Gareth actually seems to have a great sense of humour, we only ever get to see the serious side of him on the touchline so it's nice to see the more human side of him.

It's good to see Gareth Southgate in relaxed setting. Romesh certainly brought out a more personable side of him. We rarely get to see him in that light.
OH MY GOD!!! What is this sorcery!? How can anything be this funny!? Absolutely bloody HILARIOUS, I have not laughed this much in years, I cannot stop! My wife made the mistake of watching the video too, we both now are in a constant state of laughter. Gaeth is the best manager England have had in years. He's got us to a final and a semi final by uniting the players. There will always be the negative clueless people who want him out but who is going to do better? get behind the guy.
The grass is always greener. I think people will only appreciate him once he has gone and things go backwards. Although, that being said, I think he will choose who his successor will be and that person will follow the same system, and continue his work so maybe not.
What makes me laugh is this concept of the grass is greener. As it has never worked before. Just look at Chelsea. They get rid of Tuchal who had been successful, bring in Graham Potter who everyone has praised and now have yet to win a game.

🤣🤣 this is refreshing. Gareth is a great guy and the PR machine around him is ideal. He is a great statesman. However, doesn't hid the fact that he can play on the front foot more considering the attacking talents we have. Hope he does well but I really think there are better tactical managers out there by quite abit!
He’s a top man. Regardless of what people say about him, statistically he’s England’s 2nd greatest manager of all time.

2020 Euros - 2nd
This is the best era I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. I’m so used to us either struggling in group stages or losing early knockout games.. It’s such a breath of fresh air to see an England team actually competing at the serious end of the competitions now.
I for one will always be grateful to Southgate for giving me some of the best moments I’ve ever witnessed as an England fan.
Regardless of what you think of him, his tactics or his team selection.. Stop all the moaning and get behind all of our boys, let’s support them and encourage them and let’s see how far we can go!

I think it could be argued that he is the best. No, he hasn't won the World Cup but reaching a final and semi-final where there is way more competition that ever before and personally I think turning around England which seemed an impossible task. Plus, that he has turned round the FA to the point that he has re-written every part of English football from grassroots up to the England squad and therefore has become the most influential person in English football should make him the most successful England Manager

Good fun interview, but still won’t change that he still takes his favorites. He had earned to take the team to the World Cup based on his previous results, and should take England far again
It is not favourites. It is a system them introduced. I find it funny that England have spent only reached 2 semi-finals in 50 years. He introduces a complex system and gets to a semi-final and final on his first 2 attempts, achieving more in 5 years than the previous 50 yet people want to go back to the good old ways to how we used to do it. I think people will only appreciate what he has done once he has gone. Although, I think I know who will be his successor and the system will still continue
