M y King quad 400 sat for about 3 years due to a bad fuel pump and dealer wanted 700 bucks to fix it so we drove our other ATV's around the farm. When I finally got some time to fix the fuel pump myself ( cost about 80 bucks for a rebuild kit from e bay ) and it started right up ( new gas of course ) . Impressed me when it started right up and driving it ever since again. . 5000 miles on it. Thanks for posting.

Intresting on the decelerator. I thought the unit would stop because of the adjusting of the parking brake rear butterflies were too tight. I bought a 2019 Suzuki 400 asi and The parking brake was squeezing a like a clutch it was super loose so I tinkered with it, not a big fan of that parking brake because it's not like the other side which is hydraulic. I had to Jack up the rear tires and adjust the butterfly's to were you can move the wheels by hand there's a certain sweet spot to where the tires will barely move by hand. Then I adjusted the loose park brake handle like you would on a bicycle.

A friend of mine who I ride with has a Honda 420. It's pretty much the identical size, engine included. I believe the price is about the same also. Do you have a 420? Or are you looking to buy a quad?

To be honest both Honda and Suzuki are fantastic ATV manufactures. The guy that I mentioned who I ride with had his rancher upside down is a half frozen creek, with the water flowing all threw it. The plastic panels got ripped off and it looked all jacked up but the dam thing still ran perfect. Even thought I bought this quad less than two years ago I have beaten on it a descent amount, but you couldn't tell. The trails I ride on are all rock and roots. Suzuki motors have a reputation of being unable to be killed. Another friend of mine who I ride with, his family owns a old Suzuki 250 from either the early or mid 90's, I cant remember. That quad has been rolled over, fully submersed and crashed into trees. Believe it or not, but it still runs perfect, it looks shitty, but that's to be expected (haha). If I was you man, go out and by that Suzuki, you wont regret it!

A-Z Tech they both are great. The Honda engine puts out more low end torque, and has better fuel injection system. The Suzuki has much better shocks/suspension setup, and you can choose automatic or semi automatic. They both a great machines! Both will last for a very long time!
