видео.html 😊
Welcome the wonderful world of heavy devy! His metal band from the 90s and 2000s was called "Strapping Young Lad " its unbelievable. Gene Hoglan was his drummer in S.Y.L.
You and me both. I don't know how to explain it, but it's just so emotional, it's like he's putting every last bit of himself into the performance of this song, and I feel like he's pouring out his soul. Not even sure if that makes any sense but that's my attempt at an explanation for how I feel about this song.
It's about the struggle he had with his wife, and the effects of his battle with addiction had on their relationship.
Owner of every Devin CD right here 🇬🇧👍❤️
I can see why
Even, "The Hummer?"
@@MrPeabody67 Good question. That is a damn hard album to find
It’s all so well produced, I can’t stop buying his studio albums.
Pretty insane level of sound engineering in this gig throughout. Whoever mixed this is the unsung hero.
Pretty sure it was Devin himself. He seems to mix absolutely all of his own work.
bro those vocals are majestic
Yes Samuel
Been listening to Dev rather religiously for well over a decade. He’s basically an alien, in every way. A rare, rare form of creative genius the likes of which I have never seen.
Incredible 👽🛸
6:45 "I realize that I've ruined the vibe that's been created, so let's pop back a little bit..." - Andrew
"HOORAY!" - Devin in the part popped back to 😂
I felt like that when I heard it the first time to…. His Music just does something to You
Sure does Allan
YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. This was on the Paypal list to react to. (DT is tuned to an Open C for this, which is why it sounds "huge")
MASSIVE
This is just such an appropriate reaction to this song.
🙏
Hi Andrew , how are you doing ? Communicating with you from Paris France. Happy you discovered the canadien Devin Townsend, especially with this track Deadhead recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in London. A masterpiece. I'm Eric, 61 and I love music since I am a teenager and my first real concert was KISS in 1976 in Paris/ Olympia , I was 15 ! ... But speaking of Devin Townsend, you should discover his first album..... that was a Steve Vaï Album ! He was 20 and had the lead vocals for the Steve Vai Project album... His voice was already amazing. Then he shared with us a truly amazing experience with SYL, Strapping Youn Lad, for me the most extreme Metal Music experience and a performance on stage out of mind. Please take a look at their live concert with Gen Hogland ( the atomic clockwork) on drums. Then , the Devin Townsend Project was most peaceful... Enjoy ! Eric
I had exactly the same reaction you did. I wasn’t really exposed to Devin much and this caught me off guard. True artistic expression.
Yes Jody! WOW
You absolutely nailed this reaction. I am with you 100%. This is one of the most unexpected and powerful performances I have seen/heard in a long long time. And so beautiful, musically. Awesome.
This live performance and Porcupine Tree's live performance of Anesthesia are unmatched. Neither fail to give me chills each time I watch them.
It's called the "Devin Townsend Experience". This guy blows my emotional registers on a daily basis. Never have I listened to an such an artist.
💯🙌
Devin is a true artist. He has such an amazing understanding of musical composition. The choices in melody, keys and time signatures topped with a voice of many textures...emotional indeed.
I always love it when someone truly discovers the depth and genius of hevy devy! It’s that same beautiful reaction every single time!
Couldn't agree more! So moving Jeremy
@@AndrewRooneyDrums my epiphany came when I heard City start to finish from Strapping Young Lad when I was only 14. Plus, you as a drummer I’m sure know Gene Hoglan, part of that outfit. But the brainchild was always Devin. It just continued to get better from there. May I recommend a solid listen to Centipede off of Strapling Young Lad’s Live in Melbourne as well as the version of Supercrush! off of Devin’s Virtually Live 2 release a few years back. Pure bliss. Oh and let’s not forget his complete acoustic pressing from Leeds. Dude. There’s just SOOOOOOOOO much there and that’s just scratching the surface.
My favourite song of all time, I'm glad your video got unblocked! You've obviously learned more about Devy and Ryan Van Poederooyen since then, keep going down that rabbit hole.
Also, my favourite part of this video outside of the obvious experience that is Deadhead live: "If you feel like it at any time, PICK A TEMPO!"
Dev's one of the greatest frontmen who's ever lived. If you ever get a chance to see him live, take it.
I was at this gig, fucking insane, emotional as shit. Dev is just the best!
Also, love your videos man!
That’s bananas. Rare company!
Devin is a alien gift for the entire mankind.
Yes Lorenzo!
