The one thing i would ask over your design, not by changing the layout, is to add a gem to the hilt of the sword. That, in my opinion, would make the the ring stand out even more in its unique design.

Its really poetic watching your craft and the hands doing the magic. A more subtle music like a flute or a violin will be really soothing (Just a suggestion). BTW what about the scrap silver, it doesn't go to waste right ?

Always watch your videos an admire your thumb ring and wonder how I could make one, first I thought maybe I do a flat mold of a sword in cuttlefish bone and cast it an then forge it into a ring.. But then I finally found this video of you did it. Soo good man 👌 I could watch you videos for hours Scaffoal!!!

Thank you! I attempted to make the ring but need much more practice achieving the perception of depth in the hilt, and in the taper of the blade from the center. I started with 1.63mm depth and 10mm width. I start over using the new dimension.
Of you don’t mind, I’m going to try to make something like this for my husband. He really loves this ring and I’m a jeweler so I’m sure I can come up with my own version of this very cool ring.
