In 1986 I was 16 years(was not a SDA-did not even knew there was a GOD)someone shared The desire of ages/messages to young people/patriarchs and prophets-I read them and came to the conclusion that what Ellen white wrote had to be inspired/had to be messages from GOD to us sinners. I knew and accepted JESUS Christ through her books which lead me to the book of BOOKS -the BIBLE. Since then I do believe that because I gave my life to JESUS from a early young age-JESUS has rewarded me greatly/through his Angels GOD has saved me from death in this life many times. Since I decided to follow the health counsels from GOD-now at my age(45) GOD has honored me-I have none of the disease that are killing people in our times(heart disease/high blood pressure/diabetes/obesity etc) To GOD be the Glory !!!

C 19 Just baptized on may 16th. My wife who was studying with SDA did it too. I never have been into a SDA church before may 14th. But the words that the pastor gave that night spoke to me. I was an Atheist but I was called I can say. I don't know if anyone would understand or believe me but I felt that I had to do it. I found peace and tranquility I was looking for a long time.

All I have ever asked of her critics and anyone else, is to read probably one of the smallest books she wrote- it's called STEPS TO CHRIST. It's so small it can be read in a few hours and then people can make informed criticism or enhance their faith. That book changed my life, and made me want to read pretty much everything she wrote. I haven't even gone halfway through all her writings but I will confess that there is no way a simple human can pen such inspirational material just by themselves, from nowhere. You miss out on this material at your own peril. Ellen white is NOT Jesus, but a great representative of HIS. Read her material and contrast with your biblical knowledge and vice versa, and you will discover there is no conflict/contrast, whatsoever.

It may be due to embarrassment because she had false doctrines/heresies. It has been alleged that some SDA pastors don't believe all that she said, and won't inform their church members about it. Her main teachings are NOT found in the New Testament, and Jesus never mentioned them, including the fact that there is no command of Christ to keep the sabbath day in the New Testament. Ellen White is like a popess to them because, like the pope, she seems to be infallible as it were. She invented heresies, and her followers swallow the extra biblical revelations that aren't mentioned by the Lord or the New Testament. It's like Jesus and his word aren't enough for these people, they accept something else that's ADDED that seemingly makes them feel special. I'm a seventh day Adventist and It may be hard for you guys to believe but im telling you...shes a prophet of God. And she really did have a vision. Her visions are REAL!! It came right from scriptures. How could she be a false prophet if she points right from the bible? she is not delusional or a liar!! God give her a gift of prophecy. I have recently discovered "Steps to Christ" by Ellen White. I could not stop reading until I finished this book; a book that was undoubtedly written by one who was divinely inspired.

