The sumo sure did quiet the bark, but the ronin and shogun to my hears sounded the same. Would be nice to see a comparison with different brand moderators if financially possible.
Hello. Great information these. Dit you use a pcp caliber .30 to shut this test with ?? I have a air ventury pcp that has the ability to connect the Danny FL adapter and moderator on it.. Thas the two other moderator you show connect on the same adaptar the Danny FL have. ?
Sir do you recommend the use of Donnyfl Fatboy 2 Moderator in .177 air rifle with 500mm barrel, shooting at average 940fps. Will Fatboy 2 be effective and softened the sound from muzzle.
modern cameras compensate for sudden changes in sound levels... so you aren't going to get a good idea of the sound anyway. That's why they have a decibel reader...
Stock = 110.8
Sumo (1.6 x 6.25) = 99.2
Ronin (2 x 6.25) = 97.8
Shogun (1.6 x 8) = 97.9

Somebunny neglected to summarize the results of the experiment...
I had the same result, with the shogun 97 decibels. Waste of money. Weihrauch XL I came to 86 decibels. Donnyfl nice advertisement, bad muffler
rock music in a moderators comparison video, come on... I just need to hear de sound, not the music, I have spotify for that.

I self-made one using hand-held electric tools.
