It is a beautiful piece. First heard "The Arcadian Academy" with Nicholas McGegan play this (on cd), but it is something to see these players perform! I wonder if British band "Red Priest" have performed this? They play without music and indeed move around most dramatically -also a sight to behold - with more colourful dress than Apollo's Fire. (Red Priest is a wee group with virtuoso performers!).
Excellent music piece choice. Considering the Tanglewood venue is outdoorish, it's well recorded. But, perhaps Baroque music type instruments are simpler? Anyhow, the recording engineer must have done a good job.
