@@YourWellnessNerd so far rather good! Feel straighter already! Mind you, this is only Day One! But I’ve a good feeling about this! I’ll keep you posted! Thanks again!
I found this video really helpful! And I greatly appreciate the time you took in the beginning to address the genetic component (which applies to me, as I have Scheuermann's syndrome). I once read about a geneticist who made the same argument you made, only he spoke about IQ/intelligence: Even if there is a genetic "ceiling" to someone's cognitive abilities, nobody knows what their limit is. Each person should attempt to find their limit, and try to learn as if there was no limit. I'll do the same for my spine. Thank you very much
We’ll said! The modern world has so much covert influence over our day to day health and wellness that it’s impossible to understand what can and cannot be altered until we act and then see what’s left over!
@@YourWellnessNerd Indeed. I've subscribed to your channel, right now I'm looking through all the videos that might be relevant to me. Are you available for 1-on-1 online physiotherapy sessions? Due to the specific spine curvature that I have, I probably need some advice tailored specifically to me.
Thanks for this video. I am hoping my PT person will do some of these with me. I have terrible neck pain I believe due to nerve ablation almost 1 yr. ago on my neck. Right after the nerve ablation I have pain I never ever had before in my neck which has remained for this last yr. I am now on serious pain meds. Also being an older woman with serious AS, FM,OA I can't B on the floor or sit as I see U sitting. I'm trying to figure out a way to do the 2nd exercise with the stretching band. I have never seen a black one. I am wondering how resistant a blk. band might B? I shall see if my PT Dr. will do some of these with me. Not sure how I developed the forward head so severe, but since the nerve ablation I have unrelenting neck pain. I am going to try for some botox injections in my shoulders by someone who knows how to do them safely so I don't end up with difficultly swallowing. I will try the twisting as I have done this before, but I do it standing or sitting on a chair not on the floor. I wouldn't B able to easily get up again. Maybe try some videos for disabled elderly folks who can't sit cross-legged on the floor as U R doing or lie on the floor either. Just my old people thoughts about showing those who also need this since many of use have this issues & problem. Thanks again!
Really helpful video thank you. Any advice for when I correct my posture, it hurts! I can only hold it for a couple minutes. Is this just a strength issue that I need to work on? It's definitely held me back on fixing this issue.
No worries Lyra! I can't comment specifically on your symptoms, but from a general standpoint one of the main reasons why someone finds it uncomfortable to try and get back into a more optimal posture can be the presence of stiffness. Stiffness can be a consequence of less than perfect postures and also make it hard to get back through it again when trying to correct it.
Very useful! I also liked the style of presentation - cheerful and fun! Thanks!
Appreciate it Hugh! Hope the information helps!

@@Pechanni I can, but unfortunately I’m on the move for the next month or so. Would some time in the new year still potentially work?
@@YourWellnessNerd Yes that would still work. Do you have a website or link where I can book you?
@@YourWellnessNerd Yes that would definitely work. Where can I reach you and see your rates?
Genuinely hope this helps you straighten up a little!
