You should check Arch Enemy, it's the band she usually sings in, it's amazing, and they've been around for quite a while actually.

She's got nothing on Angela Gossow (her predecessor at Arch Enemy) or Tatiana Shmayluk (from Jinjer). On top of that I've seen her live and her stage presence isn't much to anything home about either.

Do you think her ear monitors were off? Because she did try to recover like a pro, but the whole rendition was flawed - and I haven't seen Alyssa live yet, but from everything I know about her, this can not have been intended.
She was off in pitch on her clean vocals, her timing was messy thoughout the whole song, and the volume of the recording was all over the place, too - so I imagine it must have been faulty tech, because if that was her usualy technique, I couldn't listen to her.

@@spawnxionks dude stop being so ignorant,also what you say doesn't make sense, listen to the original song, the instruments play as the original one and she starts singing one verse later, then she proceeds to skip a verse to catch up. I think she isn't wearing an earpiece so its not that weird as there is not clear cue to the star apart from memory. Mistakes happen all the time in lives, don't become the annoying fan who tries and make them absolutely perfect.
Everybody's in here surprised Alissa can scream, but having only heard her work with arch enemy, I was blown away actually hearing her sing clean like that!

I'm no metalhead by any means but my favourite shooters are Doom 2016/Eternal with the music being a huge part of why theyre so fun. Fast paced demon slaying to metal hits different.

She came in too late with the clean vocals or her band switched to the heavier part too soon - at any rate she seamlessly switched from singing to screaming and that's fucking impressive.

Been listening to her since the first few albums of The Agonist, it amazes me this is the first time some people have seen her.
The ease with which she slides between the GORGEOUS clean vocals and her otherworldly, demonic growls is simply impressive. I've said for years that her clean voice is simply STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL, much like the vocalist herself. I'm not at all a fan of the growly vocal delivery, but she does it just about better than anyone else I've ever heard. I wish she'd record more songs featuring her clean voice.

female metal vocalists are actually kind of the perfect demonstration of how you should be screaming in addition to being jarringly badass. You don't actually use your vocal chords, you're gonna want to be using your false folds and I genuinely didn't understand that until I heard Jinger
I'm in love. I destroyed my chair; ripped my office apart listening to this. It was worth it. This is BadAzz! Her voice is up there with the best if not the best I may have ever heard from Growling Female Metal Vixens.
Finished the game and was asking myself if I'd missed the vocalist from Arch Enemy, having heard them ages ago. Googled it, and yeah: also thought clean and rough vocals were two different people. She's got some fantastic range in both modalities! Handles the missed few bars of the first chorus really well too. A shame the mix - and likely also monitoring - isn't optimal.
