- Racing driver Vicki Butler-Henderson, Millennial Rachael Hogg, and mum Erin Baker (REV) are testing three of the UK's most exciting sports cars, based on how people search for them at Auto Trader.
They're looking at how easily they can fit into your lifestyle, covering practicality, connectivity, and ride and handling.
The cars this week are the muscly Ford Mustang, the powerful Porsche Boxster and amazing BMW M4.
This week, Rachael gets flung around the track by Vicki, while Erin gets a bit car sick in the back: she’s used to being in the driver’s seat.

What a surprise.. a European drive team puts the mustang last place.. for those who think the mustang is slower, that's also a lie. Go look up mustang gt vs BMW m4.. the GT wins every race. Even a 40 mph roll out. In 15 years see which of those three is still rolling around... Porsche and BMW will be in the junk yard or on some used lot with all the problems of a eurocar.. and that mustang will still be in someone's garage in good shape...

That mustang yes the new 2018 mustang GT you can go check MotorTrend and see the numbers for yourself. I'm sorry girls I don't think this is a fair comparison... the Mustang GT got a huge update for 2018 (10 speed auto/the engine has been improved torque was also increased/dual exhaust system is stock) 460 HP is a huge difference compared to that sad 416 hp car you guys call a mustang in europe no offense it's just not the same... and this is not even talking about the performance packages since you have a competition package M4...

Why use m4 cost like 40k in the u.s if the newer mustang Gt can be 20k .-. BMW isnt worth that much

That's exactly what I was thinking (460 HP /0 to 60 MPH in 3.9 seconds) it would of even sounded the best...

M4, now that the Porsche is a 4 cylinder. I don't care how fast it is if it has the character of a fridge
That seems pretty ignorant to say given that it gives you everything you'd want from the H6 as well as better gas mileage.
What you need is a 981 Boxster S PDK Chrono, which is exactly the same as the 718 Boxster S PDK Chrono, but has the fantastic naturally aspirated 3.4 litre 6 cylinder. slower than the 718, but still 0-60 4.2 secs.
Bollocks! The Mustang is half the price and twice the fun, and with the auto it's just as quick. And, it's a N/A V8!

The Beemer is just a 4 seater family car usually found in a supermarket car park. There are billions of them on the road collecting bird poop. Hey...but this one has a souped up engine and big wheels! It's laughable to say it's in the same league as the Porsche - a true thoroughbred sports car.
The next time someone driving a Porsche pulls up next to you in your bmw family/rep-mobile with an "m" on the back, remove your obligitory sun glasses and look at him. You'll notice a certain, very satisfied look on his face, because he feels like a God in comparison to you!

"Von 0 auf 100 km/h sprinten die S-Modelle mit PDK und Launch Control in nur 4.2 s." This is from porsche.com so 4 seconds dead is very impressive, especially in the wet.
Porsche are well know for underestimating their 0-60 times as are Honda, BMW, Mercedes etc, most likely for insurance reasons.

BMW always over estimate their performance figures.

I was expecting more when I saw VBH. But it's kinda disappointing.... More like a fashion show...
VBH a decent wheel spinner but couldn't be classed as a true racing driver. Not a review to be taken seriously.
Hahaha Vicki Butler is sitting there revving the engine like a feather is on her foot. Erin baker is like rev it with some meaning. I would have love to see Erin behind the wheel and see her push her foot to the floor and rev it like it should be revved.

Yeah a league below the Porsche
Wish Porsche kept the natural breathing flat 6, or even the turbo flat 6 in the Cayman and Boxsters. But I suppose the cut in displacement sells better in Asia (although clearly not well in America), keeps the Cayman slower than the 911 still. While still fulfilling emissions (if u drive like a bycicle I suppose).
But the passion is just gone...Still the same agile and capable car. But the soul feels gone
So buy the previous "981" 6 cylinder Boxster S (PDK with Chrono is the most desired). Prices are holding very firm though, and it's clear why that is.