It is amazing how much effort satan ans his followers make, to discredit this wonderful and wise Prophet of the 19th century...her advise on health, education and everything is very modern even in our century, everything she writes about is perfectely in accordance with the WORD of GOD. I'm afraid you're completely wrong Maria, and if you have the patience I will gladly show you why. To start with, let's talk about how false teachings such as those taught by Adventists can seem "biblical" when in actual fact they directly contradict scripture. One thing that makes this possible is when you take an argument that is "based on scripture" and use it to nullify something that scripture explicitly says. This should NEVER be done, especially when it concerns core doctrines! Another thing that makes it possible is by going "beyond what is written" or adding someting to the text that might seem perfectly reasonable from a human point of view, but isn't actually there. Scripture is complete. No one should ever feel the need to add to it in order to defend one's doctrine. Let me give you a couple of examples of clear scriptures that are nullified by arguments that are merely extrapolated from the biblical text. This is what scripture EXPLICITLY says: "Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." (Romans 10:4) "But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law." (Galatians 5:18) "For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God." (Galatians 2:19) Adventists circumvent these scriptures by using arguments, such as "since the 10 commandments were written on stone and placed within the Ark of the Covenant then that teaches us that they are 'permanent' commands". Is that what scripture says? No, nowhere does scripture say anything like that at all! It assumes that God somehow forgot to put it in scripture and therefore someone else is required to explain the "truth". What the Bible actually says about the permenance of the old covenant "engraved in stone" is that is was "fading", being replaced by a conventant that "lasts": "Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!" (2 Cor 3:7-11) Now that might tempt you to bring up Matt 5:17 which teaches us that the law was not being abolished, or that not a jot or tittle would disappear from the law, but that is more a problem for Adventists who quite falsely claim that there is some kind of separation between moral and ceremonial laws, which is another thing that they add to scripture. The fact of the matter is that you cannot just rip out part of the OT laws and throw them into the new covenant unless there is a specific verse that teaches us that they still apply. For example, scripture EXPLICITLY teaches us that we are to obey the Law of Christ - to believe in the son of God and to love each other. That is the law for Christians. Another thing that scripture EXPLICITLY says is that the sabbath was only a shadow, the reality being in Christ. How do Adventists get around this? Once again they are forced to add to scripture saying, without the slightest scriptural support, that the verse in question is only talking about an annual sabbath! Why add to scripture? Why wouldn't the Holy Spirit inspire Paul to include the word annual. I can show you what the reality is, if you want. It is written in scripture, but not many people seem to realize it. Now I challenge you, or any other Adventist (which I have done for a while now) to defend the teachings of this church without going beyond what is written. So far, no one has succeded, and the fact that it cannot be done should raise a gigantic red flas for you!
Seems like you have dedicated all your life to proof SDAs wrong. As smart as you sound, you need a Bible study yourself. You make your own interpretations. Remember The Bible interprets itself! You are right, God's love summed up in love: Mat 22:37-40; love God with all your heart that is the first 4 commandments, and love your neighbor, that is the second part of the commandments,mwhich isnno: t-10. This tells you how to love God and others...do the 10 comm and you are not under the law. If you don't do, then you are condemned under the law! The law is there to make you free if you choose not to disobey it! The Bible not only warns us about being deceived, it points out things that could be, not necessarily are, but could be, the source of doctrinal error. The old testament was a message that Paul distinguishes as being "spoken by angels" as opposed to the words of the very Son of God. Adventists seemed to think that during the 1800's it was time to go back to the testimony of angels, despite the fact that Paul explicitly warned us about following the testimony of angels. He also warned about women teaching, just as he warned about infiltration of the church by false brothers. He also taught us as about adhering to fine-sounding arguments in preference to sound doctrine. Adventism is guilty of ignoring all of these warnings. Now you assume that I have "dedicated all my life to proving SDAs wrong". You have absolutely NO idea how wrong you could be. You simply assume, based on your prejudices. In actual fact I only started looking into this issue somewhere around the start of November last year. But you are free to believe what you want. Just bear in mind that your words, and my words will be taken into account and use to testify against us. I know what I have done and am not ashamed of the gospel. Now you say, completely void of ANY scriptural support that if we do the 10 commandments then we are not under the law. What the Bible says in contrast to this is that if we are led by the Spirit then we are not under the law. You of course can cliam that these two things are equivalent, but that makes it your opinion, and nothing else. You are also guilty of distoring the truth. You say that "if 10 comm is done away with, it is okay to lie, steal and kill your neighbors......right???". WRONG!!! The fact that we are not under the Mosaic law can NEVER be used to make the totally unscriptural claim that it is OK to lie, steal, kill and so on. Why? Because we are not "lawless" as you have been deceived to believe, but are under the Law of Christ and to follow the Spirit! If the Spirit led us to do these things then you would have a point. Futhermore, saying something like that would be like saying that if someone falsely accused of child molestation and who had to wear a monitoring device around his ankle would start molesting children as soon the device was removed! Someone who is NOT a child molester does not need to be restrained by laws that were compiled to supervise child molesters! Read 1 Timothy 1:9 and perhaps you will understand these issues, instead of drawing conclusion fed to you by your Adventist teachers. We are free from the mosaic law because we have been born again.

Thank you for this video because I know that Ellen White is a prophet of God but it so disappointing to hear so many speak ill of her. It goes to show how many people are lost. We must keep them in prayer saints.
Eric Montiel I pray to our Creator each morning and each evening. I do not pray to Ellen White. I do read her material and find it very helpful. Before speaking ill of her try and read one of her books. She has never from what I have read from her added to or taken away from the word of Jehovah. She is to lead us back to the commandments of God not away from them. I am a new Adventist 3.5 years now. I never had an Adventist teach me anything. I didn't even know who the Adventist were until I started keeping the Bible and knowing the commandments of God. Until I opened the word of God myself and I say how much I was transgressing the Laws of God I knew not Ellen or the Adventist. God's word speaks for its self.. Moongold7 - I 100% agree with you. As a 4th generation SDA I have become sad to see the GC become so obstinate against God's word. I also watch Saved to Serve, I discovered them in late 2014 to early 2015. They have become a blessing since there is no local SDA church that is keeping in line with the bible. I hate to see people judge us according to the GC's churches and then turn away from truth. I like to find fellow SDA's that are like me.

