I personally prefer Home Free they are very humble, great guys who respect people.Their harmonies are top notch and for them to classify as a Country group without typical Country instruments is amazing. They also ( for now ) have 3 amazing songwriters in the group Tim ( lead this song ) Chance and Austin ( who be leaving in the fall ) so their is no shortage of original music😊
Friday they are releasing Vincent ft Don McLean
The third a cappella group is probably Voiceplay. I have heard the three groups described like this: Pentatonix is the choir kids; Voiceplay is the musical theater kids; Home Free is the kids out in the parking lot singing and having a party. All of the groups are very talented musicians, but I'm definitely headed to the parking lot. They are very genuine and always make the music the focus - not themselves.
New subscriber. You're going to love #homefree. In a word, they're more down-home than the other a cappella groups. I love that you appreciate Tim's voice so much. Check out their "In the Blood." Tim and Adam Chance and Rob all have great solos and the harmony is out of this world.
I think these guys did a great cover of Randy Travis' song especially with Tim taking the lead. What I love about Home Free is how respectful they are of the original song without adding unnecessary things. No theatrics or bass drops. Just beautiful singing & harmonies with Adam adding his special touch. I agree Adam is in a league by himself. His vocal percussion is the best out there. I thought it was cute when Tim sung about hair turning grey & he looked up at his own hair.
Authenticity is a good word to describe Home Free. The other word is relatable. Plus, they can sing and harmonize like nobody's business! So, yes, I prefer HF.

I greatly prefer Home Free over PTX or Voice Play. I prefer their choice of music and their style of singing. I saw them live last week and they are amazing in concert.

The other thing about the Home Free guys is not only do they always produce a fantastic vocal performance, but they are also funny goofy guys and lean into that in their videos so there are often funny videos to accompany a great vocal performance. You should try Workin For a Living, Brother or the Butts Medley for one of the funny videos.

Home Free brings a genuine emotional feel to their performances we "Fries" love. Adam Rupp is a master beat boxer/vocal percussionist. Home Free for me!
Home Free is the best and they have super great concerts. Next, I like Voice Play and then PTX. Have to have my Home Free fix once a day. Some songs I have watched nd listened to ove 50 times.

For a young singer songwriter worth a listen, find Faouzia doing her take on “Fur Elise (Live Performance)”.
Listen to cover of Eagles' Seven Bridges Road; then do a funny one, i.e. Make You Feel My Love ; then a patriotic one, and then 200+ more.
Chance was singing bass while Tim was singing lead. That's what makes them great. They have 5 tenors, 5 beatboxers and 2 bass/baritones. Any of the four main singers can take the lead. Adam Rupp has a beautiful tenor but prefers to sing backup when he's not beatboxing. How Great Thou Art has a short solo for Adam in it: I would recommend this video if you want to see magnificent mountain scenery to go with a beautiful hymn.
