Luckily, not the layers of rules and regs in small rural Maine towns. Just put the well and septic at least 100 feet apart.. that's common sense right? And stay 100 feet back from the shoreline when building around water... or go back further to protect the natural resource.

Basement would be nice, too... Maybe other listings would be more economical.

Said: Could we put a large 5th wheel on this property and make somewhat livable year round? Would we need permission and permits for solar? Could I legally tap/hammer in a well myself?
