Yup, sounds good bud and you're going in the right direction. Loudest and best sound? Well that's relative and if you like it then it's the best. Had a 1994 GMC with the TBI 350ci, same exhaust tube size, and just different packs. I'd say the tips are the same but at least mine came out flush to the sides where yours are tucked in. Anyway, longer stainless mesh "mufflers" can be louder and carry a lower tone where yours seem short glass-filled with that slight crackle that some folks love. Lower tones carry greater distance so it's not always good since everyone knew where I was in town. Those look 12" where I think my "louder" ones were 18" or 24". Eventually went to Flowmaster 40's and it still sounded about the same. It was all in the tips I was told and getting them out from under the bed let the rumble loose did most of the work. But again, it's the crackle or the rumble when it comes to your own flavor or sound and as you stated, it's SOOOO damned hard to record exhaust noise in order to compare. Not all agree that exhaust sounds matter, but everyone I know said they liked that specific truck's style and sound. It's part of the character and it fit the driver. Current wife still misses it and HATES ricer and Camaro fake exhaust sounds. But yours sounds really good and natural. Maybe it's just a V8 and not taking them over the top and going crazy with it all?
Ive got almost the same setup on mine, 2.5" no cats and 8" glasspacks to 5" tips. Its definitely rowdy, think im going to switch to some like 18" glasspacks soon though, gets to be obnoxious just trying to casually drive day to day
Hey Bo Imma big fan and have followed u for a while (on everything lol) and love the obs, I’ve got the same one and was wondering if u could make a vid of how you detail ur truck and what u use and maybe a vid of your interior too
I have an '89 gmc sierra, 350 TBI, honestly thinking about a straight pipe or open headers conversion. Or possibly a shortened exhaust with a muffler. I want it to rumble like the future hot rod its gonna be. Gonna find a set of LTZ Escalade rims for it. Once i get her painted, it'll be a quick frame recoat, then i may pull the engine out of Dads old truck to get a spare engine to build.
it sounds really good and it’s pretty loud, but my OBS that I used to have is a lot louder but it also has headers straight pipes with like 2 inch exhaust piping but I like the way this one sounds what mufflers do you have glass packs?
We can do a comparison in 2 weeks lol i got true dual straights 3inch pipes 6 inch tips and neighborhater glass packs and I'm waiting on the long tube headers
Nah bud my obs way louder i got no cats or nothing total flow bullet mufflers stage 3 cam short headers custom like wtf Is up as e teenagers thinking u the loudest 🤣🤣🤣
U have loud exhaust yea that's cool its also illegal just like the stupid ass squatted trucks but over all I do like the truck the tires are sick I have a ninty eight chevy silverado and it's got Flowmaster and it sounds good but if this is what u like the drive the shit out of it but I'm telling u the older u get the more u are going to be like wtf am I thinking
That's officially my dream truck
i just bought a 91 chevy scottsdale k2500 and im so excited to put an exhuast on it. Truck sounds amazing!

Question how does it ride on this specific set up
when the tires warm up they ride fine, just rough when they’re cold
What’s ur lift setup
6” rc with 3” rc keys half cranked, no blocks, pulled leaf
@@obs.austin hy my truck is on 3” spindles and keys they guy said they are 3” keys but they are maxed and sit like stock keys but I wanna do a lift
I need the head and oil pan from the civic
buy the car
No I think my dad has the loudest truck because he's always getting pulled over on how loud it is
Sounds like a ragged out 600000k mile silage truck and looks like its squatting to take a shit
