Most of my friends where very surprised when I told them it's actually german. But maybe because they didn't expect it too. So in the end you can say, Mika is good, but sometimes she just like swallows some vocals or has a pretty uncommon way to say some words. It's recognizable, but you hear the accent very clear. While here, at this cover, you can at most part almost think it's a german singer
