Too Fat Polka

Composed by Ross MacLean and Arthur Richardson. This was a huge polka hit on the Arthur Godfrey radio show in 1947. The title is not PC (politically correct) but it's still a really fun polka to play. Frankie Yankovic, America's Polka King,reintroduced this in the 60s as another big hit out of Cleveland's Slovenian polka tradition.

as I said above, it's not very PC but still a hoot to hear and I'm sure to dance to. Glad you enjoyed it! Your parents were probably raised a family during Lawrence Welk's popularity on TV!