The whole reason for her ministry was to point true seekers toward the holy Bible as the foundation of all true faith, doctrine and practice. Millions of us have found that her commentary is both inspired and inspiring, and is eminently helpful to clarify the meaning of the scriptures. If you don't, that's fine. Stick with the Bible, sola scriptura!

White (EGW) wrote: "In these letters which I write, in the testimonies I bear, I am presenting to you that which the Lord has presented to me. They are what God has opened before me in vision--the precious rays of light shining from the throne."-Testimonies, Vol. 5 p. 67. As biology is concerned cross species breeding produces offspring if they belong to the same genus, and the hybrid usually dies young or sterile, hence EGW is wrong. And she claims her testimonies are from god, but she's wrong. Conclusion, they are not from god.
God can use the unlearned to confound the wise.. She had only an elementary education and wrote many inspiring and corrective writings to point to Jesus Christ and the Bible. And yet like many of those who have done God's special work - end up very hated and only appreciated by so few. Her health knowledge was far beyond the doctors of her time. And she was instrumental in establishing hospitals in the U S and abroad. God uses people such as her to validate His Word as found in the Bible. All other religions have their founders....go and criticize them too...It's amazing how much is produced against her rather than for good she has done for the world as shown in this video! Hi Eric, I don't think many people who criticize the doctrines of EGW do so on the grounds that she was "unlearned", but for other reasons. I have challenged adventists, both "unlearned" and others who are very well versed in scripture, such as Victor Hulbert, to defend this theology by abiding to some very basic rules. For example, I claim that for a doctrine to be considered "biblical", it is not enough to just salt it with long strings of verses from the Bible. That proves nothing. What a biblical doctrine would need to do is: 1. Not contradict or break scripture in any way whatsoever. 2. Not add or subtract anything from scripture. 3. Not go beyond what is written. 4. Harmonize completely with everything written in scripture, and 5. Not allow human reasoning, or "fine-sounding arguments", to nullify scripture. I have a theology that keeps all of those rules completely. If I can do so, then why have I never been able to find one single proponent of SDA that can? Not even Victor Hulbert could meet that challenge. Obviously something is wrong. BTW, I see you have a swedish name. Do you live in Sweden? Or did your forefathers come from Sweden?
Paul Brennan I do not know this Victor Hulbert, but there are countless other SDA who can satisfy your entirely valid measures of biblical congruency with SDA beliefs. If SDA doctrine is anything, it is consistent with the entire arch of scriptural teaching, unlike most other Christian denominations who still cling to some of the pagan teaching borrowed by the apostatizing church of the early to middle ages.

There are many verses in the NT that show that the Mosaic covenant no longer applies to Christians just as there are many verses that show that the 10 commandments specifically belonged to that covenant. We simply don't agree with your reading of the NT when you assert that the law of God passed away along with the ceremonial laws that were a "shadow" of the reality, Jesus Christ. Ellen White never came up with the Investigative Judgment, nor the doctrine from which it is a part of. Let me recommend you pick up some Adventist history books. A good one might be the six volume Ellen G White Biography set written by her grandson, Arthur White.

I am a better writer than Ellen White. I write about what I can logically derive from Scripture. My insights into the laodicean eye salve, the raiment of Revelation 3:18, and the original definition of faith in the Hebrew Language is vital to all believers today. But I do make mistakes. I do not perfectly word everything. I believe God is leading me but I do not claim to be the final Elijah. Ellen G. White claimed she saw in vision the Father rise from his throne and in a flaming chariot entered the holiest of holies behind the veil and sat down. How can this be when God and his throne IS the holiest of holies? Ellen White also wrote (in Early Writings) that man amalgamated with beast as can be seen in the endless variety of species of animals and in some races of men. There is no doubt in my mind that Ellen White loved the Lord, but young Ellen was left hospitalized in a coma for three weeks which may have caused her to suffer for some kind of delusion of which little was known at the time.

As a young financially struggling woman in this day of age.. How I hope that I can fully achieve that whole food diet. That no dairy, no meat diet. Its not mostly because of lack of temperance but more like the financial capacity to live up to the financial demands of this diet esp if you live in the heart of the city, and even if having already a farm, sometimes it still is not possible to complete all that's needed in the diet. So sometimes you can't help but outsource from the meaty shelves. Esp here in the Ph and the pandemic, it's still all such a struggle. I pray that we can all go to Heaven meet our Lord and Savior and finally granted that access to the Fruity and veggie vastness.

