This was a nice surprise! Babs did an amazing job, I wish we could have heard live commentary during Orphan of Kos haha PS I’m one of those people who struggled on Laurence more than Orphan 😂
@@Babza_JrI can imagine, those chalice bosses can be frustrating, especially the later ones and don’t even get me started on the bell lady calling those spiders!
I've done this like five times and it's fun every time. Scythes are always my favorite weapons in both fromsoft games and souls likes, and the burial blade has to be my favorite.
I really adore how much your wife features in your videos, it's so wholesome and refreshing to see such love pour its way into your content. Keep up the good work man
Hot damn, apparently I need to git gud because I *still* struggle to clear Ludwig and Orphan in fewer than 10-20 tries even going in with knowledge and experience. Well done! Always lovely to see more weapons that can troll Amygdala, too.
The burial blade is probably my favorite weapon in the game. I always like scythe weapons, especially when they’re actually good, and feel nice to use. It’s awesome.
This game's scythe is my favorite out of all the soulsborne games. I love the old, rickety, and intimidating look of it. That, and the transformation sequence is so satisfying.
I was surprised about something in Elden Ring too. If you summon Latenna and a random Dire Wolf goes near her; she climbs onto it and is able to move around.
Would love to see a beast claw only some time as a nice parallel to the kos run. Also so its fun seeing ur wife hunting beasts. (only a little in so far can wait to see how she does in the dlc)
Omg I'm in love with this idea. I hope you inspire more people to do this. Inexperienced player with a busted weapon series. It's actually fun watching novice player learn and improve. 10/10 video!
Laurence is harder for me because I lack of patience. He has killed me the most due to not being able to parry a giant beast. Also, took me a while to learn his second phase attack pattern, but in my first run, died the most to orphan, indeed.
Ahh, the dance song playing during the Kos fight really took me back... It's been years since I've heard that in a club, but it feels good to know it's still a BOP!
you know having babz playing actually makes the title more accurate. because most of us aren't as experienced in this game as JK so this is really a can YOU beat video. edit: nvm babz is apparently the god of souls games.
That's actually awesome that you're wife has never played bloodborne before. My best friends girlfriend wants to try bloodborne, and Elden Ring and my friend asked me to be her online tutor to help her learn the ropes. I've got a run suggestion for you if you're interested too.
@JKLeeds can you beat Lords of the fallen 2023 with just a stick? It's an item that you can get pretty early on but it's after the first actual boss (a player can actually get summoned in and drop the stick for you before you face the tutorial boss, that way you won't "invalidate the run") it can be upgraded to +10. And once you get a certain armor set towards the middle to late game, it will have a percentage chance to apply a status effect, depending on how many times you've pet a dog.
@JKLeeds the game itself isn't too terribly long. And it has a NG+0 feature so the enemies and such don't get harder if you want to just familiarize yourself with it, using a leveled up character. I know you probably have a ton of runs lined up, but I thought I'd suggest one just in case. Regardless I love your content and puns!
Recently I've become quite fond of long two handed weapons. My funnest playthrough of Bloodborne was Hunter's Axe which I primarily used the halberd form. Burial Blade also scratched the same itch of long sweeping weapon.
Tbh, I already know the Burial Blade rocks. It's been my comfort weapon since the end of my first playthrough because the dodge attacks and rally are Great One tier, and it limb breaks fairly well for a skill weapon. I just wanted to see how you'd make it wild. Keep up the good work. 😂
Love the burial blade, my favourite weapon always grab it from the chalice dungeons as soon as possible, my favourite thing to do is grab the old hunter bone and spam the dodge attack
Its always more about the journey that the destination. The destination will be victory, but the pain, torment, suffering, sleepless nights, fetal position sessions, and other such adventures are really what make it special.
18:57 i was about to say if you tell me she first tried this it was abouta be hands cause even with a character built to the max in ye old cummfpk i died like twenty times to this thing
And here I thought that the axe has an insane rally potential. Guess, there are not so many weapons in this game that allow trade hits so boldly with almost any enemy and most of the bosses (and this gives me sort of a clue on how or why did Gehrman lose his leg lol).
Also, the backstep attack is pretty fun and I've caught people with it before. My build at the time had been a... I think it was toxic... Build for the scythe. It was my favorite weapon when i got it.
Let’s see how this casual does

idk if you’ve done this, but an interesting idea could be beating bloodborne with only two-handed weapon L2 attacks
Church Pick L2 only. I want to see suffering.
Pizza Cutter: you were doing that anyways.
I remember a run where I got a burial blade from the chalice dungeons. Such a fun run. The rally health gain on that is insane.
I expect the next Bloodborne video to be how to beat the game using only Pebbles. Anything that does damage, after all.
Great video! That was a beautiful Orphan fight for a beginner!
She smashed it to be fair
