Aircamper Test Flight #5: Crappy Landings and Bee Attack!

Tango performs test flight #5 on the newly renovated Grega Aircamper. The flight ended with a bounce and go-around book-ended by two crappy landings, followed by a swarm of angry bees on the taxiway! So all-in-all, a pretty good flight...

"Gotta smooch the wife" should be on your preflight checklist. :-P LOL The first landing looked better to me than #3. Maybe it looked different from your perspective or from the a further away, side view. But thanks for sharing!

What approach speed are you using?

Usually keep it 70-65mph until right above the runway...speed bleeds off quick because of the drag!

How does it perform at 6000ft? I’m thinking about putting an O-200 in mine but I take off at 6000ft.
