@@SargentoSuculento tbf, as someone who loves both of the games i must say the music in ragnarok is powerful and beautiful, though i do think the sheer power of Hellsingers tracks is amazing i can see why a more general audience who may not like metal as much would pick ragnarok
Can’t get enough of this song. The demo is live if you are interested. A truly amazing game for us, metalheads. I am sure it’s going be my favorite game when it comes out.
Imo the game looks like shit if you watch it. The scores look a bit cheap. But the game itself is amazing. Definitely try the demo. I played the demo like 10 or 15 minutes and was sold straight away. It's like Doom on steroids, which I can't believe that such a thing exists.

to be clearly fair Alissa had some of the best clean vocals in her previous band The Agonist form 2004 to 2014 when she joined Arch enemy.
I preferred The Agonist to Arch Enemy specifically due to utilizing Alissa's cleans more. They are just too good to not have in there.
I've played the demo, it's so addictive getting shots and strikes in time with rhythm of the music.
People saw the game trailer and thought this game it was going to be doom rip off but in Doom you just shoot and rip demons apart while heavy music is play but Metal hellsinger really have to play to the rhythm of music.
She almost sounds like the one lady with an awesome voice. The song is called (forsaken) and it is by(Within temptation).
To be fair, Alissa White-Gluz has been in a video game before this. Back in 2015, the game called Karmaflow came out and it is an action-adventure rock opera video game and has her voice as a specific character in the game. The game also features many other well-known vocalists from the metal and rock music scene. Worth checking out the music from the game at least if the game's genre isn't your cup of tea.

There's a lot to love, and I will call out 6:14 which I feel is highly underrated. Definitely called out here but I never see it elsewhere and as a newb I actually thought there was a screamo dude doing those segments. Finding out that it was just the one vocalist and one that you would never expect... what a brilliant choice.
In the gamescon live presentation she does a Clear to Gutural perfect transition. Was incredible!!!
I can't express how much Allissa's smooth transitions between distorted to cleans makes me feel like "Yep, You can peg me"
So the music in the game is adaptive and changes on how well you're doing. Basically in order to hear the full song and the lyrics you need to be playing at the maximum score multiplier. If you're doing poorly and have a low score multiplayer, you basically just hear the intro of the song on a loop.
Watch this with gameplay, the fighting syncs with the music!

Oh I think imma need play this. The lyrics for this one reminded me of the vocals for a lot of the songs from Attack On Titan while the instrumentals gave a bit of DOOM vibes while being completely it's own thing. Wonderful stuff
Great reaction my dude, this is my favorite song from the Metal Hellsinger demo, also the other songs were made with the vocalist Mikael Stanne from the band Dark Tranquillity called Through you and Blood and Law which I have never heard of Dark Tranquillity before but both of these songs make me want to check their other songs out and see what their like. But overall great reaction to an amazing song and have a great day

The 2022 Gotys were very hard fought and controversial, I loved God of War and I think it should have won the Goty, but I definitely think the best soundtrack should have won Metal Hellsinger, while it wasn't a steal, I think the fact that gameplay and music connected so well that it lost was a big shame.

I like it! The production could have been a lot better to match the vocal talent. I would have preferred Handshake With Hell to have been released like this. Under a different artist's name than Arch Enemy. It's like listening to a Corpsegrinder christmas album. 😂

so, this is a game that got its second hand cheap ass ideas, from zelda, necromancer where you got to move to the beat but with this, you gotto slay awesome shit to the beat and if i got it right, you get great gameing, great music and if you play this game sober, then you are a total weirdo.....yip, count me in, im looking forward to this bad ass game, when does it come out? i am GETTING it, but i do not promise that i will be sober while playing it, i do promise that, i might get a few noise complaints :D oh, and its a level game, so im guessing, as they said, the better you get the better the music gets, im gunna become an expert very fast coz we know, where i wanna get and to who i wanna hear on this....hmmm, the hot and sexxy goddess herself ;)