If you read her writings she pointed everyone for the rest of her life to the messages given to the people in the years of 1840-1844 by William Miller. Those were the messages that converted her. From then on she preached the 3 angels messages found in Rev 14:6-11. These messages also happen to be the everlasting gospel as seen in verse 6. Which is the 3 step testing prophetic message that produces two classes of people, one that follows God and all His commandments and another who refuses Him and therefore partake of His judgments. She had the same message the prophets in the Bible had. The message of turning back to the true religion of the Bible. This message the prophets had to speak before a stubborn people who did not accept their message but stoned them. This is the difficulty of her life. Baring a message to a stubborn stiff necked people.

It started in Eden and will go to the end of time. It's this prophetic message you see that shows people with the help of Jesus you can put sin out of your life and be saved. Tried, purified, made white. Again this was all in the messages of 1840-1844. All throughout the Bible every time there is a great reform a small group of God's people who keep his commandments are his pure church. Then they start to welcome more and more sin and every time by the 4 the generation God's judgment comes down on them except again a small group who decide to keep His commandments. That remnant goes on to be the pure church. The 3 angels messages she says are the important waymarks that came down starting 1798 with the first Angel and the 2nd and 3rd in 1844. Read EW, SM, and GC. That history is all there. Those are the old paths that we have to look to. Those are the messages that when given produced 2 classes of people like they have from the beginning and like they will until the End.

What present church do you that preaches those messages? Wouldn't it be like the enemy of souls to hide that important history from our eyes? In 1986 I was 16 years(was not a SDA-did not even knew there was a GOD)someone shared The desire of ages/messages to young people/patriarchs and prophets-I read them and came to the conclusion that what Ellen white wrote had to be inspired/had to be messages from GOD to us sinners.
I knew and accepted JESUS Christ through her books which lead me to the book of BOOKS -the BIBLE.
Since then I do believe that because I gave my life to JESUS from a early young age-JESUS has rewarded me greatly/through his Angels GOD has saved me from death in this life many times.
Since I decided to follow the health counsels from GOD-now at my age(45) GOD has honored me-I have none of the disease that are killing people in our times(heart disease/high blood pressure/diabetes/obesity etc)

C 19 Just baptized on may 16th. My wife who was studying with SDA did it too. I never have been into a SDA church before may 14th. But the words that the pastor gave that night spoke to me. I was an Atheist but I was called I can say. I don't know if anyone would understand or believe me but I felt that I had to do it. I found peace and tranquility I was looking for a long time.

All I have ever asked of her critics and anyone else, is to read probably one of the smallest books she wrote- it's called STEPS TO CHRIST. It's so small it can be read in a few hours and then people can make informed criticism or enhance their faith. That book changed my life, and made me want to read pretty much everything she wrote. I haven't even gone halfway through all her writings but I will confess that there is no way a simple human can pen such inspirational material just by themselves, from nowhere. You miss out on this material at your own peril. Ellen white is NOT Jesus, but a great representative of HIS. Read her material and contrast with your biblical knowledge and vice versa, and you will discover there is no conflict/contrast, whatsoever.

It may be due to embarrassment because she had false doctrines/heresies. It has been alleged that some SDA pastors don't believe all that she said, and won't inform their church members about it.
Her main teachings are NOT found in the New Testament, and Jesus never mentioned them, including the fact that there is no command of Christ to keep the sabbath day in the New Testament.
Ellen White is like a popess to them because, like the pope, she seems to be infallible as it were. She invented heresies, and her followers swallow the extra biblical revelations that aren't mentioned by the Lord or the New Testament. It's like Jesus and his word aren't enough for these people, they accept something else that's ADDED that seemingly makes them feel special. It surely is a delusion because they're like zealous pharisees fetishizing the sabbath day like it's some kind of ticket to heaven.

I have recently discovered "Steps to Christ" by Ellen White. I could not stop reading until I finished this book; a book that was undoubtedly written by one who was divinely inspired.
Sister Ellen is a teacher. Yes, she is gone, but, she will not be forgotten.
A Pastor and Conference president said whenever he is down in spirit, he reads Ellen G White Step to Christ. Powerful little book.

From 1844 to 2015 we have grown to 18,000,000 members world wide and growing faster than any other church.
At the first General Conference session in 1863 in Battle Creek, Michigan, 20 delegates representing six local conferences were in attendance. At that time we had a membership of 3,500 in 125 churches, with 22 ordained ministers and eight licensed ministers.

