It demands one who is worthy. The Echo seeks another wielder. With those like Skolas for his pawns, false life for an army of the slain. But it sees now how Fikrul wields this power.... Strength to guide the scattered through a time of doubt and wrath. It seeks an old strength. Sings of Riis, through our memories. It is the echo that sings to us, Guardian. The Echo... But... hmm. Variks does not recognize the singer. A seeking song for the lost. A Whirlwind dirge. The song. Hmm. The Fallen House of Wolves, led by Skolas the Rabid. Years of hubris and bloodshed. Memory of Reef Wars, long ago. Do you see it, Guardian? Hmm. Skolas... he lives!
Damn. The cutscene reversed hits deep. Imagine you’re living at the peak of your civilization only for everything to be instantly destroyed by some entity at a higher plane of existence. There was a desperate attempt to flee, but almost all of your kind is dead, and what’s left of you possibly find a new home, and a hiding spot only to be attacked and enslaved by the Awoken.
Yeah…the reef war wasn’t really a war, it was the awoken needlessly attacking a race before that race could even explain itself Makes sense though, awoken were humans and it’s natural for humans to attack or fear the unknown
To be fair to the Awoken here the House of Wolves was mustering to join the rest of the Houses to attack the City, not hiding out, which is why Mara attacked them.
The Fallen very much attacked the Awoken first. Mara tolerated them as servants with rights after they tried to raid & genocide her people, civilians and children alike.
it wasn't a hiding spot, the reef wars happened because the house of wolves tried to join the fallen at the battle of twilight gap and mara decided to step in and sacrifice the awoken's secrecy so humanity wouldn't be wiped out
The Eliksni have some of the best lore, im actually excited about the way the story is going with this season.

Eramis is gonna end up with the Echo, I'm calling it now

“Somehow, Skolas returned”.
Somehow???? Necromancy boy. Simple as that. Oryx would NOT be happy
Moreso, that Skolas was the last character I expected to see revived.
Maybe It's just me, but I'm liking this season.
@@davidgalindez4856 not the only one
Phenomenal! This was how I imagined that scene this way.
Thanks for this I was wondering how it would’ve looked reversed great job!
Excellent work.
this is fucking sad man :(
its pretty cool cause that's actually how the cutscene was made then they reversed it
Not necessarily
God I hope that somehow eido ends up with the echo.
Nah, I’d win.