This was an excellent live performance, but I think you should check the "Live In Plovdiv" performance they did. They had a whole orchestra backing them man.
Edit: Check out the drums on the song "By Your Command" in Plovdiv. It'll blow your mind
Thank you!
YES! Seconded! Ryan is incredible and it really shows in this exact performance.
History Lesson time! Gene Hoglan who’s featured on your Chanel back in sept 2020 left the band Death after meeting Devin to join his band which at the time was Strapping young lad. Worth checking out for sure! Think this with an overload of speed, aggression and Devin sporting the best haircut on the planet. Lol
Ps stoked this got unblocked! Such a good performance. Great to see your reaction 🤘
Chuck sure knew how to pick musicians.
Stoked this one came back out. Ryan Van Poederooyen is a great drummer. Been with Devin for years til only just recently.
He's awesome Quenton!!!
Devin is easily my favorite singer. I saw him with Strapping Youny Lad on ozzfest and his solo stuff along with that is just jaw dropping
I need to check out Strapping Young Lad Jordan!
Still remember the first time I saw this video. Such a huge production, huge sound, Devin's vocal range. The whole thing blew me away and made me seek out more stuff and info about him. Really a soundscape that is going on here. Really glad to see you do this one!
Devin Townsend is one of those artists who can make anyone feel connected to his music in a way that not many other artists can. This song in particular is incredibly powerful and always gives me goosebumps.
He also has a bunch of other projects, including Strapping Young Lad, The Devin Townsend Band, and his solo stuff, all ranging from extreme metal to melodic atmospheric stuff like this, and to ambient concept stuff.
He also has synaesthesia, and says he experiences music as colours and shapes, which is how he discovered his "wall of sound" style of recording and producing. He doesn't write music with any kind of musical theory in mind, he just writes what he feels.
Such an amazing artist.
It's hard to pick just about any "favorite all time _______" anything.
This is EASILY my favorite live performance of all time.
Great video. Thanks dude
Stunned.
When the final section comes in it always makes the eyes water,. despite the massive smile on my face!!
Thank you so much for this. I haven't heard of Devin before, and as a fellow Canadian I'm simply floored by this.
Yup me too. Stunning
Checkout the Ryan Van Poederooyen video "Transcendence Documentary - Episode Two" from Devin Townsend's channel. The guy has a great attitude :).
jealous you get to enjoy his back catalogue.
Devin Townsend is on another level. Fact.
Pure, raw emotion.
Devin Townsend has the best vocal range in metal. And he’s been mixing operatic vocals and screaming like that since he was a teenager. He’s found a way to operate at that level for decades. He’s also the current master of the “wall of sound” approach to production. For what he does, he’s the best there is. A previous album/tour featured Anneke Giersbergen lending her matchless voice as well. If you have the normal range of human emotion, Devin Townsend can wring you out like a wash rag.
Great comments.
Thank you
A good Devin Townsend video to check out is from his time in the band Strapping Young Lad. Look up the song 'Love?' from the Download Festival. It has the incredible Gene Hoglan on drums.
Thanks Don!
Gene Hoglan! The Atomic Clock! I met Gene opening for SYL in Cleveland. Super nice dude
Yes, exploding head… that was my first reaction to Devin’s voice, too :) Great reaction!
Insanity 🤯
7:12 no matter what concert you go to or look at there’s always that one guy wearing a pikachu outfit 😂😂😂
Need to see the live performance of "Grace" by Devin's production "The Retinal Circus"
🎉 You got devinized! 🎉
Dev released a full length Strapping Young Lad album only weeks before The Devin Townsend Band album Accelerated Evolution, which this song is taken from in 2003.
Basically writing and recording two absolutely killer albums concurrently.
Next level talent and dedication to his craft.
RVP for the MVP on this performance.
Thank God you finally met Devin Townsend! He's one of my fav musicians ever. And this song in particular is pure gold. His vocals!!!
I don't know anything about the technicalities of music but I really enjoy watching your videos. I love it when people who are not into metal react to it and can appreciate all the work behind. Cheers from Argentina!
Really not a "drum" track for reactions, but you nailed it: it's an emotional journey. One of the most impressive 10-out-of-10 songs I've ever heard in my life. It gave me chills the first time I heard it, and it gives me chills the 100th time.
hey Andrew, your reaction is a common one as this performance reduces me to tears every time. EVERY time.
This voice, …. Unique, I love him
Yes David!
