@@joelwallisadv yep, I got a nice deal on a 2008 model with a bunch of great mods like 4.7 gal tank, etc and now I'm just building it up and fixing a few things, your vids have been super helpful!
@@joelwallisadv not sure honestly, since it's a 2008 model it probably should be, so far it's been cold and I haven't run into any issues but it seems like the overheating fuel pump is an issue on some bikes when it gets warmer
@@rowannadon7668 I would agree with the fuel pump issue happening in warmer temps. My friends 2015 did it to us in 80 degree weather and my 2008 did it multiple times in temps above 80. But other than the fuel pump they are rock solid bikes.
You WR guys seems like you're well prepared and bikes are tip top...those other guys, jesus...they need to get it together haha all those issues would drive me nuts. Looked like a fun trip though.
I grew up with these guys and they have always been unprepared on every trip we have done since high school, except Adam who has the other WR he is always well prepared :) It’s quite entertaining to travel with them cause you never know what to expect lol. It was def a fun trip and will have to do it again with them and maybe they will be more prepared for the next but I doubt they will bahahaha!
Nice ride guys. I moved from Issaquah WA to Bend Oregon and just picked up a 2018 WR250R and it nice seeing just what a duel sport will do in the wood and pavement. Crazy group of guys and a good mix of bikes. Be safe and keep the rubber side down and ride. Around bend Oregon out1
Awesome video me and the boys will definitely do something like this soon! All new bike owners finally getting into it in our early 20’s hope to be as experienced as y’all someday!!!!
Thanks for sharing this. Your coverage of this trip with all the camera angles, captured helmet audio, drone footage etc is really impressive. I kept thinking about the logistics of capturing it all while adventuring and then the bear of editing it. Hats off to you! Must have taken a lot of work.

There was a fire ban in our area at the time. Cannot go wrong with a WR :). Just some of them have bad fuel pumps.
