This was me and one of my good friends favorite band. He overdosed on heroin after relapsing. He was clean for two years. This song really reminds me of him. Rest in Peace John.

Awesome! I think their latest album is one of their best, mainly because they've matured and they keep making music with a unique voice, this album is up there for me with "Tell all you friends" but this time it is from a man with thoughts of reflection, it's honest, it's real, and it shows.
Agree 100 percent. Still my favorite TBS album to this day. Not that 152 doesnt rock as well.
the album version ( of any of their songs ) are good, but I always enjoy listening to their live stuff.

"Their voices aren't up".. Guess you never listened to old TBS.. back when they were what? 15 when Adam wrote Cute Without the E(Cut from the Team)... so.. just think about that. They sound like adults not, shit is still and always will be simply amazing. Go listen to your auto tune "artists".
So much wrong with that statement. Adam was an adult... seeing as how he flew out from NC to NY to join TBS haha. He was 18 or 19.
Thank you...I mean you're obviously a fan so it's okay, but for the sake of the old schoolers..please refrain from pulling numbers out of your ass when trying to defend the band. It makes it worse. lol. He was 18 when Cut was written .
Adam was very much an adult when that album was recorded, not to mention that he pretty much had the same voice until at least 2007. Cigarettes have simply taken their toll on his vocal chords. Also, John still sounds the same.
Am I saying they're bad now? No, but saying that this is because of their age is dumb. TBS has always done acoustic performances lightly (like the CWtE on the TAYF Re-issue). They have simply changed their style. TBS used to be an alternative band with punk influences, when they would open for bands like Box Car Racer. Now they've gone the folk rock route. It has nothing to do with age.
With the vocals imagine a remix!
