I've been watching a lot of softwash videos, and I think this one is one of the more informative videos on here. Describing it as an affordable home improvement is brilliant.
Your absolutely correct. We do it every two years. We don't have much of a problem but we wash our windows once a year as well. Our home is brick, we maintain it as it arises instead of putting it off and have upgraded everything. Our home is paid for. We are now having low maintenance yard, trees and landscaping. We only have to do that once a year. I like these done and then we move on to something else. I am 65 and my husband is 70.
That should matter! Seriously, why steal from the dreams of home owners? Their not stupid, see past the sales and non sence and if its their home respect their wishes! Think of how you would want to be treated in your home! Awesome work!!! Feels good. Hopefully our Reno will continue to go well here and I can make a choose for our own bathroom considering I can build it myself, I just like including other people just not at the cost of having to make quick choices because of grey non sence
Great job Mr. Blackmon. Softwashing is a lot safer than traditional pressure washing for the customers property as well as the pressure washing technician. I'm sure your customers love Pressure Kleen Power Washing Service up there in North Carolina.
I power washed my patio..then my walks around the house..then the driveway...I couldn't stop. The next day I did the sidewalk. I found it so satisfing. Lol
Do we have to soap the house first and then rinse or it doesn’t matter ? Also we can mix Clorox and soap ? Or we can’t ? Can you explain step by step what I have to do to wash my house and
I got a guy washing the outside of our house....really shocked to see him not use a ladder....Now I know, and can totally respect that. I used to do pest control, and I had to get up on ladders frequently- not always safe nor fun. Cheers!

Nice job. Since I'm older, I have to make it as easy on myself as possible. I pre spray the house down with outdoor bleach mixed with a little heavy duty Dawn. And in minutes, the stuff just melts off. And then I just rinse. And I love watching everything become clean again. :)
Mildew ate the fiber out of our composite siding. You may think the mildew is just sitting there, but it can damage your siding. If you have a lot of mildew issues, you may need Hardy plank, or equivalent. In fact, we couldn't use a hard pressure washer on parts of our siding since it was so compromised.
Exactly...these organisms growing on the side of houses is alive, and like all living organisms, they need to eat and pass waste. Very few people actually realize this isn't just an eye sore, it is physically damaging the house, as well as the air around the house. Ever wonder just how many square feet of petri dish that house and roof are? Think of it in those terms and you start to realize how much algae, bacteria and mold are actually in the air where you spend so much of your life. I do soft washing using a 12 volt pump and have won several jobs because of exactly the issue you mention - when people realize the only thing holding the visible exterior of their home together is the paint and the siding underneath is compromised, and very little pressure can rip it apart if you lose focus for a moment. Sorry, not trying to hack on pressure washers, but sometimes homes like you mentioned literally need a little TLC.
He never said anything about vinyl siding, although there are plenty of other types of siding that can be damaged by organic growth. You need to be plenty careful using pressure on vinyl siding too though. It can get an oxidized layer and too much pressure can leave wand marks, even in vinyl, leaving your vinyl two very different shades of the same color, oxidized and not.

C'mon people. Stop asking what soap, what chemicals, what machine etc. He's showing you the quality of the work his company does not showing you how to do it yourself. He's not going to give up any "trade secrets" or "proprietary info" nor should he.
Amazing wash. Shows what can be done when using a professional, professional cleaners and gently. I noticed that was not high pressure you must have some good cleaners. That took 1/2 the time or less than trying to wash it myself with the DIY from the store. Good job, wished you were where I live, this would be well worth the money and eliminate the risk of me hurting myself or damaging my house. Good job.
I just put this on our big TV in our living room so my mother and wife could see it. They thought I was nuts, but watching that nasty mold and mildew come off so easily is interesting to me.
This is why its so important as a homeowner to maintenance a home, this vinyl siding gets so filthy with all the weather elements year around. So many single family homes that look like this around america some probably worst.

I was just watching a video of a lady standing outside of her house and all I could think of was how bad the house needed to be pressure washed, I normally wouldn't even notice or care but for some reason It just really bothered me, so here I am watching this video instead.
Great job, not what I'd call a 'how to' vid though, more of a commercial for his business. It would be nice to know the details of what tools/product with links were used to achieve these results but I get it, not going to give out company secrets for a commercial.

And, why not have a little pride in your house and surroundings? Having clean property says a lot about what kind of people you are. For crying out loud, let him get one. Since I'm the one that does that kind of stuff around here, my hubby knows better than tell me no!! My grandpa always said, you can't help being poor, but that doesn't mean you have to be dirty.

Soft washing is a good technique on homes in bad conditions, not very dirty, or material that can't handle a rough pressure cleaning.

On an average your water bill only goes up 5 dollars using a good pressure washer
Still way cheaper than hiring someone to powerwash your house and driveway. It will pay itself
