I'm currently making the panther G model Kaja made, but this video does such a good job showing more in depth how to assemble the lower hull and the gearbox which I'm very thankful for. Love your content!
Very nice build!! So the Cults3d files includes everything to build the tanks he has, minus the electronics of course. I really want to build after watching you for about a year or so. I know there’s kits out there but smaller scale. These 1/10th tanks are awesomely massive. Thanks for info!
Thank you! The manual is very informative and states everything you need, nuts, bolts, motors, servos, drive belts, ball bearings etc. The manual says 20T motors but I went with 55T instead. Its a fairly easy model to build. 👌
Hello again, I gather there are some changes to this video and the parts that are to be printed, example at 14minutes 6 seconds in this video you are able to put your fingers in through the hatch and turn the mesh cover. this is not possible in the final print and also the mesh cover is different ?
I like this format where you do guest builder video. I know more work for you, but really enjoy seeing others' builds, esp in that side of world. Your vids are always excellent quality!
Thanks, man! Valuable feedback.👍 I also thought that this - making your own large scale 3D-printed tank with bought files - would make a nice compliment to my own scratch builds. Nice to hear it was appreciated! Martin provided me with great video material, so a lot easier than making my own build videos. 😊
Thats a very good idea to make spacing between the gears and use belt to turn them👍by doing it like that u wont have much if any ware to the gears over time. Because i dont think the rubber belts r going to effect the plaste gears. Supper cool video and build
I have almost completed the Panther but have come across a killer problem for me my 3d printer build volume is 256x256x256 and the last parts in the HULL section 21L and 22P are just that little bit too big for my printer and both being single STL files even althogh there is five panels in the file they cannot be seperated the issue is the gaps between four of the five panels are just that little bit to wide, does any one have these in seperate or single files ? They ar the panels that cover the tracks on each side it would be much appreciated .
Hi, you should be able to cut any part up in the printer slicer, and then just glue them together when they are done, but I'll ping in Martin since it's his build.
Aloha! I see now that the Panther and the JagdPanther don't have the same number on the hull parts. Is it the back wall or is it the engine deck? In the JagdPanther files you have a choice, there is a file for the complete part and there is a cut part with two files so you can print and glue them together. Or as Mr Wikander says, you can cut the part in the slicer. Hope this helps. 👌
What battery type are using and would recommend, Lopo or nicadd? I’ve almost finished printing my tank (maybe 100 0r so hours to go) and would like to know what you generally use?
Part 6 (belt wheel) is connected to the motor with two M3 screws and nuts. Or do you mean the PETG X-shaped thing? The part number is 8-2X PET-G and is found in the Gear section. Hope this helps. 👌
Aloha! I have a Flashforge Adventurer 4 and an Anycubic Kobra Neo, which both worked almost 24/7 printing parts. It took 5 weeks to make it a complete functional tank. I used ca 7 kilo filament. I'm not sure how much it cost, but around 500-600 € with everything. Thank you for watching. 👌
great built!! I have the files too, but they have to wait a bit as I am printing a SU-122 in 1/10. But tanks in this scale are quite big :D cool video again
Yeah, this is so cool! If you have the interest, I highly recommend investing in a 3D-printer. You don't need to know any CAD when the files are available, as in this case. Yes, it is a Cent, or Strv 105, that is coming together. 😊
I have a couple of questions please, I am unable to work out what a "10x Classic mother" is or for that matter what "M3 - Mother 60x Classic" are and when I try and buy the motor drive belts they ask what length are the belts so so info on these items would be very much appreaciated. Other than these questions I am very impressed with the build quality. Cheers

This is awesome! 😎 Could you also give a link for that 3D printer please? Just found my next project😀 Are the bolts, screws, pulleys etc. supplied as part of the manual with links to buy?
Hi! The printer is an Anycubic Cobra Neo. As for the model, you have to get the hardware yourself, but it is listed in the manual what things you need. Thanks for watching!
Hi, this model is built by a friend of mine and the 3d-files is bought from Kaja18 over at Cults3D.com. Not sure what he I using for software. I draw my own models in FreeCad.
Hey there, I am really trying to find an L3/33 RC Tankette but I cannot find it anywhere. Would making something like that even be possible?, since it is quite a small tank(ette)
That's a cool tank! Yes, I don't see why not. 🙂 A friend of mine made an awesome Universal Carrier in 1/6 scale, driven by a single 18 V electric drill and with tracks from a 1/16 Tiger. It's roughly the same size as an L3. Check out my other videos to see it in action.
Hi! PLA is sensitive to heat and sun, so I'm trying to be careful when outside and keep the models in the shade when not driving. Best would probably be ASA, but it's more demanding to print. So far it works great, and I'm guessing that almost-solid track links is pretty sturdy, even in PLA+. PETG would also work, I'm sure. It's a bit more flexible and squeaky than PLA+.
