    Do you seal them once they’re dry?

    Hi Oxana, I have tons of the round stones from the dollar store lol but I made magnets when I first started playing around with jewelry making. And I’ve baked a bunch for the crackle look so now I’m going to paint them but I’m wondering if you have the time to show a video with the absolute easiest way to wrap some. I did a bunch of smaller ones with your video you showed your daughter how to get started 😂. You just make everything look so easy also I only have a ton of 20 gauge dead soft and I do have all the wrapping wire as well. I know this is a older video, but it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks and keep on making your beautiful wraps and also I think you have one of the most soothing voices not being weird it’s true just like a teacher. Ty.

      So they are round flat glass like the ones in this video? In that case I think the tutorial you are using (I think it is this one: ruclips.net/video/D3xndOYQeJA/видео.html) would be the easiest, especially if you want to use 20 gauge round wire.
      Here's another tutorial, it has a similar look but also option to make a ring: ruclips.net/video/ZEwxHMXtQcM/видео.html
      Here's a quick spend up tutorial for that same design: ruclips.net/user/shortsjOwlKa1gjcc
      Here's one that uses 20 gauge round wire and even though in the video I use square stone it would work for round too: ruclips.net/video/5NI6DIdpMUI/видео.html

      Ty All the stones are painted some came out really well look like labradorite luv them and Thanks for taking the time to help me out I think I will give them all a go and see what happens. And I do have some 20 gauge square aluminum so I see a couple of your other videos that may work to. Thanks again. And you’re work is just gorgeous.

    Can I use a clear glitter nail polish then a coloured glitter nail polish with an opaque colour on the back? Would this still work? I can’t get flakey nail polish.

    Very pretty!!! I get my flat-glassed cabs from Dollar General (they have the same bags almost that you would find at a craft store) for less than $2 and the Dollar Tree has the small ones for $1 a bag and there's quite a bit in them!! I was doing other things with mine, but seeing this I am going to try this!! Very pretty!!!

      Donna Hoagland the ones you can get online are more uniformed and completely smooth on the back... that has helped me with certain looks im going for. Look up yvonne williams and see here drsgon eye cabs. Besutiful!!!!

    I love the flake polish! I will have to get some for my eye cabochons!
    However, I wanted to suggest a tool I made to make mine with. I cut off a suction cup and glued it to the end of a wooden dowel. You can then stick it to the front and paint the back without painting your fingers. Then you can use pvc pipe couplers to set them on while they dry. As long as the dowel is shorter than your coupler you do not even have to take it off.

      I use poster putty stuck to the end of an orange stick. You can then stick the front of the cabochon to the putty and not get your fingers. Also works for dipping/marbling. 👍

    FYI: Dollar Tree and 99 cents only stores in the US carries tons of polish including glitter polish. You can use craft paint to cover the back instead of dark blue or black or pink nail polish and will give a better coverage.

      Or, you could glue a piece of felt on the back.

    Doesn't it rub off easily..or scratch off? I love the affects.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  8 лет назад +1

      +1994abbygirl you can coat the back with mod podge or resin to protect it. I find that because there is wire in the back the back of the cabochon doesn't rub up against anything.

    What would be a good price to sell these?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  6 лет назад

      I am not sure, it depends on the cost of your materials and the time it takes you to make them, and how much you want to pay yourself for your time

    • @trevorwatkins5425

    ummm....thats not a zoya polish...sorry but it appears that someone de-potted sinful colors green ocean into an empty zoya bottle. zoya has never made a polish that looks like that but currently in their core line of colors it is a cult favorite among sinful color junkies. trust me, i know. i have or have owned every single sinful colors since the very first day they sold.

      holy smokes!!! how have i not seen this polish ever? and who would pay what they want for it today when u can get the exact same thing for 2 bucks. the only place i could find it is on ebay for $67. r u kidding me. that lady is prolly gonna own it until shes gone cuz that price is nutty. i think she doesn't really wanna sell it so she went sideways on the price or something. thank u for the knowledge, i love to learn new things. u rock , gonna try this eye right now. ill let u know how it goes. :)

      mary vredeveld oh wow that's so expensive, I just bought it for normal price back in 2012. I agree, so many similar alternatives to this now that can be bought for cheap.

      I bought that Sinful Green Ocean after the first season it was released but couldn’t get it. Didn’t think they’d rerelease it so I paid $27. The next summer it came back for $1.99. 😒
