Great video, it’s not all about the wins it’s about the moments. My 3 year old and I made the trip to Plattsburgh and met you on Saturday afternoon at the tanks right before weigh in. Might have been a tough week but you made one 3 year old very happy. He has his signed hat hanging next to his bed. After a fun packed weekend of nice boats, big fish, and many activities he proudly says that the best part of the whole trip was meeting Scott Martin.
That is so awesome! It was great meeting y’all!

I just wanted to say thank you to Anglers like yourself, and in my childhood your father, Bob and Wayne Izumi as well.
I was fortunate enough to get your dad's autograph on one of his spinner baits in the package, which he gave me, during my first tournament at Rice Lake Ontario in 1986. Wayne was also kind enough to take me for a spin after the final weigh in on day 2, in their Ranger boat. I was 12 at the time, and it meant the world to me.
Unfortunately however, it was also my last ever tournament, as my father passed the following January.
The memories I see you making with random kids in your videos means more than you could possibly know. Thank you to yourself & all the pros like you.

Went to a couple weigh ins when Scott, David D, Smoke etc were still fishing FLW. Was a great time and most all the guys were awesome with me, my dad and most importantly my daughter. Great sport to take part in and to be a fan of. Especially when we are lucky enough Vermonters to live on or nearby the best lake in the country IMO. :)
@@NamathCB Yes, agreed - I have a lot of respect for scott and the rest of them. The conditions were tough this tournament, it's been hit or miss all summer really, but even with a tough tournament (for his standards) he still managed to keep a smile on and connect with the fans - my little man hasn't stopped talking about it. I've been to many bodies of water across the country, and while i'm biased, we are extremely fortunate to have lake champlain in our backyard, and the St Lawrence just a few hours east. Unfortunately not everyone appreciates it like you and I do, but it is awesome to see how much appreciation and respect these professionals have for it along with us. Scott and many of the rest of them are Class Acts. Have a nice day!
