The M32/MGL does have one inaccuracy, besides the extreme (but not total) scarcity of speedloaders for it: The cylinder's spring must be manually wound up after each reload. For gameplay's sake, it is understandable.
i mean, considering the fact that the game is literally a tournament in a some kind of simulated reality, it is not only understandable, but it makes more sense to me personally

Have loaded and fired the Milkor MGL when I was in the army and the launcher is extremely awkward on its own to begin with. I can only imagine how terrible carrying and using giant speedloaders for a 40mm grenade launcher would be (they also wouldn’t even come close to fitting into any pouches)
Gotta admit, the fire from the flame thrower looks quite tame tbh. I think they ought to make it look more like a violent jet of flaming fuel. Other than that though, pretty damn good.

His RUclips channel features his works from when he was at DICE such as BF V and some of 2042’s animations. However if you look in his community tab he has also mentioned that he’s worked on the finals.
Another small detail I've noticed on the main menu where you can zoom in on your character.. if you listen closely, I could hear the sound of the character breathing through their nose. I thought I was hearing myself at first

@@kek621k I've played tons of shooters, which is why im not impressed with a game that works like decades old shooters, with visuals that don't even match, when we have tons of other games indie through to triple A that have upped the bar far beyond this dated gunplay. When it comes to the topic of the video, most of the animations are pretty generic, with the only exception I see being the shotgun based on the model 1887 action which goes above and beyond the rest.

the rpg has a minor flaw.. the hammer located at the rear of the from pistol grip is not cocked. if it was, if would be facing downward at an angle. thus meaning that unless the playermodel cocks the hammer outside of FOV before firing, it wouldn't be able to fire.. edit: I have now just realized that I was NOT the first to notice this and comment. I thought I would have been due to it being a minor detail, but apparently not.
i hate it when the animation team know what they are doing, the programer know what they are doing, but the game deginer dont. And just like that, all the hard work mean nothing
I mean it's alright but still could have better details. Such as more accurate RPG and smoother animations on some of the weapons including the baton. Take for example how smooth and satisfying the melee swinging animation look in Dying Light 1.

RPG is not primed to fire. Right behind the trigger there is a hammer that is in the up position. to prime the RPG you would need to push that down allowing it to hit the firing pin when you pull the trigger. The RPG is single action and in game it works as a double action. UNPLAYABLE
The animations are good, but there aren't 100% accurate. MGL's doesn't wind the cylinder back up, and the RPG doesn't reset the hammer. Also, they kinda went the "easy" route not having staggered reloads for the revolver and the MGL. They are definitely satisfying and crisp animations though!
@@DrugBatWell duh. The medium isn’t gonna somehow cram the speed loader into the pump action launcher to reload it faster. The gameshow gives the contestants the relevant ammunition and magazines based on the weapon they are using. The MG32 has it set to give the contestants speed-loaders to make it easier and faster to reload.
@@donovanjoseph737 medium wouldnt have a speed loader it would come in the form of a magazine. Really we are just splitting hairs here, the animations are the way they are for balance purposes. Just arguing the point that if your going to talk about attention to detail in reloading that many other games have no problem reloading individual spent rounds. Given you reload a full magazine after spending 2 rounds is lazy attention to detail. If the Mg32 did insane damage then it would make more sense to have the reload be manual and not with a speed loader for balance purposes.
RPG shouldn't really have recoil, given that it's effectively a recoilless rifle whose projectile has a rocket added on. The M32 would definitely have recoil IRL, though.

For an unseasoned animation team this is pretty good, however this video doesn’t do that justices, I’m serious for some reason this guy put together this games most lackluster reloads possible, almost every other animation in the game is better than this one

To be fair I've only ever seen one game do this, usually flamethrowers just shoot flaming gas in games.

Could be argued the animation team didnt do a good job on the gl reload. Realisticly you wouldnt use a speed loader to replace 2 spent rounds.
Maybe the characters don't carry single rounds or they can only Spawn speed loaders, remember that they are in a virtual competition
