- Hey, In this video I will be listing the rarest items in GTA Online. This list is in no particular order, some items are rarer than others. I chose these items based on their uniqueness and difficulty to unlock. If you think I missed any items that should of been on this list, then please let me know down below!

Sadly not much anymore, due to dataminig it's increasingly difficult for devs to hide things in their game, especially something as old as GTA V, where knowledge of how to break down and read code is now commonplace

I know of some rare items:
This were added back in 2014 (if I recall correctly), some T-Shirts featuring some radio Stations from older GTA Games, you could only get them during a certain week (back then of course), inside an air drop crate, I was able to get the KDST one, really wanted the SF-UR one.
I managed to get 3 of them unfortunately not the one I wanted
I'm pretty sure I got a few of them
I fought my butt off for 2 days to find K-Rose, but with no luck. I still have the other 3 though.

I think they're a psychopath for not letting us select it as a tattoo after we get it
No, it's not that bad, it took me 6 days to complete the ressuply missions, i was doing 100 ressuply a day in around 5-6 hours in purpose, i had a 2 hour break in each session of grinding, unlocking the tatoo as a whole took me another day so 1 week in total to unlock the item, grinding the ressuply missions on a constant basis like a robot would take 3 days top
to be fair, it is called "easter egg and secret" so it definitely takes time to get it, like a sudden random thing appear outta no where. otherwise it wouldn't be called a secret anyone

dont forget the placeable ground fireworks, those should make a rare list by now due to only being available for a limited time and being consumable

Technically they don't exist anymore. We're never coded in for newer gens, or was at least taken out.
@@zcneideck they were actually in new gen, just removed from players inventories years ago because of some wall breach glitches.
There's also the "Beer Caps": they were only available in special cargo drops around the map, the problem is that these cargo drops never came back to GTA Online again (and probably never will), making impossible to new players get them, there's 5 in total and I got 4 of them.
Edit: I also have the Rockstar Verified Shirt, I don't even know how, it's just there 🤔
They came back this year. The only one that didn’t come back is the “J Lager Beer Hat”, I have it from the original crate drops back in 2014
Oh really? I have the blue Pisswaser hat lol. I had no idea it was rare. I don't even remember how or when I got it.
That’s a simple answer on why you got it and doesn’t fool anyone, you got your account modded on old gen before crossing it over to new gen. using unlock all tool which gives you most of the clothing in game unlocked. I know for a fact cause I’ve done this to many of my accounts on GTA.

I work in a delivery office and remember all the GTA5 parcels piled up ready for delivery on release day.
...we had people jumping up and down and going mental on the doorstep as they received their copy, good times. =)
Correction on the alien tattoo, if you're playing on console there's gonna be an item named "???" on the tattoo shop list. Which will make you able to remove and get it again. Unlike in PC, the tattoo it's bugged and won't appear in the tattoo shop list and it won't appear on some cutscenes and it disappear and appear again after changing clothes.
Update : The issues with the Alien Tattoo on PC has been fix on the recent festive surprise update, the tattoo is now showing on the list and no longer disappear after switching clothes.
In console if u have a tatto on your back does it appear or you have to wipe your back tattos before attempting to get it
I lose it every 3 or 4 days and have to replace the tattoo for $100 each time.
It also does thunder and rain at night on console.
@@parsa_sandbox3184 the tattoo will replace any tattoo u have on your character back after u got the UFO random chance event. If ur character doesn't have tattoo on the back, it will be applied also.

I’ve unlocked the slam van. I only found out it was an extremely rare item after showing off my garage to a friend. Surprised I got such luck winning it when normally I win nothing from lucky spins
same, i won it in the casino right in front of my dad. it was on my xbox account that got reset eventually
A few years ago, for the Christmas event rockstar gave you 10pcs of each body armor if you logged in on Christmas day. Usually you can only have 10 body armor, I've never used any of them so I still have the 50 in my inventory
They give you full armor for all categories every Christmas. Lol. It’s not special bro.
You missed the High Flyer parachute bag, it was available for a single day this year, and the only other instance it was available was once years ago.

