@@damonlandry9129 to us it looks like additional oil circulation to help the vvt system. But also it’s a 2 piece design compared to standard so perhaps during RnD they figured something out that needed this compared to the stock 1 piece system - I wish I knew the correct answer!

What exactly does those lines going into the covers do? I’m starting to see more and more builds with them.
