Angel dust has an older brother called arackniss who used to be a part of the main cast. He died in the 1940’s and was described as being hostile and confrontational, especially with his siblings.
Arackniss was a very early original character created by Vivziepop, conceived years before his brother, Angel Dust. Arackniss and angel were planned to be part of a 2013 stand-alone short gangster noir for vivzie’s animation thesis, called The Spider Brothers.
Eventually vivzie thought that the main cast was too cluttered, so she sidelined some of the characters, arackniss being one of them. Vivzie said that him along with angel’s other family members will appear in the show at a later stage, perhaps in season 2.

It seems like the whole family died in the 40s around the same time. Could've been some massive shootout gone wrong, with Angel being unable to cope. Thus leading to his overdose.
I doubt that since we know Angel doesn't get along with his brother and father. So maybe its something darker like maybe it being the 40s Angel got disowned for being gay and thats how he overdosed.

That could lead to Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss becoming more involved. If Angel goes to see his family, and finds out that they're being mistreated by their boss, Crimson, the Hazbin group could try to sort out the Mafia, only to find that they're not the only ones with that goal.
Actually Arackniss appeared in the show for a few seconds in the final episode in the part where it was announced that exterminations are over on the big screen he can be seen on the bottom middle from behind (covered with subtitles)
Same with angels younger sister (her mother and sister is in heaven)

I could definitely see a Hazbin Hotel x Helluva Boss cross episode when we finally meet Angel Dust's family. Maybe something like Moxxie's family and mob try to claim some Pride Ring turf, which just so happens to be the turf of Angel Dust's family's mob, so the episode turn into a big gang war so the Hazbin and Helluva Boss cast have to team up to end it?

You can actually see Arackniss in Episode 8, when Katie Killjoy announces that Extermination Day was cancelled. He's right at the bottom, in the middle below the screen, though he's covered a bit by subtitles.

From what I think I remember, he was a mafia boss and pretty emotionally and possibly physically abusive to Angel Dust and hated him for being gay. If anything, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the reason behind Angel overdosing himself and being sent to Hell
Aracknass appeared briefly in the last episode, he's seen along with Baxter seeing the news coverage of the battle victory. Molly is seen when Charlie and vaggie enter heaven.
Maybe in the second season when they reveal the new hotel Angel with be invited to something like a family reunion
