Dude - you have a strong back! I spend a few hours detailing my own vehicles and by the end my back is smoked. I can’t image 14 hours of detailing! You do great work sir!
He's said in earlier videos that his back hurts him by the end of any given detailing. He's quite tall---6', maybe a couple inches taller than that---so it's hard for him to bend and twist through all the vehicles.

Still has a strong back lol I'm 5'8" and when I detail my car after a few hours, too many times I completely through my back. Which is why I only do this on a Saturday so I have Sunday to recover. I have a really bad back. My dad has deteriorating disc disease and I'm confident I do too at just 27 yo. First time I threw out my back I was 14 and playing soccer. I cried because I couldn't get up or move without extreme pain and it was scary as a 14 yo. Really sucks having a shit back. Bad genes 😭
@@8JLZ8 I wouldn’t worry too much when your back gets like mine You can say you have a bad back, most of my spine is surrounded by a titanium cage that’s been screwed in place, unfortunately 2 of the screws have come loose and they hurt just a wee bit lol, needs replacing now, also got Crohn’s disease and M.S and cancer as well lol, but still up flying about and dashing around and smiling and laughing my way through the pain, 72 tablets a day is what it takes to make sure I can move about with as little pain as possible. Lol bugger it, you only live once so not gonna waste time sat on my arse doing nothing. Good luck with you back, hopefully it won’t get any worse, back pain and tooth pain I think are the worst pains to have
Favourite part of a winter detail? Watching the ice fenders drop off the car! Love when the ice gives way. Another outstanding job Mitch, they knew where to bring their car for superior cleaning!

I mean ChrisFix isn’t into detailing like this. He races and posts videos on how to fix/install parts/clean your car. More of a “how-to” channel at the surface. This is showing you what you can do with elbow grease and affordable products. I guess I’m saying they aren’t in the same realm so to speak.
ChrisFix kinda rubbishes the whole of DetailGeeks business model by his videos showing how you can detail your car at home yourself and theres no need to take it to a detailer... I'm not sure DetailGeek would want to collab with him 😭💀
The interior looks so clean! It's insane that these older vehicles have seats that look more comfortable than the seats in cars today (despite all the money we pay). Great detail!
The fact that this van is almost 20 years old and seriously looks BRAND NEW on the inside is a true testament to your skills, your products, and how much better vehicles used to be made. It’s sad to see how much the quality of interior fabrics has declined over the years. But you did an incredible job bringing that old van back to life!! That couple’s reaction was so sweet!! 😊
It depends on the company. Take for instance Chrysler in the 2000s. Their interior quality wasn't good. It improved in the 2010s. It's just where their design focus went.
I can't count the number of audible squeals of excitement I let out throughout this video. It is incredibly satisfying to watch the stains come out! You did a superb job of cleaning this car👏

There are so many wonderful things to learn, books to read ---whether via phone or Kindle, or whatever device, including real, genuine books---so many pictures to draw or paint, so many walks that need to be taken (I go alone, neither owning, nor wanting to own, animals of any kind), so many places locally to be seen. How in the world can anyone have time for "boredom"????

Wow, the interior looks brand new! Mitch, one of the greatest joys (for me) when washing a car in the winter was using the pressure washer to 'cut off' the chunks of hard ice in the wheel wells and under the rocker panels. Amazing job as always 👍
Just wanted to give you major props for always turning vehicles that others would dismiss as unclean-able or just "junk cars" and bringing life back into them and changing the owners life. Much respect 🙌 And yup that dirty water does give remind me of a night eating at Taco Bell 🌮 🌯 🤣
I have to admit that when I saw 14-hour detail, I was sure that there'd be maggots, mold, and roaches! It was nice seeing that it wasn't that bad. Just dirty, but not a quarantine situation! I just did a dodge mini van (not to mention its winter, so the vehicle mats are frozen) that was caked with thick grime on surfaces, candy stuck on cloth seats, the amount of fries, gold fish snacks.. haha not to mention the storage under the folding floor in the back! It was alot. All the seats needed to be steamed and over passed with the upholstery cleaner many times. Let's just say 14 hours was a rough one on my body! It takes alot of work for one person! And you sir did one hell of job 🙌

OP, I'm legitimately surprised to see a Windstar of that vintage still on the road - I haven't seen any in Ontario in well over a decade.
