These videos are wonderful. There is a synergy with the two of you. You asked what we would like to see so here goes. I have been practicing Ashtanga youga for about three years. My practice is stuck in neuteral until I can get my shoulder over the noncontigous knee and and get my leg over my shoulder. I believe that these two techniques are an essential part of the Ashtanga practice. I have been working on these two techniques for about 6 months and some small improvement but not there yet so there's two topics for your videos. Thank you for these videos. Namaste!
Love you both from the Purple Valley videos and Learn To Float. Thank you! I have leant so much. And May isay I love all the mat colours and Jelena’s funky outfits.
Thanks so much. Great to hear you've enjoyed our content over the years. We have many more classes, tutorials (and funky outfits) to share on here soon :)
I love watching your videos. At the same time, I wish I were 20(or maybe 30) years younger. I’ve practiced yoga for over 20 years & still cannot get the knees down. Are there any contradictions that I should take into consideration? I’ve had teachers say many things, like push on the knees (no,no), lengthen the spine, and externally rotate the upper thigh. So many cues, so little results.

This instruction on the hips is awesome. Your explanation of how the tightness in the jaw affects how the hips can relax is very important.
It really makes a huge difference. Thanks for watching and your feedback :)

Is pulsating the legs in this butterfly pose helpful to sooth tightness in the hips? and would you advice not to push down the legs at all?

Would size of one's thighs block the knees from coming flat to the floor?
It has much more to do with hip mobility/openness than the size of the thighs :)
@@DavidandJelenaYoga Well, I experience my outer thighs may be blocking things.
