- The First Descendant is a new looter shooter that is set to come out on February of 2024. However, for a short time Nexon released an open beta for everyone to try out the game. Today's vid will be me playing the beta on the last day, as i was not aware of this game's presence until a good friend of mine pointed it out to me.

Nice video! If I had once piece of advice, not that you asked or probably care, it would be that it's a little over the top. It seems less authentic when you're playing up most of your actions. I do like some of the sound effects and cut ins like @9:33, but that's about as far as I made it. Just a bit too much for me.
I'm not a RUclips professional and not being a hater. I just figured you might want some input from someone who just stumbled across your channel. Production value and audio is great, but just bring it down a notch or two. Just be more you. I think you could turn this into a great side hussle or even a career. Even with what you got right now, and this being the only video I watched, I was surprised you don't have more subs. Anyways, thanks for the gameplay video. Wish you the best!
Comments like yours is such a rarity, I've always wanted to see actual criticism every now and then. Thanks for the feedback, I'm just a little confused because I feel like I WAS my authentic self the whole vid. I also find it interesting that you find my editing to be "too much" because i honestly wish I did more. Not that you have to of course, but i would recommend that you check out some of my other vids to get a taste of what I'm like to see if you wanna stick around. Regardless, I appreciate you dropping by and thanks for insight. I'm always trying to improve on things, maybe I can try to "turn it down a notch". That's big maybe though lol

@@angryduckling the game has had connection issues for several hours throughout the day. Xbox was down yesterday, game had to go into maintenance today to sort some pretty horrendous server issues. However, that just means free compensation rewards!

I like to hate on Destiny as much as the next guy, but saying this game will kill Destiny has to be one of the most delusional things I’ve seen in quite some time (and that’s saying something considering there are people who still scream that the Acolyte is a good show 😂).
I’ve played Destiny off and on since the D1 beta in 2014. And I’ve been playing the First Descendant as well. The FD is way too repetitive and grindy, with too many P2W and pay for convenience systems to ever be good. I’m already growing extremely bored of the same one or two mechanics repeated ad nauseam in the game. And that’s a very bad thing considering people are already hitting this feeling only a few days after release.
I’ve played other looter shooters as well like Borderlands, Outriders, Division, and Warframe. The FD repeats too many of the mistakes of prior games and doesn’t do enough new stuff to keep people around. Add in the insane grind that is already becoming evident with the “swipe your credit card to skip this” option already rearing its ugly head, and this game is going nowhere fast.
And what’s up with all the bots already filling the comments section? Makes you look really desperate, lol.
@@mriguy7989 I mean... its definitely a reach but never say never. Destiny is just now reaching its "end" with the latest update, and I can see this game adding more to what's already there which might attract some destiny players or just more looter shooter fans in general. I'll admit, I didnt get that far into TFD to see all the faults, but i definitely agree about the scummy in-store items
Btw I have no idea why bots are just flooding in all of sudden, and im just now learning how to get rid of them. I guess you can tell I'm still new at this, huh? 😂

F2P. End of story. I played it about an hour-ish before I got kicked off and it won't reconnect at the moment. It was fun and looked great. Felt a bit like Anthem's open world, although I can see the comparison to Destiny for sure. I'd pay $40-70 outright for this game depending on its overall depth, and even probably put some extra into some skins if the monetization was done decently. But, the entire F2P model is counter to "fair monetization" and I've heard this company likes to push even those limits (and certainly did already back in the beta with armor recolors--even worse than Destiny 2's practices in that regard). If I can ever get back on, I'll play with it a bit, but it won't get my money. Supporting predatory F2P (redundant phrasing) only perpetuates further predatory monetization.

um yeah..... tried it last night. not impressed.
No game with such an egregious monetization scheme is gonna be killing anything except maybe its own servers inside of 6 months lol. I'm actually liking the game but I can't imagine how much lasting appeal "greedier waifu Warframe" is gonna have if Nexon doesn't make some changes.
I've had major issues with The First Descendant (not gameplay but rather hardware issues) after about an hour of playing, the game starts overheating my cpu and I am using a intel core i5 quad core processor, this game is gonna be a skip for me

You mean Warframe Competition... This has little to do with Destiny and more to do with Warframe.
