Incredible craftsmanship. Beautifully built. I was a driver with the 1st jagers te paard, alfa 22 of the Belgian army. I have always enjoyed driving the Scimiar.

Hey there, first of all I just wanted ant to say that what you’re doing is absolutely amazing and I’m enjoying every second of your videos! I just couldn’t help but notice some artefacts on the print at 9:57 which I’m guessing were caused by Low wall count and infill to save some print time. You might already know this but since your friend printed them I’ll say it anyways if it can help, you can print the walls before the infill (usually a check mark in the slicer) and they should disappear saving you some sanding time! (On the other hand, overhangs might look a bit worse):)
Hi! Thanks a lot for watching and for the very kind words! Yeah, I think you are right - I'm not sure how many layers my friend used, but I'm guessing not more than 2. I'm not seeing this appear on parts with 3 layers or more. Anyway, huge thanks for the tip, it will definitely come in handy in the future!
Have you considered using a filament for the tracks that matches the final look? maybe a black, brown or rust color would look good I think. The light grey is ok but I feel like if a different option is equally cheap its worth the try and may look better
I did some weathering of the tracks a few years ago to, as you say, make them a bit rusty and worn. Just haven't got around to do it again. I think that a good thing with gray tracks is that if you paint then rusty, they paint gets worn and the brighter grey shines through, as metal does on a real vehicle.

@@davepriddy9263 Hi! That's right, I usually protect the plywood hull on the underside with a sheet of aluminum. I didn't do that on the 105, however... I think I skipped it since the bottom board was 28 mm thick.
Hello friend, thank you in advance for all the tips you have been giving me. As I don't understand painting, I would like to know why you paint everything gray before the final painting? Is this gray paint a regular paint?
Hi, no problem! The gray paint is either the aluminum primer that is needed to prime aluminium before painting, so that the paint sticks and don't flake, or it's spray putty that I use to give the 3d-printed surfaces a smoother look. It also works as a foundation so that the real paint looks the same on all places of the model when it is applied.
