I bought this a few years ago and love it. Probably my favorite tool accessory I own. For those that have an ego blower, it’s well worth the $50-$60, especially if you don’t have a second level of gutters on your house.
I don't know how this thing wasn't on my radar until recently. So glad I found out it existed! I've seen people make similar ones out of PVC pipe, but those always seemed so heavy and awkward.
Excellent review man, there isn’t too much on YT about these attachments it seems so Ty for taking the time 🙏🏻 Chervon makes some fantastic tools for those who aren’t nerdy about tools they’re the manufacturer of power tool brands such as ego kobalt, skil and flex. There may be one or two escaping me but they certainly make some nice tools. So many great tools on the market I genuinely don’t see how some of these fanboi type brand loyalist guys are only in one platform when many of them have a tool or two in their platform that run circles around the competitors.
I bought a set made for Sun Joe blowers for $15 and with a little modification I got it to fit my Ryobi 18V blower. It works much better when you don't let the leaves build up over several months, and it's best to use it when the gutters are not wet with rain water or else you'll get a shower.
Huh, that's really weird! I wonder if they're worried about stress on the frame from the extra cantilevered weight, or extra load on the blower motor, or something else entirely.
@@DoresoomReviews Just a guess on my part Nate, but maybe they are concerned that there would not be enough air going through the blower to cool the motor.
Interesting product. The ego blowers are stupidly powerful, I will have to get this. Though I might still need a ladder for the 2-floor tall reach, but at least I won't have to climb up two floors to do it.
Be careful on a ladder with this - the amount of counter-torque needed to keep it upright is surprising. Maybe practice on the ground first to get a feel for it.
I'm not sure how controllable it would be if you added on a second set of tubes. My opinion is that it wouldn't work well, but I haven't tried it myself.
Do you have any planned patent videos for Dewalt & Makita on the horizon. I am particularly interested in Dewalts Powershift batteries as I was not expecting such a line. Thanks

I'm a little surprised Ryobi doesn't make one too.
@@DoresoomReviews Someone asked Ryobi about that and they said if you use one they will void your warranty.

Ryobi has gutter cleaner attachment for thier string trimers. But I feel like this leaf blower attachment would work better.
A disposable Poncho is a good idea .. I found out the hard way ..
😂
Hi, thank you for this video. I just bought the AGC1000 myself. What would you recommend for second level gutters?
I don't know about second story gutters - my house is single story.
A Ladder
The extension is 8 feet long on the already 3 or so foot long blower. If you are tall enough you might not even need a ladder.
Glad I came across this video, also had no idea this thing existed.

could it do second level gutters if you buy 2 sets of tubes?
