Any type of ID that's listed here should work, but if you're working for a university, then it wouldn't hurt to include your employee ID, or any other acceptable form of ID that directly shows your connection to the university!

Unfortunately, it's not guaranteed that Facebook or Instagram will approve your application. As long as you are following all the steps and uploading the right documents, all you can do is try again every so often. Great question! There's no hard and fast rule for this, because verification is based off of the requirements they set. The main thing is that you must be a notable figure that is highly searched. That being said, you're more likely to get the blue badge if you have several thousand followers or more, because that can help indicate your notability.

And so depending on the content of these blogs, you may need to build up your references elsewhere before applying. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this! Our first suggestion would be to make sure that your app is up-to-date. Logging out and relaunching the app might help too. If those don't work, you may have to reach out to Instagram support to see if they can fix the issue.
Sometimes it takes a few tries to get verified, but that's alright! The biggest thing that keeps people from getting verified is the notability requirement. According to Instagram, this requirement means that "Your account must represent a well-known, highly searched for person, brand or entity. We review accounts that are featured in multiple news sources, and we don't consider paid or sponsored media content as sources for review." Double check that your business meets this requirement, as well as the other requirements, and hopefully Instagram will verify your account next time!
