I'm with her & I can't wait to move to Tampa. My family & I went to Clearwater & Brandon & we loved it. So we're already checking out homes in that area. I love the sunshine.
I moved from NYC to Tampa, FL in 2012. I definitely liked Tampa and met some great people there but one of the things that did make me move away eventually was all that raiiiiinnnnnn every summer and the hurricanes. OMG! If you can deal with on and off rain almost daily for 3 to 4 months a year, Tampa is for you. I got tired of it!
@@GarganoA it’s the most depressing place I’ve ever experienced! The only reason I’m still here is my job pays the most I’ve ever made and I’ve never been better off financially but my mental health has gone to 💩! I’m honestly willing to take a small pay cut just to get back to Tampa
@@nunyafawkingbiz Do what you've got to do. Pay in Tampa has probably increased because of all the people moving there and all the positions that need to be filled in various companies.
Awesome video as usua! Hey Adams, would you please kindly do a video comparing moving to Tampa and moving to Clearwater, just like you did for Tampa and St. Pete, my my prior suggestion/request.b
There are No winters here...the temperatures during winter is usually, beautiful low 70° is the coldest; it did get to under 58° this past winter. However, the summers are awful, just as bad as winters; 98° with over 78° humidity which makes it feel over 100° So, outdoor sports are dangerous esp. for the youngsters and seniors. Lets Not forget during the summer the horrible hurricanes; torrid rains & thunderstorms and flooding everywhere. It's scary!!!
Id say that’s because people are coming from different areas with different salaries. What is affordable to one person isnt necessarily affordable to another. The average home price is just over $400k here. You can find new construction homes starting in the high $300ks but again that doesnt feel affordable to some.
@@ebarman11 absolutely. All depends on whats important to you along with proximity to things and budget. Love the downtown area, riverwalk and neighborhoods with easy access to the city.
We actually shot that video in ybor (the rooftop interviews) if that helps. Its def safe to explore during the day but at night it changes. Def dont want to say its unsafe but so you know what to expect… ybor is our heavy party scene… think bourbon street in a way.

Thanks for the Dallas interview. I’m thinking about relocating to Tampa or Austin from Dallas and his perspective was reasonable.

Its really conflicting with so much conflicting content. people are posting how it's too expensive for middle class in most tampa areas

What area did your Chicago family buy? Safe, in city, and golf?
Mixed bag… land o lakes and close to wesley chapel.
Tampa good for young adults? If so, which areas? Thanks!

How is Ybor City Tampa? Is it safe, decent area? I’m looking at homes there but I’m not familiar with the area.

Ybor City is the one place I miss since moving away from Tampa. Great area.
