- An enduring love story, this traditional Irish folk song was first collected in Donegal by poet Padraic Colum (1881-1972) and also by musicologist Herbert Hughes (1882-1937)
The video was filmed at the Sherwood Forest Renaissance Faire and the Inishowen Peninsula of Ireland. Produced by 2002 and Tim Kennedy of Erin Shore Productions.

This ballad has always been my favorite traditional Irish song. It has been sung brilliantly by many of the great Gaelic women singers over the years. Sarah has demonstrated that she belongs with the best of them. Just wonderful.