It is amazing how much effort satan ans his followers make, to discredit this wonderful and wise Prophet of the 19th century...her advise on health, education and everything is very modern even in our century, everything she writes about is perfectely in accordance with the WORD of GOD. No doubt at all that she was enlightened by GOD and she dedicated her life to work for God, opening schools and hospitals, to educate and save souls to our Lord Jesus Christ.
I'm afraid you're completely wrong Maria, and if you have the patience I will gladly show you why. To start with, let's talk about how false teachings such as those taught by Adventists can seem "biblical" when in actual fact they directly contradict scripture. One thing that makes this possible is when you take an argument that is "based on scripture" and use it to nullify something that scripture explicitly says. This should NEVER be done, especially when it concerns core doctrines! Another thing that makes it possible is by going "beyond what is written" or adding someting to the text that might seem perfectly reasonable from a human point of view, but isn't actually there. Scripture is complete. No one should ever feel the need to add to it in order to defend one's doctrine.
Let me give you a couple of examples of clear scriptures that are nullified by arguments that are merely extrapolated from the biblical text. This is what scripture EXPLICITLY says:
"Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." (Romans 10:4)
"But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law." (Galatians 5:18)
"For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God." (Galatians 2:19)
Adventists circumvent these scriptures by using arguments, such as "since the 10 commandments were written on stone and placed within the Ark of the Covenant then that teaches us that they are 'permanent' commands".
Is that what scripture says? No, nowhere does scripture say anything like that at all! It assumes that God somehow forgot to put it in scripture and therefore someone else is required to explain the "truth".
What the Bible actually says about the permenance of the old covenant "engraved in stone" is that is was "fading", being replaced by a conventant that "lasts":
"Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!" (2 Cor 3:7-11)
Now that might tempt you to bring up Matt 5:17 which teaches us that the law was not being abolished, or that not a jot or tittle would disappear from the law, but that is more a problem for Adventists who quite falsely claim that there is some kind of separation between moral and ceremonial laws, which is another thing that they add to scripture.
The fact of the matter is that you cannot just rip out part of the OT laws and throw them into the new covenant unless there is a specific verse that teaches us that they still apply. For example, scripture EXPLICITLY teaches us that we are to obey the Law of Christ - to believe in the son of God and to love each other. That is the law for Christians.
Another thing that scripture EXPLICITLY says is that the sabbath was only a shadow, the reality being in Christ. How do Adventists get around this? Once again they are forced to add to scripture saying, without the slightest scriptural support, that the verse in question is only talking about an annual sabbath! Why add to scripture? Why wouldn't the Holy Spirit inspire Paul to include the word annual.
I can show you what the reality is, if you want. It is written in scripture, but not many people seem to realize it.
Now I challenge you, or any other Adventist (which I have done for a while now) to defend the teachings of this church without going beyond what is written. So far, no one has succeded, and the fact that it cannot be done should raise a gigantic red flas for you!

You are right, God's love summed up in love: Mat 22:37-40; love God with all your heart that is the first 4 commandments, and love your neighbor, that is the second part of the commandments,mwhich isnno: t-10. This tells you how to love God and others...do the 10 comm and you are not under the law. If you don't do, then you are condemned under the law! The law is there to make you free if you choose not to disobey it! So I'm doing all 10 comm to show my love to God and others...how could it be a shadow? common sense, if 10 comm is done away with, it is okay to lie, steal and kill your neighbors......right???

