Oh yeah i remember mentioning that there's a short quest in the main game that sort of leads up to some moments in FC around the time you started playing it 8 MONTHS AGO??? 😅 Anyway this shot at 41:06 is from that quest actually and it's the only quest in the first game that has voice acting
teelan is from a sereis of side quests you likely missed during the time where zanza is reborn alcamoth gets infested by telethia due to the pureblooded high entia there, teelan sends you on a few quests to gather samples to see if theres a way to reverse the transformation i think
I am glad you came back. To be completely honest, while developers and some friends of mine insist that this expansion connects with X3, I never understood exactly how or why, and I played it twice. I am curious to see if, as you play x3, you see the connection. Anyway, this feels very relaxing after Torna for some reasons. And, it's me or the graphics are better? Weird.
The main things are: -Melia becomes queen and showcases her ability to united people from different backgrounds. -The rift between worlds beginning -Showcases Shulks ability to construct Monado tier tech which is obviously important in relation to the advanced tech that allowed Aionios to exist. -A lot of the writing is fairly subtly hinting at a lot of the conflicts and themes that will arise in XC3. Its definitely perfectly fine to go straight to 3 but FC does build up to XC3 just not in a major way to where you would NEED to play it beforehand it just makes the transition a bit more natural.

Future Connected is about 8 hours if you only do main quest. Side stuff adds 3-6 hours
