    Hey guys
Thanks for the video. I was able to go through the process of elimination and found the resistor had failed. i had to replace the ignition switch last year because it had fried out. I had to replace the wire harness as well because it got damaged. Your video helped me immensely. Good luck

Great video. My ignition switch burnt out similar to yours. I ordered a new one but I also cleaned out the terminals and got the fan to start working again. I'll replace it as soon as I get the new switch. Thanks again.

I wiggled the wire into the ignition and my fan started too seems to be a common theme. Thanks for the good video and help !!

Mine was not the fuse but the power wire had corroded in half under the fuse box.
Som advice to anyone that has had this issue. The top two wires going to the ignition switch are for the blower motor circuit. Check for power on the wire that is pink with a black strip first. If you have power there then turn the key to the truck on if the green wire does not have power then it’s an ignition switch/ harness problem. Obviously check this by using a test light and poking it through the wire insulation.
I ended up fixing the wire and just installing a 50 amp relay to bypass the ignition switch.

Did you notice switch position problems before you motor blower stopped working... Just something I noticed for a while now suddenly I have no blower. The wire connector was bad and I replaced it with the blower and it still didn't work. I wired the motor directly and it works. Next would be the ignition swith and control board.

@@clintlittle8833 Yes it had broken piece of copper and shorted out the ignition switch and now it's working perfectly

My wires and ignition switch on my 03 burnt up yrs ago and I thought they did it again but it’s something else. Last time I developed a theory that the lower fan speeds using a higher resistance make the wires overheat and for whatever reason that seems to be at the ignition switch. Anyone who knows more about electricity can correct me but I decided then to only use the high speed and now several yrs later the wires and ignition switch aren’t burnt idk what it is this time🙃

Replaced ignition switch, resistor, still nothing. Didnt check the blower motor itself yet or the switch cluster. Mopar is known for this the resistor went bad in both my dodge vans too

I have an issue with the blower not working. Not getting power. I hooked power to the green wire on the blower and it works all speeds. But no air comes out of any vent no matter what setting I put it on. Hot or cold or nothing no air at all. Could it be the switch or are all my blend doors broken?

I replaced my resistor like everyone else, but my fan still only works on high. Any other suggestions ?

So the blower motor seems to work well but on long trips (say 100 miles) the air slows down n barly blows out air. The blower motor looks clean n even new. Could it be that the motor is over heating because if I let it sit an hour it works well again . Any suggestions?

Do you have a part number or possibly a noun to ask for it at the parts store?
    Great video, thanks!

Mine works without the key being in it. Any ideas what it could be?

Probably ignition switch contacts welded closed.