That the teaching you subscribe to just might itself be a deception, rather than those opposed to it? The Bible not only warns us about being deceived, it points out things that could be, not necessarily are, but could be, the source of doctrinal error. The old testament was a message that Paul distinguishes as being "spoken by angels" as opposed to the words of the very Son of God. Adventists seemed to think that during the 1800's it was time to go back to the testimony of angels, despite the fact that Paul explicitly warned us about following the testimony of angels. He also warned about women teaching, just as he warned about infiltration of the church by false brothers. He also taught us as about adhering to fine-sounding arguments in preference to sound doctrine.
Adventism is guilty of ignoring all of these warnings.
Now you assume that I have "dedicated all my life to proving SDAs wrong". You have absolutely NO idea how wrong you could be. You simply assume, based on your prejudices. In actual fact I only started looking into this issue somewhere around the start of November last year. But you are free to believe what you want. Just bear in mind that your words, and my words will be taken into account and use to testify against us. I know what I have done and am not ashamed of the gospel.
Now you say, completely void of ANY scriptural support that if we do the 10 commandments then we are not under the law. What the Bible says in contrast to this is that if we are led by the Spirit then we are not under the law. You of course can cliam that these two things are equivalent, but that makes it your opinion, and nothing else.
You are also guilty of distoring the truth. You say that "if 10 comm is done away with, it is okay to lie, steal and kill your neighbors......right???". WRONG!!! The fact that we are not under the Mosaic law can NEVER be used to make the totally unscriptural claim that it is OK to lie, steal, kill and so on. Why? Because we are not "lawless" as you have been deceived to believe, but are under the Law of Christ and to follow the Spirit! If the Spirit led us to do these things then you would have a point.
Futhermore, saying something like that would be like saying that if someone falsely accused of child molestation and who had to wear a monitoring device around his ankle would start molesting children as soon the device was removed! Someone who is NOT a child molester does not need to be restrained by laws that were compiled to supervise child molesters! Read 1 Timothy 1:9 and perhaps you will understand these issues, instead of drawing conclusion fed to you by your Adventist teachers. We are free from the mosaic law because we have been born again.

Yes, it dawned on my while I was a Sabbath keeper and I realized I was in a cult. I dawned on me that I had wasted my time and my life in a cult. It then dawned on me, that I should repent of spreading false Judaizing gospel and preach Christ, not Moses as the Adventist do.
FROM THERE, I repented with my whole heart and found grace and truth in Christ, not in the legalism. It dawned on me, I should never boast about how great I am, or ever brag or even make the claim that I kept the 10 commandments! It dawned on me how deceived I was to ever say make any claim of righteousness, except in Christ, by his grace and Mercy.

Eric Montiel I pray to our Creator each morning and each evening. I do not pray to Ellen White. I do read her material and find it very helpful. Before speaking ill of her try and read one of her books. She has never from what I have read from her added to or taken away from the word of Jehovah. She is to lead us back to the commandments of God not away from them. I am a new Adventist 3.5 years now. I never had an Adventist teach me anything. I didn't even know who the Adventist were until I started keeping the Bible and knowing the commandments of God. Until I opened the word of God myself and I say how much I was transgressing the Laws of God I knew not Ellen or the Adventist. God's word speaks for its self.. Moongold7 - I 100% agree with you. As a 4th generation SDA I have become sad to see the GC become so obstinate against God's word. I also watch Saved to Serve, I discovered them in late 2014 to early 2015. They have become a blessing since there is no local SDA church that is keeping in line with the bible. I hate to see people judge us according to the GC's churches and then turn away from truth. I like to find fellow SDA's that are like me.

As biology is concerned cross species breeding produces offspring if they belong to the same genus, and the hybrid usually dies young or sterile, hence EGW is wrong. And she claims her testimonies are from god, but she's wrong. Conclusion, they are not from god.

God can use the unlearned to confound the wise.. She had only an elementary education and wrote many inspiring and corrective writings to point to Jesus Christ and the Bible. And yet like many of those who have done God's special work - end up very hated and only appreciated by so few. Her health knowledge was far beyond the doctors of her time. And she was instrumental in establishing hospitals in the U S and abroad. God uses people such as her to validate His Word as found in the Bible. All other religions have their founders....go and criticize them too...It's amazing how much is produced against her rather than for good she has done for the world as shown in this video! When someone is so despised , there must be something so very special about them.
Hi Eric, I don't think many people who criticize the doctrines of EGW do so on the grounds that she was "unlearned", but for other reasons. I have challenged adventists, both "unlearned" and others who are very well versed in scripture, such as Victor Hulbert, to defend this theology by abiding to some very basic rules. For example, I claim that for a doctrine to be considered "biblical", it is not enough to just salt it with long strings of verses from the Bible. That proves nothing. What a biblical doctrine would need to do is:
1. Not contradict or break scripture in any way whatsoever.
2. Not add or subtract anything from scripture.
3. Not go beyond what is written.
4. Harmonize completely with everything written in scripture, and
5. Not allow human reasoning, or "fine-sounding arguments", to nullify scripture.
I have a theology that keeps all of those rules completely. If I can do so, then why have I never been able to find one single proponent of SDA that can? Not even Victor Hulbert could meet that challenge. Obviously something is wrong.
BTW, I see you have a swedish name. Do you live in Sweden? Or did your forefathers come from Sweden?
Paul Brennan I do not know this Victor Hulbert, but there are countless other SDA who can satisfy your entirely valid measures of biblical congruency with SDA beliefs. If SDA doctrine is anything, it is consistent with the entire arch of scriptural teaching, unlike most other Christian denominations who still cling to some of the pagan teaching borrowed by the apostatizing church of the early to middle ages.

