A youtuber I follow, went to LA for a YT Invitation and he also said that how he knows every road in LA only because of GTA 5 Best thing is he never went to LA irl and that was his first time
When GTA 4 came out it felt pretty surreal. Although it’s not completely accurate to NYC it’s pretty damn close. It was pretty strange driving around my neighborhood. 😂
Im sure some of the original GTA 5 developers, photographers, and map designers appreciate these videos. They spent thousands of hours replicating a city, just for most players to drive by each building not caring about it.
It was finished by modders, some FiveM servers have it finished but I don't believe anybody ever posted a public download link so I have no idea how they got it. ruclips.net/video/VW-8oI5NEZo/видео.html
I can't believe you actually never gone to California.. How clearly you were depicting facts about each place it seemed you have visited each one of them very closely. Salute for your research in this one❤️
I've lived in California for half of my life. I've lived in L.A. for a couple of years, but in the ghetto part of the city. I never got to experience the nicer parts of L.A. and only passed by Beverly Hills once when my family was moving to another town.
I'm actually curious about weather the mile high club is supposed to be a huge skyscraper or a place where the player could hang around and chill because in its blue print it's fascinating.
The concrete Skate park on Vannucci beach is a replica of the very famous Venice Beach 1800 beach front walk skatepark which has featured in dozens of pro skater videos, i think the earliest was either the first Powell Peralta or Santa Cruz films around 1985. It was a favourite spot of Tony Alva, Tony Hawk in the mid 1980's, also Rodney Mullen, Natas Kaupus, Ed Templeton, Deawon Song have all shot footage there. Sky Brown was filmed there just before her entry into the 2020 Olympics.
Another great video! I visited California 8 years ago, well worth a visit! Down town LA is a bit rough lol But drive up north to Santa Monica and other areas and it’s beautiful.
Great video as always! In my personal opinion, I really liked the background music in your “older” videos. I think it would be nice to have it back IMO. Have a great day!
The colourful painted hippy area in the Sonora desert is a replica of the famous Salvation Mountain made by the artist Leonard Knight. In real life its just a few miles from the Salton Sea, a largely abandoned enormous man made lake in California which is where another GTA building is from. The Boathouse (abandoned restaurant) on the southern coast of the lake in Sandy Shores. Both the real one and GTA's are abandoned. Vice news have done some interesting documentaries on Slab city and Salton Lake California.
Amazing video as always incontrolagain can’t believe you’re 20 and can’t believe we are the same age keep up the great week and hope ur pays of one day
I love your content, i watch the whole video from the start till the end, close youtube and forget about everything but i'm proud of myself that i can watch the whole thing while being entertained, i guess it's always fun to ,,learn'' something new.
Non importa se ormai tutto è stato rivelato su gta 5 tu riesci sempre a trovare qualcosa di nuovo interessante sei un grande ti stimo It doesn't matter if by now everything has been revealed about gta 5 you always manage to find something new interesting you are a great I respect you
1:26 the Badger Building was called Blastin' Fools Records in GTA San Andreas, where it was owned by OG Loc, and was apparently more accurate to its real-life counterpart in terms of actual usage.
I have a few more suggestions for the next one( I live in LA)There is the Fox theater and Bruin Theater from Westwood in real life. There are also many buildings from Santa Monica and Wilshire Blvd in game from west LA and Santa Monica.
I love the mission that takes place at the mile high club 'High priority case' but thinking about it imagine it being similar to the casino where we could purchase our own suite with a balcony, have a bar there it could be a huge social hub for players and maybe have some missions attached to it similar to the casino.
I wish they'd made more interiors in gta 5. Obviously time and money constraints held back development just like in Red Dead 2. I'm guessing gta 6 will have so many properties with interiors we can enter? 😊
Not really a building but Mountain Chiliad and Mountain Gordo would be cool to analyze. Wonder if the real life counterparts have their mysteries as well like the in-game ones.
I’d like to know what the Lombank West building is based off of. I’ve seen pictures of the real life version of it, I just can’t get any information for what it is supposed to used for. EDIT: I found out it’s based on the California Bank & Trust Building in Santa Monica. I actually saw it IRL when I went to California back in June.
@@christinablixthenningsson3529 you know rockrstar may even made them look more like it because in browser of gta you got middle finger to point at things ☠️
The green bridge by the port. Irl it’s fucking massive. I literally got intimidated driving towards it. It has a double arch and the game doesn’t do it justice.
I hate that people want to remove the mile high building. It is a very important "time stamp" for the events shown taking place in game. I believe the year matters re the easter eggs of the larger variety.
Take a shot everytime he says "Building". You will die.
Trevor won't
alright taking a blinker every time he says building lets see how this goes
Bali?
38 times, i had to stop at 11 lmao
“Ok I will”
I imagine it feels weird to live in LA and play gta and like randomly drive to your own home and notice how similar both are

