So this is the SKullcandy Terrain XL… and skullcandy did an amazing job of packing this speaker with features and a very long battery life, so this thing can keep up with you if you take it on the go with you… but sound quality wise… the Terrain XL is good enough to get the job done. Nonetheless, if you’re thinking about picking up the Skullcandy Terrain XL, lets see what its all about.

Why does nobody have the power on sound for the terrain xl, when mine turns on, the noise it makes sounds far away and kind of muffled, i have the kilo as well but the power on sound is clearer. Defect? Or is this a common thing?
I should mention that the speaker itself plays music just fine and from what i can tell, normally. Its just the sound it makes when turning on is bothersome.

There's not enough speakers that support the connecting 99 speakers function. Skullcandy needs to add their kilo and ounce speakers to the list, as well as putting out some larger Bluetooth speakers. They also need to definitely work on the sound quality of their Bluetooth speakers, as they don't have that much base.
I doubled checked their site and unfortunately only the kilo can link to another kilo.. it would be really nice if you could link the kilo and ounce with the terrain series incase some of your friends get those instead
I need a distance of loudness test as well as a test with other noises around like wind n stuff

I had to send mine back had pretty bad connectionissues. but agree its kinda loud but not much bass.

Walmart ONN has a speaker they’re really trying to get rid of for about 110 and it’s almost 2 feet tall with LED lights ect and for 120-125 after tax this thing is crazy! My buddy bought two of them 😂 edit: I’ll find the name for ya

Could you review the Crusher ANC 2 and compare it to the Crusher Evo and Crusher ANC? I want to know which one has the most bass.
CRUSHER EVO IS STILL THE BASSIEST BY LIGHT YEARS. The new ones suck. They just have hella features. I've tried all skullcandy headphones btw so im reliable.

Same. Those terrains really aren't that impressive, especially when there are speakers in a similar price range or lower that sound better.

Hear me out you have to get the onn. Large party speaker 2 it is really cheap but better than the JBL party box 100 and 110 onn. Is Walmart's own brand of speakers and electronics, trust me it's crazy sounds amazing.

Man it isn't loud. What features I need? Sound lol but uh it doesn't do it for the price. But what about that battery life though. Ah you said it will. Hmm. I mean it's good for driving but it's not loud. Doesn't sound decent. But hey I have Skullcandy stickers \m/

I bought the skullcandy TERRAIN XL TX 20 WATT Bluetooth speaker and heres how it went. It had the WORST sound signature ive ever heard...MIDS boosted to bizarre levels, a DSP that kept creeping UP THE VOLUME,and it became so bad only ONE CD "DIRE STRAITS" sounded good no doubt to its soft mix, CDs like Ozzy Osbourne exploded into harmonic distortion. The only way to salvage this horrible speaker was to go to my samsungs SETTINGS,AUDIO,ADVANCED,CUSTOM to find the 6 BAND EQ to push up BASS all the way, haul MIDS all the way DOWN and HI FREQUENCY ALL UP..then it sounded half decent...after $150 with the warranty i regret getting stuck with a speaker (mono) with k-mart drivers and trashy sound!