I'm afraid that's just not true Patrick. There are many verses in the NT that show that the Mosaic covenant no longer applies to Christians just as there are many verses that show that the 10 commandments specifically belonged to that covenant.
So please, if you think SDA theology conforms to the rules I mentioned above, show me. with scripture. how it's theology is consistant with the above. Your idea that there are "countless" SDAs who can meet that challenge is built on deception. There are none. I have spent over three years trying to find even one, but have not.

We simply don't agree with your reading of the NT when you assert that the law of God passed away along with the ceremonial laws that were a "shadow" of the reality, Jesus Christ. It's a big discussion, not appropriate to this venue. Suffice it to say that IMO, and in the opinion of many scholars both SDA and non SDA, the principles given in the ten commandment law are as enduring as eternity. Of course you disagree. That's okay.

Lea Leandre I do agree with you about the fact that in Christ there is no difference. And Ellen White supported this. She gave money out of her pocket to the colored minister who was poor. But you have to understand that discrimination is not in the passage you quoted. To understand you have to know the time when this was written. It has to do with the problems which inevitably will arise from mixed marriages. Most of the people out there are racist and therefore is advisable not to enter into such a marriage.

Persecution is a promise for anyone who believes in God and decides to stand for truth. In Jesus' day and probably still today Jews and Samaritans had no communication. Yet Jesus challenged those discriminatory practices by bringing the good news to a Samaritan woman. He did not do it in the cover of darkness neither. He sat with that woman in the middle of the day when anyone could see him.

We see this same pattern of “Water (BAPTISM) and Spirit (Laying of Hands)” when new converts were entering the Early Church in Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-17. In Acts 9:17-18 St. Paul received Baptism and “Laying of Hands”, and then gave the Holy Spirit in this same way in Acts 19:6 to new converts after their Baptism. If you did not enter the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH in this way, then you are currently OUTSIDE HIS ONE BODY. Matthew 7:21-23 will help illustrate this point better - how a “believer” can still be OUTSIDE HIS ONE BODY. Here we have people who obvious “believe” (Faith Alone) in Jesus Christ enough to do “mighty works” in His name. What is Jesus’s response to them in verse 23??? How can Jesus say He never knew them and call them “evil doers”??? It all hinges on verse 21 “NOT EVERYONE WHO
SAYS TO ME, ‘LORD, LORD SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN”. Jesus Christ never became known to them through the Holy Eucharist and “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19-20). YOU HAVE NOT TRULY MET JESUS YET, UNTIL YOU RECEIVE HIM IN THE HOLY EUCHARIST IN HIS ONE “KINGDOM OF GOD”.

We must examine the old covenant to fully understand the NEW COVENANT. In Leviticus 5:5-6 and Numbers 5:5-9 we can understand what an old covenant Jew had to do to receive GOD's forgiveness. Additionally, GOD in the Books of Leviticus and Numbers any time personal “sin” is mentioned you will read over and over again “THUS THE PRIEST SHALL MAKE ATONEMENT FOR A MAN’S SINS AND IT WILL BE FORGIVEN” (Lev 4:20, 4:26, 4:31,4:35, 5:6, 5:10, 5:13, 5:16, 5:18, 6:7, 7:7, 12:8, 14:18, 14:19, 14:20, 14:29, 14:31, 15:15, 15:30, 16:32, 16:33, 19:22 Num. 6:11,15:25, and 15:28). In the old covenant, GOD uses ordained “men”, the Leviticus Priesthood, to administer His forgiveness.
Now, does GOD keep His WORD and covenant promises??? GOD promises to have a perpetual priesthood per His covenant in Numbers 25:12-13 and Malachi 2:4-7 and has WORDS of “forever” in Exodus 29:7-9, 40:15, and 1 Chronicles 23:13. Then, GOD promises to have a perpetual priesthood in Jeremiah 33:14-22 NEW COVENANT PROPHECY. Additionally, in context of “gathering the nations” in Isaiah 66:18 GOD states in Isaiah 66:21 “some of them also I will take for priests” meaning no longer based on Levi tribal lineage in the NEW COVENANT. In John Chapter 13, we see Jesus Christ fulfilling His Father’s Levi Covenant promise and Malachi 3:3 prophecy, when He sits down in the upper room “purifying” the NEW COVENANT PRIESTHOOD with a “washing”. This “washing” was a “forever” priestly liturgical GOD command in Exodus 30:21 in order to perform any altar work or sacrifice.
What “same” power does the Son of GOD give to His ONE and ONLY established Church or “the Church” per Matthew 16:19, 18:18 and specifically explained to the NEW COVENANT PRIESTHOOD by Jesus in John 20:21-23??? In 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 St. Paul describes what Jesus Christ did was He “GAVE US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION” and concluded “SO WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST”. I am a better writer than Ellen White. I write about what I can logically derive from Scripture. My insights into the laodicean eye salve, the raiment of Revelation 3:18, and the original definition of faith in the Hebrew Language is vital to all believers today. But I do make mistakes. I do not perfectly word everything. I believe God is leading me but I do not claim to be the final Elijah. Much of what came out of the Millerite movement is good doctrine, the sabbath, the sanctuary, it all aligns with scripture, until one tries to prove Ellen White is the final Elijah, then it brings everything else into disrepute. If God grant me live long enough, I will put the message of William Miller back into the hands of caring Baptists and Methodists et al. AMEN.

