Private landlords should be outlawed. If there's going to be any kind of landlord, it should be the council, with council housing. The councils are not building affordable council houses anymore. That's why renting costs so much now. All this BS about, allowing developers, build, a housing estate, with a small percentage of them, being affordable housing, is a scam.
The public definitely have the right to be landlords and God forbid if this is not the case. Having the state owning all properties is an absolutely terrible idea, sounds like something a Communist state would do. Mass immigration is largely responsible for high rent prices....increase in demand without an increase in supply.....can only lead to price increase.
