Pretty sure the system doesn’t beep like that as it sounds too much like a video game and not an electromechanical one like when they showed the real thing in France. Also, shooting a real gun at the screen likely won’t work either since the one used as a controller communicates with a wire.
It was filmed on the street where i grew up :) across the street from where the cars go through the garage door and the guys are shooting , that was my grand-father's garage :) at 1:22:01
This little Canadian gem has eluded me for years!! This was in heavy rotation on HBO back in the 80s. Thanks for posting, this is a treat. Fun note, a lot of the same actors were in the classic My Bloody Valentine.
I can remember seeing full page ads for this in the Los Angeles Times when it came out. Paramount gave it a big push, and it has impressive cast members but oh is it ever a terrible movie! Some good stunt driving but that's the saving grace.
Thank you very much leatherface ....ive been looking EVERYWHERE for this movie ,,,i actually have it on VHS ..but the thing is ,,havent found my tape in well over 20 years ,,,moved in several places ,,,Howie actually had hair back then ,,,Hayden ,,,was a friggin riot ,,,love when he fake shhots his kids with blanks
At 43:53 there is a guy in the back of the van huffin and puffin on top and she just blows bubbles and plays tapes. I guess it was real?? I don't know?? Anyway that guy got tore up!
Anyone else come to watch this just for the my bloody valentine cast?
I saw this in theaters and I regretted it then, I regret it more now
6:53 for the footage of Nintendo Wild Gunman from 1974

A lost cable classic. Thanks for posting. Been looking everywhere for this.
I thought it was pretty good! I'm so glad I finally got to find and watch this very obscure movie after 38 years.
Thanks for sharing this movie. I can't find it anywhere. I've been looking for years.

1:19:39 with the random unicycle guys still makes me laugh after all these years!
I loved Donald Sutherland's last line: "Can I have my paycheck now?"

They were hoping for another AIRPLANE! and simply got a disaster.
@C. Buck Hyres Yes, Drive-In Classics was a Canadian cable channel. Shut down a few years ago.

5:55 - Cheesecake...
It was considered a bomb but I loved it. "P - R - N - D - L? Ah yes, 'L', for leave!"
This car is parked illegally
Badly written, badly directed.
