The Stormender looks so futuristic but amusingly/scaringly enough it's based off a real weapon/tool that some militaries and leos use to shoot down drones.
@@achillelegrand1680 I think this could be that "EM1" unless it appeared as Stormender separately on the leaks... I say that mostly because the side profile kinda looked like the EM1
It's not based off a real weapon lmao. Actual anti-drone rifles are much larger and dont shoot lasers, but rather use undetectable, harmless electromagnetic waves to bring them down slowly.
And then you realize at 0:51, operator ejects the "empty" mag and it still has bullets in it... Although the inspect is really accurate. The bolt slightly moving back as it's unlocked is exactly how rotating-lock bolts work
I'm pretty sure it has to do with artstyle, MW2019 has a more gritty artstyle that was modern in the sense of how wars are fought now. While MWII and MWIII have a more sleek artstyle that’s modern in the sense of it being state-of-the art technologies and equipment.
just because there's something unrealistic or an animation error, that doesn't mean it's unplayable. unless if it impacts the way you shoot the gun then it is unplayable. but this ? lol the only thing that is negative about it is that it breaks immersion of using / operating a gun
The people at sledgehammer deserve some praise for Season 1. I wont lie, I had zero hopes for it but they went all out. For the first time ever I actually enjoyed the blackcell pass and the new weapons are pretty awesome as well. You have to remember, Activision is primarily responsible for what happened with MWIII - Sledgehammer got thrown under the bus HARD. They deserve a chance to bounce back.
Hold on.... I remember old stories of an under barrel flamethrower on the kalash. If I'm not wrong ( I might be totally WRONG ) it never worked out in the end.
Take this as a grain of salt because I'm not so sure. Sledgehammer was actually working on advanced warfare 2 but they canceled their project because of cold war, they needed to help treyarch to finish the game on time and they had to make mw3 too. They had 16 months to develop so it's pretty good but not perfect. Sledgehammer obviously adding their advanced warfare assets too
It's the opposite way around on the Cold War front, SHG and Raven were having issues with making their game so Treyarch had to come in to make Cold War using what SHG had complete. It's why the Campaign is so disconnected compared to the existing Black Ops story, it was never meant to be in Black Ops canon. They were in the process of making AW2 in conjunction with the MW2 expansion before they were then told they were making a full sequel, so all hands went to MW3.
