There was a Tink and a Clara. We even joked about how similar Vork was to our guild leader. This show always makes me nostalgic and makes me wonder what my old guildmates have been up to.

@@yummychips_ brah...this came out at the height of mmo hype. WoW had 12 million subscribers, the most ever. WoW had commercials on regular TV. WoW was a part of the zeitgeist with Leroy Jenkins, South Park and Mr.T. this was the heyday of mmo's.
The sad reality is Hollywood doesn't understand that THIS is something that really goes well with most of us. Hopefully someone would do this though, I really miss the show and my only issue with it is that it was too short (because I loved it so much I wanted more).
I Think the best part of this show is how the characters are so out there, but at the same time, we all knew guild members exactly like each character. it was pretty relatable.

Yeah it sucks i was never once able to get into an mmo, or any kind of guild, most people around me when i was growing up played single player games like pokemon or yugioh cards, then moved to multiplayer sandbox games like minecraft, and i personally grew up with valve games so no mmo there, but i was very involved in tf2 trading, looking back trading in tf2 almost felt like trading in rune scape and other mmos
Try being in an MMO in the late '90s/early '00s. The games hold your hand like a toddler compared to what Everquest and Dark Age of Camelot did. There was so much grinding and guess work! Not sure how we survived back then, but we did. I guess the cost/reward ratio was better than we thought.
Watching this in 2020 makes me realise we need a new big MMO experience to hit us all again like WoW did back in 2004, something that everyone was playing
