Hi Chi, could you do a specific video on wear for weddings? Specifically for mother’s of the bride & groom to include wear for all the events that surrounds a full formal wedding? Love all your videos!! 🥂❤️💐💃‼️
Hi Carrolle, yes definitely, I will be uploading videos on wedding style for petites very soon, stay tuned and subscribe to get a notice if you haven’t already:) My blog also has a wedding section for petite style- check it out: blog.petitedressing.com/petite-wedding-style/
You have so much talent and knowledge that I think you must be a designer. Is your degree in fashion design, and if so, from what university, if you don’t mind the questions, sweetie?
@@PetiteDressing My daughter is 5’4 also like you from a very young age she has follow designers and dresses so put together. Always stylish. I forget the name but she started following some old man designer. She really knows how to pick her fashion. She graduated in Visual Arts from Brown University smart kid too. She’s so awesome in every way. I have a son, he’s the youngest he studied at CaLArts music composition also likes to dress well and he’s tall with a deep voice which is nice for men.
I’m always surprised to see so many women wearing evening dresses that have 6” or more of fabric dragging on the ground. I’d be so afraid to trip, especially wearing higher heels than I’m used to, or that such an expensive item would get torn or dirtied beyond repair. This is such a weird trend for the last 20 years or so, and one that, I think, does no favors for petites. Just lightly brushing the floor is perfect.
Excess length front and sides, I meant, a train or demi-train is different, one’s unlikely to trip on, or catch a shoe in, it because we’re mostly moving forward, of course.
I have always feared same! I suppose the models have to kick the front of dress to avoid tumbling over? I can’t imagine having to carry so much extra length although some are gorgeous depending on the grace of model of course. So elegant!
The wrap around style is really nice on curvy ones like me. Shows off the waist and bust and they are just sexy! Oh someone here invite me to a dressy black tie to wear some nice dress. Lol! Or should we styling ladies organize a big gala to have fun showing our knowledge learned thanks to Chi. Merry Christmas! 🎄
Petite size is not only about height. Petite women, for example, tend to have shorter arms or the distance from the collarbone to the waist is also usually shorter.
I had no idea Emma Roberts was my height. I always thought she was medium size 😂

The met gala gowns are huge- the train need 3 guys to lift when walking!

Lobe this!!!

Merry Christmas! 🎄
What a wonderful idea! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
What about a Parisian slip dress? With a simple ivory color? Would that be okay?
It can work if you are thin. Slip dresses many are bias cut, tend to show every lump and bump, especially light color.
Petite Dressing I am thin, I should also note I’m 5’3”
I'm literally 5 feet djdbe
YEs I wear full length whenever I can inc casual wear...they look amazing on me.
Full length really flatters petites!
👍❤️❤️❤️
the statement necklace cuts you out shorter….better without
5'3 isn't petite