I actually have the “I heart LC” shirt, I didn’t even know how I unlocked it or that it was rare until today.
Just want to let people know: that clock that’s shown in the first couple seconds of the video? It has no collision if you’re in a vehicle. Hop in your deluxo or oppressor mk2 and you can just clip through the building.
It’s a nice little hiding spot.

You should look into the clothing you get from the casino. There is an item called the chicken and waffle shirt that is only obtainable through the wheel. I believe classique has one

honestly, some of the items aren't worth the hassle imo, which, when I think about, is a good thing since I won't feel the need to grind races, heists, etc like a frenzied lunatic on a daily basis
All of them are not worth it 😂 because once you get them you’ll only wear them for one time then get bored of it and no one actually pay attention on what you wear 😂 unless it’s a full outfit
True like why would i spend 46 days grinding on an tractor that is probably the slowest vehicle in the game

love your videos. no bullshit, just straight to the point. and it doesn't feel like your're stretching everything out to get to the 10 minute mark.
I actually own a couple of the items on this list, I even randomly got 2 different dev shirts completely random throughout the years for whatever reason, and the green verified T-shirt during that event killing someone with the gusenberg sweeper was only one of a couple ways to get it, all of them being slightly goofy challenges, I got mine by running over 3 or 5 people with an ambulance but the gusenberg sweeper was by far the easiest way to get it. Personally my favorite “rare” item is the mile high flyer parachute bag since it was one of the first item of the kind and it was the most unique parachute bag.
I know that with older modded accounts (like the one I've had that has the money wiped AGES ago) includes a lot of older rare t-shirts. ie: The Rockstar Verified T-shirt, Elite Challenge Shirt, Asshole T-shirt and even all the Halloween livestream t-shirts.
I still got all the gta san andreas radio stations t shirts and 2 beer hats. 3 fireworks that you can place on the ground too.

Jesse Thiessen change your outfit so you get the save circle, and use it immediately but then close the game out so your friends can see it

However there are 2 other impossible things to get...
Ground fireworks
And HIGHLIFE / BUSINESS custom license plate for cars.
These last 2 license plates were available as reward for the winners of Business and High Life Snapmatic contest and they have a unique background.
I used to play and chat with the guy with the HIGHLIFE plate! Back in the day there weren't any custom license plates so this was the coolest thing ever
He also had the HIPSTER one, the guy was insanely good at GTA photography and very nice, he gave me a lot of photography tips
So cool!! Wish R* would put more new license plate styles in the game, there were several awesome looking unused ones in the game files like Liberty City and Sprunk vanity plates. :P

Dude these things are mythical. The ground fireworks are completely wiped from the next gen and PC version. Still have a few on my Ps3 though!

The Elite Challenge T Shirt is nuts but it pays off because the Heists are fun and I met some pretty good friends on my journey
Another rare thing is the original apt from the eclipse towers before it was upgraded to another interior. I still have my first interior that has wood tile floors with the bench by the window, orange pillows on the couch, and green kitchen

I remember unlocking the Rockstar Shirt via the bugged reward for the sweeper kill. I still use that shirt every once in a while to this day
I have the UFO tattoo, and recently Rockstar made it so you CAN put it back on if removed.
You can verify this simply, by going in a tattoo shop and scroll through the back category, if you've unlocked it, you'll see it there marked "unlocked".

@@777dreamresort yes, and I wasn't even counting. I used to grind the bunker religiously before the casino heist and Cayo Perico was around. Then I randomly got the alien egg resupply mission and found out the rest from a video

Stocking Mask, only available for a few hours on Christmas Day 2014, when hackers DDOS'd the servers. (May be available by landing the Lucky Wheel Mystery Space?)