WOW
Devin had a band called Strapping young Lad, he did a song called "Love", the drummer is Gene Hoglan, they call him the "Atomic clock", If you like being shocked, have a look...
Good morning from New England.. Well Andrew the Devin Townsend effect has taken hold lol..What Devin does and did in his prior band Strapping Young Lad is pure genius.. Enjoy your weekend..✌️✌️
Our Canadian Voldemort... This is the most powerful musical performance I´ve ever seen in my entire life. Every time I hear this song I get goose bumps all over, my eyes get all watery...the wall of sound is absolute mind blowing. Hevvy Devvy is a true genius in every possible way.
🙏🤘🤘🤘👍from France
Everything Devin does is special, the brilliance of his music is hard to put into words but I think the best way I could describe it is 'evocative'. He takes you on a journey.
100k sub plaque gonna look sweet over the shoulder there soon!
Great reaction to a great tune, never gets old seeing this song get reacted to
Yeah banger tune!
Ive been lucky enough to grow up with Devins music as i first heard him at 15 in Strapping Young Lad and my mind was absolutely blown im now 37 and his music has been a constant throughout my life.
I really love watching people react to Devin. In all his projects over the years he is ahead of the curve.
The best part of this concert was the three song block of funeral, bastard and the death of music, what an experience
Pick a tempo 😂
I forgot to mention, prior to Devin Townsend Project he was in Strapping Young Lad. There's a cool video for Almost Again that includes the sick beats of The Atomic Clock (Gene Hoglan).
THANK YOU!
@@AndrewRooneyDrums Have you done a Gene Hoglan reaction yet? If so, I'll give it a look.
@ Andrew Rooney drums..Devin Townsend is a mixture of rock, metal, symphony, choir, orchestra, classical to me from what he expressed musically. It’s so many influences and genres you hear in his music. This particular album is one of his best..if not his best.
Been awhile since I have watched a video. Super glad you are still up to it!
Welcome back Greg!
Kingdom - Live at EMG.
The video I've watched more than any other in the history of the internet.
Over and over and over.... and it just keeps getting deeper.
Us DT fans have all been there, the first time finding Devin is like finding peace at the top of a mountain! Man is a legend!
3:42 The grunge era. Devin was already making music then! Sex and religion, a Steve Vai record, came out in 1993! The first Strapping Young Lad album, basically a solo project at that time, came out in 1995. Mr Townsend has had quite a long and illustrious career! It's good to see him do so well after all this time.
That was a pretty wild performance! So well put together.
The Drummer is Ryan Van Poederooyen
Yes I did a vid on him after this.
This is a very old vid I did that recently got unblocked :)
The drummer is Ryan Van Poederooyen. My favourite drummer of all time. Check out his drum cam videos, they are amazing (song Supercrush, for example). Use of the whole drumkit on that song is just mindblowing.
Late to the game but this song, no matter how many times I hear it gives me goose bumps.. Dude is a master at what he does.
Yup goosebumps
‘Sorry, I needed to take a break.’

This song is such a journey!
Welcome to the Epic of Devin Townsend!
Then there is aaaaall of the rest of hos discography, witch also is a ginormous musical journey, from the redicoulus, through the ludacris to the dead serious. From the absolutely beautiful to the horrific beast!
Genious!
I was a big big fan of Strapping Young Lad growing up, I think was around 10 when I first heard of them, none the wise years later than Devin did his project.
Numbered is now my favourite song of all time, there's a live performance from 2014 and Anneke's voice is so beautiful, it could make me cry how beautiful that song is!
One of my hero, a genius crazy guys with several brain
I cant get over how, even though he chides the audience for their lack of tempo, and he even goes to show them the beats to clap on, he comes back down and keeps playing. And all throughout, you can see on his face how much he loves this. The song is potentially painful, but he loves this, and I think that rubs off onto the crowd.
Oh man! Wait until you fall down the Devin Townsend rabbit hole.
Vai days to SYL with hoglan to the side projects and concepts, I am not exaggerating when I say Devin is probably my musical hero. Just browsing his wiki is not enough to explain what this man has done,
A few key points though,
The man has had some demons, ziltoid… comedy genius, hoglan, his quarantine concerts, hoglan, GENESIS, light up guitars, hoglan.Korn the band overhearing him in the recording studio and saying it was the heaviest shit they had ever heard.
