The great thing about Simon's demos? My wife thinks I am doing nothing more than listening to some crazy good guitar player; she has no idea I am watching a pedal demo!
The newer version (VB) has a low impedance output. The old version had a higher output impedance. It just means that the newer version is less susceptible to tonal degradation when running it into other pedals and/or longer cables. This only applies to when the pedal is switched on. The buffered out takes nothing away from the sound.
I already own the Jouster but the Jester sounds really good. Your guitar playing is very tasteful which only adds to the quality of the demo, and allure of the pedal.
The new version has a buffered output whereas the old big version did not. The new version sounds more consistent into other pedals/amps. The new one has different power supply requirements (12VDC @ 500mA, center positive).
well I kind of did not want to hear this :D I'm looking for a used one so it's more probable to find the older one if any. I really like all the stuff you make and I like your playing. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Czech Republic :)

LOL!
Man the lick at 8.27 is summit else.He has a Fabulous touch..beautiful phrasing and so modest about his playing.Terrifyingly good musician.
That blues at the end ... the pedal is nice, and it does help him achieve the tone that he wants, but do not be fooled: This man is a master player.

You, my friend, are an incredible player. Tasty licks with so much soul and feeling - I love it!

i am trying to decide between the two. what is your verdict? the flexibility of the two different channels or the flexibility of the eq section?
Your playing is outstanding!

I like this pedal so much that I just called Simon and ordered one!
After 7:00 is like a dream. :) I love my Jester. However, Jouster and Juggler will be in my inventory. :)
Amazing tones
My Lord when that Les Paul kicks in .....this thing is next on the list!!. Great playing as well by the way
Agreed! A Lester just makes any pedal, just about, sound better. Going to have to try one of these out now.
aos 8:20 foi demais... grande linha melódica! Timbre lindo com a Les Paul!
Sounds awesome! May I ask what bridge humbucker you have in that guitar?
I just want a Bailey ... is that too much to ask? Six years later ... can I have my Bailey now? Oh. I forgot. The world has ended.
What, please...do you consider a buffered output to be? What does that mean, and what does it do to the output sound? Thanks!
great sounding pedal and playing, could you tell me if the channels can be stacked?
Hi Keith - no, the channels cannot be stacked because two of the gain stages are shared between the channels.
Great to know, thankyou and goodluck with everything
What is the difference between this and the older bigger version?