Unicorn Mask, available Christmas Day 2016, also has a chance of dropping via the Lucky Wheel Mystery Space (which is where I got mine.)

As someone who played GTA 5 since launch and has every single shirt, vehicle, mask etc. (besides the dev t-shirt and the streamer shirt) I feel kinda special now🥰
I never found competant players in gta online for the original heists, i got use to being able to do a lot of the missions by myself when those were the best money making methods, i also personally found the missions fun back when i still use to play

The mystery wheel one would take way less time if you spun the wheel and then logged off before it lands on one option and then log back on and it gives you another chance to spin and you can keep doing it until you get mystery that will basically rise the chances of getting the car

Watched this video in passing as I enjoy stuff like this and thought I recognised a couple of things in it... Had a look through my wardrobe and I have the green verified shirt. Always seen it and never realised how rare it was. Surprised the Kifflom shirt wasn't mentioned at all however.
I was wondering why I had the verified shirt but that valentine's day thing explains it. That's when I got the game. Nice, me and my friends that played back then all got the "please stop me" mask too.

1. One of the most rarest cars is Mesa Off-road without cages. Only way to obtain this is to find someone who has it and somehow duplicate it.
Btw, I think once you pass level 8000 you start from either 0 or 1(can't remember which one it is) again but keeping all the stats and unlocks.
I think you can get the mesa without too when you call Mercenaries from Merryweather on a player
@@commanderblack5045 their Mesa comes with cages and a spare tire on the back. The one that I’m taking about doesn’t have them.
There's also the high flyer parachute bag, which was available only during a special event week back in August 2014, after the SA Flight School update.
I’ve got candy cane avenger skin which is rare, was for Christmas 2018, that manhunt mask I had on my old account, wish I still had that. Also, the Kifflom T shirt, where you have to keep drinking Macbeth’s until you get it, the clown van, neon necklace. Man there’s so much rare stuff on this game. Oohhh the Monkey Blista Compact online. Can’t get that anymore.

Honestly there’s a bunch of crate drop shirts from 2014 that are rarer than a bunch of these cuz there’s no way of ever getting them again

I LOVE how difficult/tedious/time consuming they make some of these things. It a time where everyone gets everything, it's cool theres items that you have to really be commuted to, to actually get.
Hi in control again! Actually, for a very very small amount of time you were able to get the dev shirts through a “glitch” it would basically turn the Christmas clothes into dev clothes. Before they were blacklisted fully! They wouldn’t be unlocked but you would have it as a saved outfit. This was probably 2014-2015 maybe?

I was going through my wardrobe looking for the Rockstar Verified Shirt because I assumed I got it during the Valentine's event (as I used the Gusenberg Sweeper a lot) and sadly I didn't see it... But it turns out I own the Please Stop Me Mask! That definitely caught me by surprise.
Val-de-grace livery for the 8F Drafter. As far as I know, it was the default livery for the car when won as the casino wheel prize early on in that process. I think one could buy the livery at mod shops for a couple of weeks after, but that option was subsequently removed. I regret missing out on this one.
I had no idea the rockstar verified shirt was rare. I just randomly got it one day and when I contacted rockstar about it they just straight up said “ just keep it”.
I also thought the “Please stop me” mask was going to be one of those common masks you unlock naturally because of how easy it was to get it. I haven’t played online since 2017 but it’s cool to know there some items that worthy the hassle
I got the rockstar verified shirt because they verfied one of my Jobs by mistake because it was named the same as a Job they wanted to verify. You also get an ingame achivement for it.
I remember back on the PS3 when they introduced the Dinka Jester and that other one. I am 95% sure they said they will only be avaiable around christmas time, so I spent my whole weekend grinding money to get it. When it was still for sale after I few month, I got a little bit pissed..
Oh and I just remembered that the hearse was pretty rare too for the most time cus it wasnt for sale or anything up until recently and you could only hope for a rare spawn at a graveyard. I was so happy when I finally found one and once I got it, I could use it to increase the spawnrate and give my friend one too.
There's also a very rare item you have only could get in the Ms. Baker missions when they came out. The item is the poison-canistor. There was a glitch in a mission where you got that that you could have it in your weapon wheel after the mission. This glitch is now patched:(