And bomb with rockets
6:23 Ah, so that's why that limited time event based on Die Hard was set on the roof of that particular building. You learn something new everyday.
Yup
Props to Rockstar for carving a replica of los angles in my brain in case i get lost _😭_ ✊🏻
It would be cool if for the final GTA 5 update Rockstar finally finished that one building
You mean the mile high club? Yeah that would be really cool
Fr that would be amazing it would probably surprise most people who play gta 5.
It was finished by modders, some FiveM servers have it finished but I don't believe anybody ever posted a public download link so I have no idea how they got it. ruclips.net/video/VW-8oI5NEZo/видео.html
I would love if GTA VI has updates like that
Ikrr
you and dark viper are the best gta RUclipsrs ever
Man every video you put out is just great and has so much time, love, and research put into it. Keep it up man you truly make some great videos💜
We need another unless info video!!!!!
It’s so weird to play LA Noire and GTA V after each other and see the same places in two completely different eras.
I can't believe you actually never gone to California.. How clearly you were depicting facts about each place it seemed you have visited each one of them very closely. Salute for your research in this one❤️

I mean the GTA Wiki does tell you what each prominent location is based off of...
This is pretty basic research dude...
I'm actually curious about weather the mile high club is supposed to be a huge skyscraper or a place where the player could hang around and chill because in its blue print it's fascinating.
Back with another banger
I could totally see this format as a series of 10 places per video explaining all the real life places, roads and buildings.
I love your videos finally you uploaded again

9:53 The buildings with the neon signs on the roof the one on the right is the building Janet Leigh was living in at the beginning of Psycho

I just got back from a trip to Los Angeles and it’s amazing to see these in game form
There is a building which is supposed to represent a nightclub and hotel. It is called the Sunset Tower and it was used in Netflix show Lucifer.
Aye InControlAgain uploaded a new Video ! u know that its a great day when he uploads a new video !
Fun fact the "Die Hard" building was an event in GTAO, it featured a similar event that happened in the movie
Always a good day when In control again uploads woo
I dare you to cover every single place where a mission happens

I've learned a lot. Thank you for the research.

Some interesting ones would be the richard majestics studio and building, the golf club, and maze bank arena
do more of the natural places in gta such as the alamo sea, mt chiliad, mirror park, the reservoir, the canal, etc
i enjoyed this video. thanks
in GTA online there was actually a die hard easter egg at the weazel plaza during a halloween event week
I had no idea the Playboy Mansion was in GTA. Even with the infamous grotto !!
InControlAgain has possibly broken the first rule

Most iconic map in gaming history
That intro made me laugh so much lol, no one is more qualified than you to talk about America
Say what you want about Rockstar, but the way they replicate real life buildings down to the smallest details is immaculate
You should cover the Kortz center where The Wrap Up mission happens. It’s based off the Getty Museum.
Wow
Love this videos
36 seconds ago is crazy
Man, it's wild how popular GTA5 got that they decided to build an entire city using the buildings from the game.
3:06 That’s actually not a random joke name. Dick is the drummer of Love Fist and he actually appears in person in some missions in GTA Vice City.
Considering there's TV could been from Republican Space Ranger.
ive always wondered what these buildings are
Should’ve include maze bank, it is supposed to resemble the U.S. bank in bunker hill, Los Angeles
Return of the goat
new incontrolagain video yay !!!!!!!
You could cover some country side buildings too
Hey i loved ur video i rember when u played on xbox with me and my friend
It's the building from GTA
It is amazing how rockstar games put in so much effort for details of buildings, i can’t wait to see what they do with Vice City in GTA 6
I heard that people have all ready seen gta 6 buildings in Miami, i have no idea where this comes from.
The Tequila-la is based on the Whiskey à Go Go bar on Sunset Boulevard
7:48 i still think thats Something else i think you know what i mean 8:13 too
Oh... i get it.

It’d be cool having an analysis on gta tv and how it parody real life
The green bridge by the port. Irl it’s fucking massive. I literally got intimidated driving towards it. It has a double arch and the game doesn’t do it justice.
For me my favorite digital version of L.A. is definitely L.A. NOIRE
Great video, twenty-year old British guy.
World building is definitely something you gotta give credit to R* to, can tell they did their research.
The casino was released 4 years ago already, damn
Fox Plaza will always be Nakatomi Plaza to me thanks to Die Hard
One of my favourite movies ever
Fun Glitches for every patch series coming back?
for fans LA was inspired by GTA
8:07 It was the Police station in Beverly Hills Cop
They should’ve finished the mile high club building. Could’ve been done in the contract update or another update
Now I want to move there even more
I hate that people want to remove the mile high building.

Maybe make an episode of only the skyscrapers
Finallyyyyy

The Irish city of limerick was called " stab city " random bit of trivia for you 🤔 😊
When are you going to make part 3 of a truly crimeless run
awesome
Do this will with Gta 4 and you will have a 2 hour documentary about buildings in New York