Ellen G. White claimed she saw in vision the Father rise from his throne and in a flaming chariot entered the holiest of holies behind the veil and sat down. How can this be when God and his throne IS the holiest of holies? Ellen White also wrote (in Early Writings) that man amalgamated with beast as can be seen in the endless variety of species of animals and in some races of men. There is no doubt in my mind that Ellen White loved the Lord, but young Ellen was left hospitalized in a coma for three weeks which may have caused her to suffer for some kind of delusion of which little was known at the time.

As a young financially struggling woman in this day of age.. How I hope that I can fully achieve that whole food diet. That no dairy, no meat diet. Its not mostly because of lack of temperance but more like the financial capacity to live up to the financial demands of this diet esp if you live in the heart of the city, and even if having already a farm, sometimes it still is not possible to complete all that's needed in the diet. So sometimes you can't help but outsource from the meaty shelves. Esp here in the Ph and the pandemic, it's still all such a struggle. I pray that we can all go to Heaven meet our Lord and Savior and finally granted that access to the Fruity and veggie vastness.

If you read her writings she pointed everyone for the rest of her life to the messages given to the people in the years of 1840-1844 by William Miller. Those were the messages that converted her. From then on she preached the 3 angels messages found in Rev 14:6-11. These messages also happen to be the everlasting gospel as seen in verse 6. Which is the 3 step testing prophetic message that produces two classes of people, one that follows God and all His commandments and another who refuses Him and therefore partake of His judgments. She had the same message the prophets in the Bible had. The message of turning back to the true religion of the Bible. This message the prophets had to speak before a stubborn people who did not accept their message but stoned them. This is the difficulty of her life. Baring a message to a stubborn stiff necked people.

@@bop-ya-good I thought I had already said. The everlasting gospel = a 3 step testing prophetic message that produces two classes of people. Those that follow God and those who don't. It started in Eden and will go to the end of time. It's this prophetic message you see that shows people with the help of Jesus you can put sin out of your life and be saved. Tried, purified, made white. Again this was all in the messages of 1840-1844.
All throughout the Bible every time there is a great reform a small group of God's people who keep his commandments are his pure church. Then they start to welcome more and more sin and every time by the 4 the generation God's judgment comes down on them except again a small group who decide to keep His commandments. That remnant goes on to be the pure church.
The 3 angels messages she says are the important waymarks that came down starting 1798 with the first Angel and the 2nd and 3rd in 1844. Read EW, SM, and GC. That history is all there. Those are the old paths that we have to look to. Those are the messages that when given produced 2 classes of people like they have from the beginning and like they will until the End.

He strengthens us to fight Satan and his temptations. That's why we can trust in Jesus because He was tempted in every way we were but He never sinned.
I'm confused on what you are searching for brother. It sounds like you already Know what answer you would prefer to find. I know only that EGW says the messages of 1840-1844 we're a glorious manifestation of the power of God. She says that there were never a people so ready to meet Him at His second coming. She says those messages had a powerful affect upon the people. If ready to meet God doesn't mean saved I don't know what does. She says those messages are to be made forcible now. What present church do you that preaches those messages? Wouldn't it be like the enemy of souls to hide that important history from our eyes? That contains those important messages that had the everlasting gospel and power to save the people?