I have the dev shirt after glitching male/female main character. It unlocked all the tshirts. 🤯

There’s also another version of the R* Dev shirt that is black with a different yellow logo. Very few people were randomly given it at some point years ago. The shirt is kinda glitched (the logo won’t appear if you equip it as a saved outfit) but I think it’s the rarest shirt I have and I have quite a few things on this list
Feeling pretty blessed that the first time I EVER landed on the mystery slot I won the Lost MC Slamvan

One rare item you didn't mention was the Christmas skin for the up n atomizer and only obtainable during 2018 Christmas and during that time a "special event" business battle can appear and if you successfully compete against other gta online players in recovering the business battle cargo you get only a chance at receiving the up n atomizer plus the exclusive Christmas skin for it
, I remember trying so hard to just unlock the weapon and it took a long time but I'm glad i have it till this day lol
I am getting close to unlocking all of these things. I got the limited time stuff when it was out but I do not have some of the more grindy things such as the alien tatoo.

I have the please stop me mask, the rockstar verified shirt, and few of the shirts. I never worn them ever, but I'd never guess they'd be considered some of the rarest items in the game. Kinda cool.
I remember the beer helmet drop was a rare item, had one on my ps3 account
I tried and failed miserably for the event then i got it later when they gave it away for free for a few days

Just wondering what happens if you click on the back tattoo section? Like just click on it but not select a tattoo? Will the alien tattoo go away? Or will it still be there as long as you don’t actually select another tattoo?
I have quite a lot of the rare items from 2014-2017, including the green Rockstar tee. It’s weird though as I never went out of my way to unlock anything.

there's a bunch of variants of cars that aren't quite rare, but uncommon, like dubsta2, sadler with all mods, stratum with all mods, beejay with michael. I think TPI frogger might be a thing aswell

The fire works that you can set on the ground, only way to get them was to get them from Ammunition and they would be in your weapon wheel, Rockstar took them out really early on in the beginning of online
I used to have the Hazardous Jerry can in GTAO from when I did the Casino Heist, maintenance gear a while ago. However it was patched in the Los Santos Summer Special update, so you couldn’t get it anymore, then patched again in the Los Santos Tuners update, and I lost it. :(

Y'know back when you could get Cop outfits and Garbage vests by glitching under the map and into your garage during crooked cops back on last gen doing that same exploit but while wearing an outfit with the 'please help me' mask was the only alternative to getting it.

I've gotten this video recommended again, and I'm going to attempt to get the Alien Tattoo. I know for sure that I have one, MAYBE two bunker resupply missions completed, and now that we can do solo resupply and such I'm going to finally attempt this. I'm hoping I can finish the 598-599 missions before christmas, and the winter update. And even attempt to be as lucky as you are, getting below 80 attempts for this. + Even getting this mission during the short timeframe.
I looked some stuff up about tracking how much you have, if its possible for a minute or two, and there is ONE way you can check how much resupply missions you've done, although it's very early on. If you go to your MOC and check the missions on the planning screen, and you have ALL missions unlocked, you've supposedly completed 14 resupply missions. Not very helpful at all, I would recommend tallying or writing how much you've done down on paper or something that you will NOT lose it.

Looking at those items, a few of them. Please Stop Me mask, Elite Challenge shirts, (Only took me and my friends 5 years), Asshole shirt... and Lost Slamvan from the casino. When I spun the wheel and got the car, I started making weird noises, and my friend thought that something happened to me. Granted, I don't use this car that often, because it's not the best one to drive, but I still like it. Also, I have quite a few beer hats, which I got back on PS3... Not really sure if they're rare now, but they're fun.