Enjoy the rabbit hole my friend,
A good contrast and start for this journey would probably be detox or OMFG
Glad you experienced Heavy Devy! He's another rabbit hole.
Seen Devin on the Steve Vai Sex and Religion Tour He brings out total emotion out all his songs drummer did a great job but Devin a true original artist Great ⛏️⚒️pick
The original clip of this song is the best !! Devin is special...!!
I got to see Devin play this when he opened for Dream Theater in Oslo. Pretty much my highlight of the entire show. You're not kidding when you say "sort of emotional". :)
Crazy awesome stuff Tom. WOW
Devin has one of the best clean vocals and scream vocals in metal. Screaming actual notes with such control is unprecedented. Check out his old band Strapping Young Lad, and the song "Love." You may also appreciate the Atomic Clock behind the kit.
That intro though with the meme and "angelic Devin", I'm crying tears. 🤣🤣
Very relatable!!
I just found you and not sure if you ever got to listen to the band MEUTE from Hamburg/Germany. An electronic music marching band - with percussions as well. Love them.
Glad I found you through Devin, you seem like one awesome dude! ✌🏻
Much love from Switzerland. 😊
As a drummer, you would surely appreciate the work Devin did with Gene Hoglan. Some of the stuff they did on City or The New Black (as Strapping Young Lad) is absolutely stunning
YES YES YES, this was a reaction......I was the same bro about a year ago, how is it that I haven't heard of him til now? I think I popped into a different time line or something....who else is out there that I haven't heard of that kicks this much a$$?...."Kingdom" is crazy too..."Funeral" (the acoustic version his heart wrenching, the electric version is numbing), "Bastard" is another banger "The Death of Music" completes what is called his trilogy along with the previous two. I'm still exploring his stuff, so cool.
Andy bro! If you liked Devie, check out “Kingdom”! Please do a review of “Kingdom”! Super badass song, all around! Love ya bro!
Hey Andrew, brilliant reaction. Devins songs are proof that drummers don't need to be super fast or have to have flashy fills to be amazing drummers.
Absolutely correct Robert!
Devin Townsend is simply incredible, and he always surrounds himself with wonderful musicians. I bet you would like to see the Devin Townsend Project perform Stormbending live at Plovdiv, the drums are super fun in that song.
Those bass drum heads are awesome!
Saw Devin do an acoustic set a few years ago and it was just as powerful! Huge talent.
"This song is such a journey."
Mate, Devin Townsend is a journey. Welcome to the rabit hole that never ends lol
Incredible Mason 🙌
That was awesome, thanks Andrew
Devy's such a breath of fresh air, and it's not just the music he give to us.
His overarching theme seems to be one of introspection and growth, his life journey and battles with mh have been deconstructed into his music and channelled to be a cathartic release.
His live performances are also HEAVILY interspersed with humour and self-deprecation.
His range of style is phenomenal, you'll think you've heard it all and then you're presented with something that wouldn't be out of place in a Rogers and Hammerstein or Disney production.
And the best thing is it never feels out of place.
His authenticity shines through in everything he does, and it's a pure joy to relive with every watch and listen.
You'll LOVE the audio-visual cavalcade of his extravaganza performance 'The Retinal Circus', or the heavy free-form (to a pre-determined pattern) of the Empath set with luminaries like Morgen Agren behind the kit.
GREAT comment.
Thank you for this
Lovin it again. Worth checking out Danny Carey playing with Rush at the Taylor Hawkins tribute.
Well, Devin you say.... There once was a band called Strapping young lad. They had this little song called: Love. You might enjoy that one as it shows you where Devin was as an artist before he lost his hair.
Sounds good. I need to check out all his stuff
I dont get how i never saw that upload before. Glad i saw it!!
Got unblocked!!
@@AndrewRooneyDrums so when a video gets unblocked it doesnt appear in our feed? I never thought about it.
@@julien2231 YES! They just come unblocked. You have to dig around a bit :)
@@AndrewRooneyDrums glad i looked around then!!
You have to do Funeral, Bastard and The Death of Music triple from the same concert. If Deadhead got you emotionally, those three together will floor you completely. Of course the drumming is exceptional!
I dont know if it has been mentioned already but Devin has synesthesia. So if music like this is intense to us imagine how intense it must be for him
🤯
Now time to do the Funeral/Bastard/Death of Music combo from the end of the same gig. They're all from his first solo album and the sheer emotion of the tracks is enough to bring me to tears. A true experience.
